Today, I had the old strap and pipe of my sink replaced. When I expressed concerns about the cost, Jonathan didn’t pressure me; instead, he made honest recommendations and helped me make the best choice. When the water wasn’t draining properly, he even took care of the clog before leaving. This is the second time I’ve received excellent service from him, the first being with the boiler. I highly recommend Jonathan from MJ plumbing heating cooling more than 100%!

Both men are the kind of pro who can confidently and effectively explain the problem and describe the solution in language you can understand!The exceptional feature of this company is their communication. Michael actually answers his phone, really listens to you and attempts to solve things. Their online system sends you a text to confirm the service appointment and another text letting you know exactly when the tech will arrive. And they arrive on time!Jonathan installed a new toilet and replaced the faucets on two sinks. Jacob snaked clean our slow drains. Everything done with care and confidence.We all know how difficult it is to find a good service company. MJ Plumbing is exceptional. And that’s a rare find these days!This is an additional review. We needed help with a leaking toliet. This is the second time we have called MJ Plumbing to fix a problem. Their service is always first rate. Jacob arrived on time (This company will text you a reminder of the date and time several days in advance and then as the rep arrives) Jacob diagnosed the problem, fully explained the solution and gave us a written estimate. Jacob came to service my tankless water heater for its first annual maintenance. He was on time, and I was kept up to date on his arrival. I was interested in understanding the unit, so he opened it up and patiently explained the functions of the parts. He found a plumbing mistake made on the install (by others), so he fixed that as well. Service was definitely a 5, although the cost was quite a bit more than expected. I didnt comparison shop though, so that might be the going rate.

MJ replaced an old gas boiler and water heater with a high efficient wall mounted boiler and indirect tank. Jonathan answered every question I had. He is very detail oriented, the craft to put everything together was above my expectations. Now we have a state of the art heating system that heats both the house and the water. Jonathan, Mike and Jacob are great. If you want quality get MJ.

I wanted someone to service my Navien combi unit in a house I bought three months ago (new house = dont know when the unit was last serviced). It took a while to get an appointment given the number of flooding-related work that has been going on but, when they came, it was worth it. They 100% knew what they were doing and explained everything totally transparently. I would not hesitate to get them in again for a service or a repair. SO much better than many of the HVAC companies that I used to deal with at my old house.Update as of Feb 2023: Used MJ Plumbing again to sort out some old copper piping that was left over from when my house had a hot water tank. They did a superb job - reduced a mess of pipes in to a much simpler, smaller and tidier configuration. - Exactly what I was looking for.

Had a Navien system installed by another contractor 4 years ago. System was acting up and I originally called the previous company up to take a look. The plumber sent obviously did not have much experience with Navien and just threw out some guesses that did not work. Went to the Navien website to look up authorized service professionals. Enter MJ Plumbing. They quickly diagnosed the possible issues and came up with a plan. They were back the following week with the parts needed and got to work. Followed the plan and eventually found the issue. All the while keeping me up to date. Was so happy with the work and the process, I signed up for their annual maintenance agreement. They earned a loyal customer.

This company actually cares about their customers. I had a leak in my condo unit at 9:35pm on Friday night. I immediately shut off the water to my unit and placed a call to the company at 10pm. Much to my surprise, I received a call back at 8:30am on Saturday morning and Jonathan was there at 9:30. Anthony performed all the diagnostics on my new Navien system, even called the company, and did everything possible to find the source of my problem. He even went downstairs to my neighbors unit to make sure the water leak had stopped. The company is very responsible, thorough and they have excellent service. Five star recommendation.
