My garbage disposal stopped working and the same day I called Chesapeake they sent over a plumber. He was amazing. He went over my options and prices. Luckily for me it was a simple fix. My plumber was friendly, explained everything and made me feel great about how we are taking good care of our little garbage disposal. This is the type of service we’ve come to expect and the reason we will continue to be loyal customers. Happy New Year!!

I had a leak in a copper pipe and needed to shut my main water line off. All businesses I contacted were booked up, especially with the upcoming New Years holiday. Amanda from Chesapeake Plumbing responded to an email inquiry within 5 minutes and had me scheduled for the following day. She was very considerate to send plumbers to my address first thing in the morning, hours sooner than my initial 11am appointment. She is excellent at communication and made me feel valued as the customer. The plumbers, David and Billy, were able to replace the corroded section of the pipe within an hour. They were very professional and helpful.

After getting a couple of estimates, we decided on Chesapeake Plumbing to replace an old toilet with a cracked tank. Gary arrived as scheduled, was very professional, and communicated when issues were found. After removing the toilet, he found the old flange was broken and secured incorrectly requiring repair. While he didn’t have parts on the truck, he was able to get them and complete the repair in a reasonable time. He cleaned up the area when the work was done. We would definitely use again.

Great experience with a request to fix my outdoor hose bibb. It wasnt an emergency by any means, just a project Ive been putting off and didnt have the knowledge to fix. The call was quick and they explained the pricing well and gave me an estimated time to complete for the best and worst case, and they had someone out the next day. Joe gave me a heads up call to let me know his ETA (which was well within their estimated window) and was very polite and respectful of the property. He walked me through the process, let me choose when there was an option, and gave me a heads up about where hed have to cut in our garage drywall. Ultimately, I felt like I fully understood the problem and the solution, the piping looks great, and they came in at the lower target in time despite it being a more complicated fix than they were hoping. They accepted card and were there and out within no time. Absolutely loved the experience, and would gladly reach out to them in the future.

The Chesapeake Plumbing team arrived just before 8AM and did not leave until after 7PM and completed the job in one day. From all indications this was not the resultof management leaning on the crew to work supper human levels but rather a plumber acting with compassion and integrity to see the my family had full use of our plumbing facility at the end of the day.This took place on a Friday. I had figured this was a two day job and I would have been happy with use of one bathroom for the intervening weekend. Hecould have capped some piles and left at 4:00 or 4:30 and I would have been satisfied. Rather, he finished the job, cleaned up and was completely done by 7:00. He did not even take a lunch break. In addition, when we turn the system back on there were no leaks. Good work for a plumber. As people they were kind and over the toppolite, all day and into the evening. Frankly, I would have been challenged to meet that standard, no food, long hours and hard work and always pleasant.Chesapeake Plumbing, good people.

He had to run to the supply house to get a part he didnt have, but was back within a half an hour; the problem was fixed within 20 minutes of that. We had a leaky faucet in our downstairs bathroom that went from a dip to a strong steady stream. We googled some local plumbers in the area and came across Chesapeake Plumbing Inc. Called explained the problem, the woman said she didnt have anyone available today but could send someone out tomorrow between 8a-12p. So the next morning John is knocking on our door at 8:15am to address the problem. By the 9:15, John had the problem corrected. John was professional but still personable, friendly and at times funny. He broke down the invoice for us and even educated us on how pricing with some companies are are going from standard pricing to commission based pricing. Jake diagnosed the problem, went to work, snaked out the drain pipe and finished around 12:45. Gave me a few options, but was not pushy. Problem solved, and I would strongly consider using them again.

We had an AO Smith hot water heater installed a couple of days ago. Keith and John were great! They put plastic sheeting down to protect the carpeting throughout the basement level when they had to get the old hot water heater out since it wouldnt drain the normal way (because it was so old) and it wasnt an easy task. Again, they managed it and were polite and friendly, did a neat and clean job and an expert installation. Would highly recommend Chesapeake Plumbing for your next plumbing job.

I was referred to Chesapeake Plumbing by one of their satisfied customers with whom I go to church. We have a difficult, complicated water filter system problem which has affected the plumbing throughout our entire house. John listened to the tale of woe as to how weve arrived at the current situation, then he independently checked the household water to confirm the status of the water in the house and in the plumbing. He corrected some minor, previous fixes to the plumbing then assessed a comprehensive fix to the plumbing stoppages. He will be coming back to break through drywall to get access to showers/tubs in order to completely fix the compromised plumbing. While we are still mid-job, we are confident that John knows what hes doing and that he will be able to restore our plumbing to its original or an even better state.
