L & L was my go to company when I lived in Parker. They were always prompt and honest with their diagnoses. This was the first time I had them do work on my house in Thornton. They have not disappointed me . I had a damaged furnace exhaust cap on my roof. Blake came on time to give me an estimate on the job . He went into my attic to make sure the piping was secure. The job was completed correctly . Great job Blake. I would recommend this company for any of your heating and air jobs . They treat your house like its their own.

Our furnace stopped working over the weekend. We Called L&L late Saturday and they had someone out on Sunday morning. They determined it would be more cost effective to replace the furnace that was almost 30 years old vs throwing money at the old one. They had a crew out on Monday to install a new unit. Outstanding company! L&L recently replaced our furnace and AC. They are very competent and professional. We ran into a few issues with our new unit due to the fact we are at a higher altitude but Blake diligently and quickly worked to locate the problem and fix it. For the past 3 or so years, we have used L@L for all annual maintenance and every tech during that time, has been great to work with. Dan performed our winter maintenance recently and did a great job, even staying after completion to answer numerous questions that I had. L&L responded extremely quickly, sent someone out very fast and promptly and were very quick to assist. I give them 4 stars because the woman on the line was rude and short, helpful, but rude and their prices were a bit higher than other HVAC companies. If my issue was less urgent, I would have likely gone with another company, but Blake was a great technician and communicated very well. He deserves 5 stars!

So far I have been happy with the personalized service I have received from both the office and techs.My swamp cooler was installed by L&L this last Spring. Very happy with the new swamp cooler (breezeaire).I recently called them for a seasonal service because I had concerns about the water line freezing. They came out in a timely manner, and did the work. And then because I still needed air circulation, they came back out to reattach the fan belt and power the system back on for ventilation purposes. Jason took extra special care to make sure that the job was done right and that all was running smoothly.

The office worker was very friendly and I was given a next day appointment for furnace inspection. Nick was the technician and was very prompt, texting of his arrival time. He uncovered a furnace problem that should have been detected on the home inspection. Fortunately the new motor was covered under warranty. Nick returned to next morning to install the new motor. We had to call him back after he left as the fan wasnt running; he returned promptly and cheerfully to locate and fix the issue. He checked in by text that day to make sure the house was heated. Im very happy with the service provided by L & L!

I went with a coworkers recommendation as he told me that L & L had recently fixed his AC issue and didnt try to sell him on anything more like so many other companies try to do. I’ve been using L&L for maintenance on my central heating and air conditioning system for a several years now. They came out this week for my air conditioning maintenance and were a pleasure to work with, from the Receptionist/Scheduler to the very professional and knowledgeable Technician who serviced our system. This time the technician even repaired a leaking pipe and rerouted it at no additional fee. The cost of their bi-annual maintenance is well worth it. Definitely recommend them!Update: had an issue with my humidifier. I called and got prompt service. Since I had replaced the canister just 2 months prior, and didn’t want to spend the money to replace it so soon, the technician said I could try soaking it in vinegar and water to get rid of residue inside. I did and it worked! Such great technicians that teach you things to save you money!

She was very happy with how she was treated, and with Brandons professionalism. Very quick response time. And friendly. Been with the company since 2016 and have a gold plan with them. This time I’m not happy. My ac stopped working because Xcel energy shut it off to save energy. Tyler mentioned that he’s unplugged the energy saver box 5 times already from other clients. Tyler did the winter maintenance for my furnace which I appreciate and told me that he just went ahead and unplugged the energy saver box. he didn’t discuss or say that it would be a $129 service fee until he was all done and at the front door asking for a credit card and ready to leave. Their service fee used to be $99. He should’ve told me that right as he entered my home. He also left the humidifier on and the water supply line valve for the water for the humidifier while the ac was running good thing I caught it before it iced over.

Discovered COLD air blowing from our heating vents at 1PM the snowy day before Thanksgiving (4 day weekend). A friends realtor Joe Plutt recommended L&L Heating & Air by name. Melissa answered the phone promptly, listened to our situation, and explained the closest technician (Daniel Lewis-not the actor) was 20 minutes from our home on an involved boiler job. She called him, and he agreed to help us after completing his current project.Another contractor called us and explained that Rheem furnace parts are only available to Rheem-certified technicians, so I called back to confirm Daniel was Rheem certified (he is). Melissa allowed us to call Daniel to confirm he had Rheem parts with him, and Daniel proceeded to patiently listen to our furnace symptoms. He walked us through some of the possible problems upon request, and answered every one of our questions.The night before Thanksgiving, Daniel made a housecall in the snow at 5:30PM so that our pipes (and we) would not freeze over the long holiday weekend. What exceptional customer service. We will be contacting Daniel Lewis at L&L Heating & Air for our future furnace maintenance tune-ups, and will recommend Daniel personally for his 10 years of experience with L&L, his personable demeanor and helpful explanations, and his going above and beyond for his customers. They were very professional and honest.Yesterday early evening my air conditioner stopped working, which is still under warranty. After a year of troubleshooting with other HVAC companies, we figured the only option was to move the entire system and it would have been a very costly process. We decided to call L&L since they were down the street from us and get a bid on moving the system. On the day they came to give me a quote, they did some troubleshooting and actually figured out where the issue was coming from! They were able to fabricate something within the system to stop the condensation from being blown out of the drip tray and into our basement. This saved us a lot of headache and money. They came in the middle of a snowstorm for what ended up being a flipped ground fault outlet that I had no idea i needed to check - And were kind enough to give me a tour of all of of my furnace, hot water tank, and more. The service tech even replaced my furnace filter. They came another time at 9 pm when our heat went out and swiftly replaced a part that had gone bad. How long can my review be? I have SO much to say..... such positive things!! I had the pleasure of having Chris at my home today who was early for our appointment.... let me say that again: EARLY!! He came in and quickly got to work. He used verification measures to access my A/C. My suspicion was that it needed to be cleaned and it also needed more freon. Using a thermometer inside my home and some gauges outside Chris quickly told me my A/C unit needs more freon. He quoted me the very reasonable cost for freon and cleaning the system ($220). I also wanted a REMO HALO in-duct air purifier. Chris installed it in 30 minutes and there was no mess and no issue with installation.Id like to say that calling L&L was the best idea.... Im so glad I listened to my gut instinct. I had another local company out last week (Emporia) who told me my unit is too old (average life span on an A/C unit is 15-20 years; mine is 11yrs) and offered me two options: 1) $830 to clean it OR 2) $4100 for a new unit. This man didnt use any verification to test my system..... he literally used no tools or any form of verification to access my system. WHAT???!!! How do these people put their head on the pillow at night? They are dishonest.Chris is honest and very thorough in his work. My house was SO COLD by the time he left. He kept checking his work and making sure my system was responding to the added freon instead of just jumping in his van and off he went. I had to turn the A/C off after he left..... it was so cold! Nice work Chris : )Please support this small company. They provide honest work.

Had a wonderful experience with L&L particularly with their service tech Dan Jones. Our AC went out Thursday night. Friday we call multiple HVAC companies and most wouldnt have a tech available till Monday late afternoon or even longer than that. Got ahold of L&L around 1700 on Friday and they said they would have a tech out Saturday between 0800-1000. Dan called us when he was on his way and let us know there was a lot of traffic on the 470 but he would get to our house as soon as he could. Once he arrived he took a look at the thermostat and then headed outside to the unit. Once outside he explained what he was doing and provided me with a lot of info about AC units which I really appreciated. He diagnosed and found the problem right away. Once he replaced the capacitor the unit kicked right on and started blowing cold air again. Never once did he try to up sell any extra parts or use any scare tactics trying to get us to buy a new unit. Dan was very upfront and honest with us and had our best interest in mind. I would defiantly recommend Dan to any of my friends and family, and because of his excellent service he has earned our trust and we will defiantly contract L&L and request Dan for any of our future HVAC needs.

She answered all of this within a millisecond! Impressive! Also, I suggested to her that finding your website is very difficult. She informed me that you can find it under a different name other that was is reflected in your invoices and logo. Bryan was amazing!! He came out for a furnace checkup, was able to quickly check everything, clean my furnace, replace the filter, and get it ready for winter. He took the time to do it correctly, was happy to help and never once tried to tell me some bogus lie about anything that a lot of other companies would do to upsell something you dont need. Thanks Bryan! Great company!

John with L&L just saved our bacon! Our furnace went out tonight in the middle of this unreal blizzard (3/14/2021) at 11:30pm at night. I have two small kids and can’t go all night in a blizzard with no heat. I called L&L while knowing there was no way a tech could make it to our home due to road closures and undriveable conditions, but I called anyway and got ahold of John. He patiently walked me through diagnosing the error codes on the furnace, walked me through several possible diagnostics, and eventually helped me solve the issue fixing the furnace together on the phone. Grateful for this company, we now have heat when we need it most and John’s insight helped me solve what Google and YouTube could not.

Had a great experience with L&L replacing a 42 year old Rooftop Unit (RTU). This contains the furnace and air conditioning unit and requires a crane to get the old unit off of the roof and the new unit onto the roof.Phil, who came out to bid the job, was professional and knowledgable about the different options. He gave me the model number and specs of the unit he was proposing to put in so that I could compare it against other units from other manufacturers and other bids. He was easy to work with and quickly answered my questions both by text and by email.L&Ls bid wasnt the highest or lowest one, but it was the one with the best value, we thought. The lower priced bid was definitely a lower end unit, with shorter warranty, and the highest priced bid was an older model from the same manufacturer (Lennox), so we went with L&L.Communication before install day was excellent, with Phil coordinating the crane, RTU delivery, and installers. Everybody came together on time, and the installation team of Arturo Sr. and Arturo Jr. were fantastic. The old RTU came out quickly, and the Arturos quickly had the new RTU in place and running well.I would choose L&L again for future HVAC work. They were quick, well-priced, and did the job in a complete and efficient manner.I delayed putting in this review for a few weeks to make sure everything was running well, and it is!
