I was especially pleased with the expertise they brought to the job and the thorough checkout of the boiler and all the hot water heating circuits they performed after the new side arm tank was installed. Today (Sunday) our hot water heater pressure tank burst. We called 1st choice and they were out here within an hour. Derek fixed the problem in about 30 minutes. First Choice Pro Services was amazing! We had a new hot water tank, new furnace and new air conditioning installed in such a short time we were honestly thrilled. We called one afternoon and the next morning they arrived early and were done by early afternoon. They had many crew members here and they were all very friendly, hard working, very knowledgeable, and answered all our questions in ways we could understand. They were working in a very tight area as well. We could not be happier with their service. We would definitely recommend them for your installations or repairs.

Peyton came on Christmas Eve to address a leak in our utility room. Nice tech that resolved our leak. However the price! I’m fine with the 300 trip charge given the day for another 400-500 for 15mins of replacing a 4in length of copper pipe. So 800 total for 15mins of work. I will always get a 2nd quote before executing with this team given the price.

So glad I called 1st Choice Pro Services. I had a problem with my Aprilaire furnace humidifier. They came out the day after I called. Kolvey White was the technician who helped us. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He explained what he did to troubleshoot the problem and explained my options. He had to track down a solenoid for our system and ran out to get it. He completed the installation and had us back up and running quickly. Kolvey made the whole process easy. I felt really well informed and trusted his work and the price. Got an AC installation after doing a hot water heater install. Had a few hiccups with initial install but everyone involved worked hard to fix everything and make sure the unit was installed properly. Some minor work afterwords was done free of charge. Overall, very satisfied with how issues were handled and how hard everyone at 1st choice worked to make sure the AC install was done well. Will continue to use 1st choice for future work.

Frank arrived less than one-hour later, very professional and took the time to explain the part, warranty, and quality vs what the builders use. Frank was AWESOME and a life saver. He had the new copper pipe replaced in no time and water restored back in the house. We appreciate it and thank you again! Highly recommend this company.

I began renovating older homes in 1985 ranging from 1880s Victorian to mid-century modern. The current project is a 1920s craftsman bungalow. The original heating was a coal burning gravity system that was updated probably in the late 1930s converted to gas forced air and enveloped in asbestos. Looking for the proper application, I contacted 5 different service providers with 5 distinctly different approaches to the solution. A frustrating process until I met Don with 1st Choice. Scheduling our initial appointment was easy, we walked through the home which, at the time was full of stuff. Don had a vision, and an appreciation for the homes esthetic. .. a compact efficient Navien system that provides not only radiant heat but tankless domestic hot water. It wasnt inexpensive nor was it the most expensive option presented by the 5 competitors. I feel I made the best choice. They were very accommodating when I encountered unforeseen delays getting the job site prepared. When they finally gained access, a team of 6 courteous and skilled craftsmen, worked 4 days to complete a flawless installation. They worked constantly in order to accommodate my timeline, completing the job on-time, leaving the job site spotless. The installation is a work of art and state-of-the-art technology. Probably the best experience Ive had with an HVAC service.

Yesterday Saturday January 6th our pilot light on our furnace wasnt igniting. It was chilly in our home and we reached out to four companies locally to come look at our furnace. The only company to respond quickly was 1st Choice. We were told a tech could be at our home within the hour? Technician Phil arrived in less than an hour, diagnosed our issue, got our system up and running and gave us a quote to repair our furnace if the issue happened again? Phil was awesome, professional, prompt and got our system running again really quick. If the problem arrises again we know who to call and Phil gave us his personal cell number to follow up! We had a shower project in progress when a valve on the water line sheared off. A plumbing recommendation for 1st Choice Pro Services was found on NextDoor. Their plumber arrived in just over 30 minutes. The broken valve was replaced and tested with little impact to the shower project, and the plumber left 2.5 hours after we called them. Reasonable price, too!

They repair when possible rather than telling me I need to replace. They just made a recommendation which saved me an new water heater urgently and being without hot water for a few days. Now I can save up for a new one and spare myself cold showers.

Steven arrived exactly at the time I was told he would and got right to work on my A/C compressor. He found a problem with one of the wires, and the unit started working. Nevertheless, he waited around for several minutes to see if the work he did on the wire was actually the problem. When it turned out not to be the problem, he replaced the wire altogether. He again waited around to see if the new wire would stop the problem. Unfortunately, it did not. He then checked several other items, including the coolant level and the electrical panel, and finally fixed the unit. I really appreciated the perseverance and attention to detail that he displayed. If he ever decides to change careers, hed make a great detective!

They sent someone out within the hour late on a Saturday night and they worked extremely hard to fix our issue so our baby could stay warm. We had horrible sounds coming from under the house every time we used our water. We called 1st choice and they had David out within a day or two to diagnose the issue (water pressure too high from old regulator valve) and then he came back a few days later to replace the valves after the city had to come out and turn off our water. He was super knowledgeable and replaced the valves quickly. We only had the water off for about 2 hours max. Will definitely call them again with any future plumbing issues.

I used 1st Choice to remove our old furnace and a/c units and replace them with new equipment. Phil was excellent in going over my choices, the benefits of each and selecting the proper brand and model for my home. The price was competitive and only slightly higher than bids we received on napkins from much less professional quotes we received.The primary difference in the slightly lower costs from others was related to lower rated equipment.Phil, Josh and one other fella installed the two new systems over two days. The installation looks perfect, they used drop cloths to protect my floors and overall were respectful of my home. The common snag type of things that come up during installation were handled the right way as opposed to cutting corners. For example, they could have manhandled the hot water heater that was in the way to save some time and possibly cause an issue. Instead, they drained, moved and then reinstalled the water heater. This gave a bit more room and prevented any damage.Overall, we have had the new systems in place for 2 weeks now ands they work flawlessly. We are very happy with selecting 1st Choice for our replacement systems.

Yesterday they replaced our leaking PEX water manifold. Quality work by professionals.I recently made an emergency call to 1st Choice on a Saturday morning when I discovered water leaking from above our ceiling in the outside mechanical room. Brendan called back 10 - 15 minutes later and assured me that the water was coming from the water heater or manifold in the condo above. He also upped our water pressure and water temperature in both showers. Chuck also came on an emergency basis at 730pm at night as our faucet was leaking and water was dripping onto our kitchen table and he stopped the shower faucet leak so the leak stopped dripping through our kitchen ceiling and onto our table. We called 1st Choice Plumbing because it was highly rated on Nextdoor. We had seen some water pressures inside our house that were above what we expected from our water pressure regulator. We expected that we would have to replace our water pressure regulator.David came the day after we called 1st Choice. He called close to the beginning of the two hour window we were given for our service call, said he was finishing up a previous call and would arrive in about 20 minutes, which he did.David listened patiently to our clues and symptoms, and fairly quickly theorized that the culprit was not the water pressure regulator, but the expansion tank close to the water heater which was not pressurized. He did a test of turning up the hot water temperature on the water heater, and observed the water pressure building up. We then changed the pressure in the expansion tank from 0 PSI to 40 PSI, and reperformed the test. The pressure stayed constant! The problem was solved!So David was an excellent trouble shooter, and prevented us from needlessly replacing a good water pressure regulator (and saved us a lot of money).I would certainly recommend 1st Choice plumbing to others, and plan to use them on my next plumbing problem.

I had a pin hole leak in a hard to reach area in my subfloor. I had to shut off my water to the whole house until I got the leak fixed. After calling a couple different places and one visit from another company who said he could fix it but he would need to tear out a big portion of my wall to get to the leak, he said he would have to come back another day to fix it. This would leave me without water for more days. I told him I need to try to find someone who might be able to get to the job sooner. I jumped back on the internet. I found 1st choice and their many great reviews so I called them at about 3:30 pm crossing my fingers that they might be able to help me. Sure enough they sent out a tech and he worked on the leak for a couple hours and only removed a small portion of my wall to fix the leak. I had my water back on 4 hours from the time I placed the call.
