Were so grateful to Jake and the folks at NS Johnson for rescuing us from a potentially freezing cold night! Our thermostat, which controls the furnace, gave up the ghost at 3:00 this afternoon, and within a couple hours Jake was here replacing it so we wont freeze tonight. Great service, on what looked like a very busy day for them, but we are most grateful! Weve used their services for a couple years and have never been disappointed.

Back in April we started having issues with our boiler not sending enough hot water to the fixtures. Jake came out and was thorough but quick to diagnose the issue. He took the time to explain the system and what wasnt working. He got the new control board on order, set us up with a temporary solution so we could have hot showers, and was back within a couple days to finish the job. Great communication throughout, Jake was kind and professional. We will definitely be calling N.S. Johnson for our future HVAC and plumbing needs!

Jake did an excellent job. Our heat pump went out and he came, in the pouring down rain, to repair it. He was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Mike is great to work with too. I had a great experience with NS Johnson! I talked to Mike on the phone in the morning, and he was able to send out Jake within 2 hours. Jake was able to help me get the water heater working, and he also fixed a leaky faucet.While Jake was there, I had a washer and dryer dropped off. Jake was able to help me install the washer and the dryer as well.Overall, I had a great experience with NS Johnson, and Jake was phenomenal!10/10 recommend using these guys!

I contacted NSJohnson when my current HVAC company advised us our entire geothermal unit needed replaced after our sump pump failed. The quote for a new system was in our inbox within hours. After a lengthy discussion with my husband, we decided to get a second opinion. NS Johnson was prompt, courteous and very straight forward. They believed our nine year old system could be repaired and provided a quote that was fair and reasonable. They ordered the parts and had our system operating within two weeks. It has been over 90 days since the repair and everything is operating normal. Jake Weaver was absolutely on of the best technicians we have ever encountered. Mike was also great to deal with. We have officially cut ties with the former company and will be using NS Johnson. I highly recommend the staff and company. Thank you again!!

A local big name company was taking advantage of me and was pushing a new $12000 heat pump system on me. They also overcharged me by A TON for the little work that they did to my current unit and had quoted me much more for other work they claimed I needed. Called NS Johnson for a second opinion and was connected with mike. Explained the situation to him and he told me he’d send jake out that day. Jake was there within 2 hours and checked out my heat pump, fixed a few little things, and made sure it was working properly. He did all of this for less than $200. The other company was trying to charge me $12000 for a new unit or $2400 to “temporarily fix” my current unit. Thanks Mike and Jake!! Will absolutely use NS Johnson for all my needs and highly recommend them to all!!

I had a lingering problem with my heat pump and thought Id try a new HVAC service. I paid $900 to the last contractor and had the same problem re-appear.I called NS Johnson and set up an appointment. They said they could come later the next day...and they were worth waiting for! Jake came out on the service call and explained everything he was doing. Hes a very nice guy, professional, and well-schooled on heat pumps. He diagnosed the problem, (that its a pin hole leak somewhere in the system) added dye to the refrigerant and will return to see where its leaking. The total bill was less than a third of what I paid the last contractor AND I know itll be fixed. Ill still have to pay for the return call, but Im very happy with the whole experience. I would highly recommend N.S. Johnson and Ill be asking for Jake to do my service work.

They left the place clean and communicated really well throughout the process - even when it looked like there was no gas in the line. The price was fair and the work was excellent.

Jake has serviced our furnace for the past 4 years. When it was really cold a few weekends ago, our furnace was struggling to kick on. He came out on a Sunday Evening because he didnt want us going without heat until Monday. He also serviced our fireplace when we couldnt get the pilot light to ignite and get the flame going. He is friendly and trustworthy. I recommend them.

Ive been using N.S. Johnson for over 4 years already. They installed my air conditioning unit including duct work when I purchased my first house. They did a great job installing this in an older home. They were very efficient and knowledgeable. They installed a new hot water heater for me in a rush when mine broke 2 years ago. They had a new one installed the next day. They installed a toe kick heater under my sink which really bumped up the heat in my kitchen. They are professional, on time, and always offer a solution at a great value. Highly recommended!

This was my first time using N.S. Johnson. I reached them on a Sunday and they were able to help me next day. Mike was the technician who came to my house to diagnose my AC not working. Look no further if you are in need of an hvac contractor. My boiler sprung a leak and stopped working. The contractor I was using told me I needed to spend 10,000 dollars for a new boiler! These guys are great! They installed our geothermal system and were cheaper than the competitors and were way more knowledgable. I felt confident (knowing very little about geo other than what I researched) that they were installing the right components to fit our current and future needs, which was certainly not the case for the 2 or 3 other guys I met with that specialize in geothermal.After a renovation, they came back out and worked with our contractor to make sure the system worked for the whole house without having to install additional (and costly) components, which is no easy task.Any time theyve needed to come out for minor tweaks or regular services, they can come right out, usually next day. Just overall, super easy to work with (Nate, the owner, and Mike, the tech) and have gone over and above to make sure were good to go! Im so happy I found them and I would recommend them to anyone.
