Jake and Ashton from Mountain Home Services were amazing! And Drew, our sales rep were all very professional, timely, knowledgeable and accommodating. They over delivered on providing us with the complete heating, air conditioning and heat pump system we were hoping for.We wanted a new system that would be very quiet, energy efficient, easy to operate remotely, and most importantly, keep the house at a constant temperature without the noise and temperature swings.What we got was an integrated Lennox Elite smart system that operates so seamlessly, quietly and efficiently that we never even know it’s there. The combination of a high efficiency furnace, an energy saving AC, and a very energy efficient heat pump for the more mild weather and shoulder seasons is absolutely perfect.And these guys even took care of all the paperwork for the rebates, savings is over $4000. Which means we got a top of the line system for less than the price of a builder grade system. I know this because another company quoted us on a generic system without any of the upgrades, quite pack, or efficiency ratings for $5000 more.And here’s what I love about these guys. They had to move the thermostat to the opposite end of the house, add a new circuit board, do all kinds of new duct work, more. All at no additional cost.I highly recommend Mountain Home Services and give them a five star recommendation without hesitation, based on their service, expertise, product quality, pricing, installation quality, and going the extra mile and over delivering.

Out technicians were great! We had a heat pump installed where our AC unit was and had the furnace replaced as well. Along with those replacements, our technicians worked long hours upgrading the old system with many new components. It took 2 full plus days not leaving until after 8pm to get the job done! They explained everything thoroughly and were respectful of our busy household and didn’t seem to mind one bit. Highly recommend!

I called first thing in the morning and had a technician there before 11. Rodolfo was amazing. He explained everything as he worked, answered all my questions, and gave me all the options without pressure. He was able to get the part and fix the problem quickly. If I could leave more than 5 stars, I would. Weve had a leak in our attic for years. Weve called numerous people to take a look and let us know if they could fix it and nobody gave us the right answers. We were told it was something we knew it wasnt, told things werent installed that should have been (unnecessary things), fixed something huge that ended up not being the issue, etc.After years of frustration and a puddle in the middle of our entryway, we finally got in contact with mountain home as a last ditch effort. Dana was super sweet getting us scheduled and sending me information on their plans.We were able to get scheduled quickly. Chad was our first guy. He was super nice and up front about what he thought it was. Admittedly, we made a mess trying to figure out the issue ourselves, which made his job harder, but he was a trooper about it. He made the call to replace a cheaper section of pipe that he was hopeful would fix the issue without us having to fork out a larger amount of unnecessary money. While he was in the process of tying things together, he had set his glue on a weak spot and it fell through the ceiling, splashing on our wall, floor and closet door. Yall. Pipe glue is STICKY and dries so quickly. There was no cleaning any of it. He came right down, apologized PROFUSELY, scraped up what would come off the floor (luckily that came off fairly easily), and made it clear that he felt awful and that he/mountain home would take care of the damages, regardless of what was needed. He finished up the remaining work and let us know that someone would be here the next day to talk about options and follow up on the leak.Unfortunately, the leak was just above where Chad had replaced, which was the more expensive section he was hoping to avoid. But, Mike came the next day, as promised. Super kind and thoroughly explained what was needed. He took his time replacing the other section, and walking me through what mountain home was going to do about the glue spill.In the end, the only thing we were responsible for was the cost of the second pipe. Mountain home covered the cost of the initial pipe, the ceiling replacement from the leak/hole and the cost to have the glue taken care of. We got hooked up with Doug, who was referred to by Dana as their everything guy. He came out 3 days in a row to take care of the ceiling patch, mudding and painting. We had him take care of an extra spot of damaged drywall while he was here and he didnt charge us a dime. We still paid him, of course.At the end of the day, this company has been quick, professional, helpful, kind, thoughtful, and has provided exceptional customer service. We will recommend them and will continue using them for future services.

I had scheduled an furnace tune up and Rodolfo gave me a call as he was on the way and arrived right in the middle of the window I was given. He was very professional and friendly and got right to work. Once he was finished he let me know that there were no problems with the system but the ducts were dusty. I asked for a quote and he provided a full quote for what a cleaning would cost but didnt pressure me into anything. The whole experience was very positive and I look forward to with Mountain Home Services in the future!

Mike M. was great. He had an emergency call come in just as he was heading to our house, so he gave me the option to come the next day, however we would not be home the next day. So he happily came to our house and did not seem rushed to try and “get through” so he could go to the emergency call. He was able to diagnose the problem we had quickly and spent plenty of time explaining to me what was happening and why. Now that we understand what the problem is and why it is happening, it is a super simple fix that I am very comfortable doing. It was nice he did not try to paint a scary picture so we would have them fix it. He did not give us outrageous options for repairing the problem that we had to choose from. He just clearly explained what the problem was and why it was happening and what they would do to fix it. I said that I could easily do that, and he agreed. That was it. Then he was on his way to the emergency call after us. I’d have him come back again to diagnose problems. He was polite, clear in his explanations, and fast. Thanks Mike!

--------------UPDATE--------------04/25/2022I have always been EXTREMELY impressed with Mountain Air so when I decided to update my HVAC system which was rapidly deteriorating I knew who to call. I replaced my old water heater which was popping more than my knees going up the stairs with a new tankless heater and also replaced my furnace and AC unit with a high efficiency heat pump and auxiliary heater.There was a lot to this install and there were a few obstacles we needed to overcome. I am here to tell you that Carson and Chad made me feel SUPER comfortable with my concerns and I felt absolutely confident that they would take care of them. I took them at their word and they delivered. That is something rare I have found in todays world.Now onto the install... Tony and Jaden were AWESOME.. Tony took time to answer my myriad of questions and every single concern I had, he took care of IMMEDIATELY.. I was in the Army and slightly OCD ;P and from the ductwork to the piping everything was immaculate. I have absolutely no complaints and if you are researching HVAC companies you honestly dont need to look any further....Jeff was awesome!! Explained things and did a really great job! GO ARMY BEAT NAVY!! :)Just had Rhett come out... Your customer service is absolutely AMAZING.. It has been a long time since I have seen a company who actually cares more about the customer then trying to sell me something I dont need.. Solomon and Scott came to do a furnace inspection. Both were extremely pleasant and extremely professional. I was very comfortable having them in my home. I appreciated that they immediately put booties on when I invited them in (not every company out there does that). And their work was very thorough. I won’t claim to be knowledgeable at HVAC maintenance but I know enough to know when a tech knows his stuff or not. I felt confident these guys knew it. They answered all my questions and they were thorough in their inspection. Very impressed. I think I’ll be calling Mountain Air for future inspections and service.

Abel was a great tech! He explained everything very well to me and answered all questions I had about my furnace. He set up an appointment to have an estimate for a new system in our home. Joseph Garner came to our home, measured the area and addressed our concerns on our hot bedroom. He explained his thoughts on a solution for our issue and gave us plenty of options. We decided to update our entire system with a variable speed furnace and heat pump. Landon and Kaden installed our system. Both of them were very friendly and answered all questions I had and were not bothered by the homeowner wanting to be involved in the installation process. The installation took two days, Joseph showed both days to check on the progress and answered further questions that I had. It was very nice to see Joseph following up on the progress. Joseph was also prompt at replying to texts and answering any questions I had.I will most definitely continue to use this company for all of my HVAC needs!

Rodolfo and Zach came by to check out my aging unit. Despite being original to the home and clearly on its last leg, they still diligently worked through a full diagnostic. At the end, they provided me a number of options like a partial repair, complete repair, and explained how these could be credited towards other services.What I appreciated most was their candid feedback and willingness to explain the “what” and “why” they were doing throughout the diagnostic. It felt more like I was working with friendly coworkers and less like I’d called a company to help me. I can confidently say it was technicians, not salesman, that showed up at my door. Their sales group is a separate department and they only come out upon your request.This company is clearly one of the larger ones in the area and I was apprehensive to call. However, at the recommendation of a neighbor, I’m glad I called and I wasn’t let down. If this is their standard for service then I can strongly recommend them to others. We had an amazing experience! Ray came out first to inspect our AC, which had stopped working. He determined there was probably a leak in the coil, and the price of that was pretty much most of a new system. Since our unit was towards the end of its life, we opted for a new one. One day later, Drew came over and went over all the numbers of buying a new unit and really took the time to explain what everything meant. Ammon and Xavi were here the next day to install our new system. After all was said and done, we realized the motor in our furnace had broken. Mike was here the next day to install a new motor at no extra charge to us. Our house is finally cooling down for the first time in weeks! I’m so glad we found this company. Everyone we worked with was so kind, attentive, clean, and really took the time to explain what was going on. They’ve gotten a customer for life!

Brett was amazing, and very knowledgeable. We needed a specific part for our buildings cooling system. At first he said we would have to wait until the next day because he didnt have that particular part in his van, he then made a phone call and said he would just go get it and install it the same day instead. He was back with in the hour and stayed later to take care of the issue which we apricated so much because we are a spa and didnt want our clients to be uncomfortable with how hot the building was starting to get. Brett knew exactly what the problem was right away and he was very nice and respectful when it came to his customer service. Jie Lee is the best, he is a 5 star employee. He explains everything so well and he is very respectful of our home and us as customers. I am however disappointed in the new yearly service plan that came as a result of the change to Mountain Home. We have been customers of Mt Air for some time and to not have the option to stay with our old plan is disappointing. The new plan raises our yearly payment by 77.00. We are not in need of plumbing and electrical so that makes our decision difficult, not to mention we will lose our warranty if we don’t sign up with your new plan. I’m hoping you’ll think through this new plan and allow us as customers to make our own choices instead of being forced into a plan that doesn’t work for us.

My conditioner was excessively loud during operation. I called to have a representative from Mountain Air examine the unit. I received next-day service that determined the unit should be replaced. The following day the project manager cam to my hose to offer details regarding replacement options. By the end of the third day my A.C. unit had was replaced and my furnace upgraded. The project manager was very thorough and informative and the installation crew (Ammon and Xavier) worked hard, were well trained, thorough, and very personable. The entire process exceeded my expectations.

I could write a whole essay on how happy I am with Mountain Air and their technician Mike M. But, Ill try to stick to the facts: I called another company on a Sunday and a computer answered, then I was on hold for 5 minutes before I hung up. So, I called Mountain Air and a kind woman picked up immediately. I explained the situation with my furnace blower motor not starting, and she told me that she could have a technician there within a few hours. Mike M. Called me within 45 minutes to let me know he was on his way. When he arrived a few minutes, he was pleasant, professional and even put boot covers over his shoes out of courtesy. Within 5 minutes he found a simple solution and had my AC working again. Then he took the time to clean off my condenser unit and educate me about the system. I could go on, but bottom line: I am so happy and impressed with Mike M and Mountain Air that when what time does come that I need to replace my HVAC, they are absolutely getting my business, without question. I had a good experience with the salesman going through lots of options that would work for my house and my budget. Install was estimated at 3 days, it ended up needing 4, I understand that houses are unique and things happen. My issue came when we were planning on leaving town the 4th day of the installation. We told they we would need to reschedule do to not being home. This reschedule took many weeks. Again I understand being busy, in the mean time the pump for the condenation failed and flooded a good portion of our basement before it was noticed. The salesman quickly came out to address the issue do to the installers not having availability, this was impressive to me, we got a temporary solution for the weekend. When someone came out to replace the pump it was discovered the pump hadnt failed but had lost power due to a broken/cut wire (poor install) someone was finally scheduled to come out and finish the install. We adjusted our schedule and one guy showed up, looked at what needed to be done and said I cant do this alone.... more waiting. Finally the day came, estimated 3-4 hours to finish, took 8 hours. Lots of this time was due to an improper install that fried some of the electronics, so they had to go get replacement parts and redo the install. I liked most things about mountain air and would use them again I would recommend they do a little more training with theyre installers to avoid a black mark on an othwise positive experience.

Our ancient AC finally stopped working, of course the week we start to hit triple didgets. Mountain Air sent out a technician, Drew, right away to review the situation. Within half an hour he assessed the issues and provided multiple quotes depending on how we wanted to proceed. After choosing a new AC unit he scheduled an instalation the following morning.The next day, Ammon came out to install our new unit. He was very efficient and completed the install quickly. Once done, he started to show me how to use the new thermostat. At that exact moment, all thr power in my house went out due to an unrelated, nearby car accident. Not knowing this at the time Ammon contacted an electrician and made sure their work had not caused the issue instead if just leaving, which is greatly appreciated!He did determine it was a neighborhood wide event. So we finished up the paperwork quickly. When power did finally return, the new AC unit kicked in quickly and dropped the house by 15 degrees overnight. All in all Mountain Air did a fantastic job and was great to work with.

We got our ac unit from Mountain Air last year in June of 2023, they installed and was working great, until couple days ago our thermostat starting giving trouble, (purchased separately), but just to be safe we wanted to make sure it was only that and not our unit so we turned back Mountain Home to take a look at our unit, their technician Mikey Hall came out to take a look at it, it was a pump malfunction! Thanks Mr. Hall for your expertise and explanation of what needed to be done and the cause of our unit shutting down and not cooling, he was quick to solve the problem. Definitely recommend him!
