As a professional in commercial architecture, Ive worked with numerous installers and contractors on both commercial and residential projects. Without a doubt, Apollo Energy has set a remarkable standard in the industry. Their work ethic and communication skills are truly unparalleled.I enlisted Apollo to install a complete solar, ATS, battery system, and in conjunction, upgrading my entire existing electrical infrastructure; which included ripping out two old panels, combining the circuits, and installing one, combined sub panel. It should be noted that I interviewed 3 different installers for this full outfit on my home. Apollo won by an obvious landslide for their diverse skillset and professionalism.Apollo Energys installation team demonstrated exceptional service from the outset. Their precision and efficiency during the installation process showcased a level of expertise that surpasses many in the field. David and the rest of the Apollo crew were great on our project. It wasnt something they had done before but they stepped up and knocked it out of the park. They helped install the first floating solar array in Utah! Every team member I have interacted with was professional, courteous and conscientious. I have no problem recommending them for any scale of project you might have.

Apollo installed solar panels and a 240v EV charger outlet at my home, and updated my electric panel. They were 4k less than the highest bid, which had a similar configuration, and were about 6k higher than the low bid company who didnt know what they were doing. While Apollo was working, a state official came by and asked to see their licenses...the official said that there are many fly-by-night companies that take advantage of customers, but that Apollo clearly knew what they were doing.What went well: The solar system and EV charging outlet is working well, the updated electrical panel is organized and labeled well. When a new exterior outlet wasnt working, they came back and replaced the faulty outlet. They sent an engineer to look at my home for the initial design. Dillon and the panel install team worked quickly and well. I enjoyed seeing their teamwork and how the more experienced employees trained the new ones.What could be improved: Two months before the install, they told me the week they would be here, but didnt communicate after that. I got an out-of-office greeting when I tried to confirm the week before, so was a surprised when they knocked on our door at 7:30am on the Monday of the install week, which caused my tenants to complain about the lack of notice.They needed to cut a hole in my garage ceiling to pull a cable through for a separate garage electric panel, and didnt close it when they finished the job. They did come later, at my request to close it.They installed the solar panels the week of August 5, but we couldnt turn them on until August 29 because of them initially failing the Murray City inspection (due to a paperwork problem) and problems paying Murray City for the two-way meter. I wish I had paid Apollo half when they finished the install and half when the system was turned on, instead of paying them in full after the install, so they would have pushed a little harder to get the system turned on sooner. I could see that Apollo was really busy juggling the needs of many clients.After the upgraded electric panel was installed, the fridge didnt come back on. Dillon and David troubleshot that the breaker switch the fridge was connected to was faulty, and replaced that. For several hours, it appeared that the faulty breaker switch fried the electrical components of the fridge display, but it reset itself overnight and the fridge worked normally after that.Considering everything, I would hire them again. Im pleased with my system.Edit (three months after install on 11/14/2024):1 month in: I found shingles on the ground. Cody investigated with a drone and didnt find any areas that could cause a roof leak, suggesting the installers just missed throwing the shingle in the trash when they cut it out for the install.2 months in: the app stopped showing my energy production and consumption. The solar panel provider (Enphase) said the meters Apollo installed were not functioning. I emailed Cody but havent heard back.2.5 months in: my tenants complain that one of the bathrooms regularly smells like sewer. My handyman says it may be due to the roof vent to it being blocked, and pointed out that the roof vent was right next to the solar panels and possibly some debris entered during the install process. I emailed Cody to see if he could check with his drone camera, but havent heard back.3 months in: my fridges electronic control panel died. The repairman said the main board failure could be related to damage from the initial faulty breaker switch installed by Apollo. Landon from Apollo thought they werent related and the failure was due to the 12-year age of my fridge. Neither of us knows for sure, and the conversation was very disagreeable. I felt Landon misrepresented what happened on install day as we tried to discuss. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

Had the opportunity to work with the Apollo Energy Team for a Floating Solar project in Summit County. Apollo was fantastic to work with and really made life easy.I work as a Project Manager for a General Contractor and baby sitting is unfortunately part of the job when it comes to Construction in today’s age. With Apollo they take pride in their work, have knowledgeable supervision and training that made my life very easy from a management perspective.Highly recommend them for any work, residential or commercial.

I was referred to Landon at Apollo Solar to see why my solar panels were no longer generating any power. The company that placed them six years ago, went bankrupt and left me holding the bag with no follow up care or information. I talked with Landon on the phone and he was very friendly and helpful. We got on FaceTime and he quickly was able to diagnose the problem and help to reset my system. He solved my problem for no charge and was very knowledgeable and efficient. I am happy to say I signed up for a regular monitoring service and a solar expert on my team.

From the first Hello to the final handshake and Thank You, our experience having Apollo Energy take care of the Solar Energy installation on our home was First Class all-the-way. We did have to wait quite a while, but waiting for the best is worth-the-wait. We investigated and talked with several other highly regarded providers, and it was not an easy decision to make between the last three of them, especially the last two, as they all seemed so excellent in both their products and presentations. But Apollo had more options and solutions to unique challenges presented by our personal situation, an incredibly knowledgeable, creative and enthusiastic team who were patient with our questions and clear with their explanations. When our time had come and they arrived for the installation, it was almost like a scene from a Super-Hero Movie, and in 2 1/2 days we were done, on solar energy and only on the grid when we choose to be. Apollo Energy also has no business ties with our behemoth power provider, so we were their only customer at our address.They exhibited amazing command of the tasks for which each team member was responsible, and complete professionalism displayed with natural cheerfulness and optimism that was a delight to experience, and which inspired confidence in the ultimate outcome. Apollo Energy showed up first thing in the morning on the day the installation was scheduled. David & Dillon were very professional in there interactions with me as well as their workmanship. David is a Master Electrician and Dillon is a Journeyman electrician. Their workmanship showed that they knew their craft well and they cared about how their work reflects on them. I was amazed at how quickly the installation was completed. The installation was professional at every level. In my mind it was a difficult location for the inverter & battery, because of the distance the solar panel wires and grid wires had to be routed through a very small crawlspace above the garage. They had to turn off the house electricity for only a short time, which was an unexpected plus for me. I thought it would be much longer.These guys are not only professional electricians; they *know* Solar. All of my questions were answered, and I was left with high confidence that Apollo had sold me the system that was perfect for my situation. There was a small hiccup in the equipment a few days after the installation, but that was a manufacturer issue. The issue did not affect my solar generation; it only affected the charging of the battery. Apollo Energy worked with the manufacturer and got the problem taken care of immediately. I am very happy with the experience, and extremely happy with my system now. I highly recommend Apollo energy and the Lion Energy Sanctuary system which is sold and supported by a company right here in Utah.

The system is working well.When an issue arose after installation, David and Dillon came right over and diagnosed it, and even though it turned out to not be related to their work, they still applied a temporary fix and recommended someone for a permanent one. Highly recommend. I plan to hire Apollo again to install a system in my cabin.

I can’t say enough good things about the team at Apollo. After 3 other quotes for solar, their professionalism and knowledge set them above, and their package and pricing was really impressive. We have an odd roof and when it came to design and implementation they were able to get more panels installed than we expected and really helped with our electrical offset. The installers were very conscientious and protective of our roof and even fixed a few issues above and beyond when they noticed them. They have answered every call for questions and concerns, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I worked through Project Solar and they contracted Apollo Energy to install our Solar system. From the moment Dillon, Trey, and Tommie showed up I was impressed I have never seen a more cheerful and professional installation company. They were fantastic! After they finished their attic work, they even re-fluffed the insulation and vacuumed the carpet under the attic access to leave things spotless. They were amazing to work with from start to finish. There was no sales pressure and Cooper was very respectful of our time...his visits were short and to the point. When we started discussions with them we didnt think it was going to work out for us, but they took care of everything! Including finding a roofing contractor for us, they arranged for bids and let us ultimately decide who would do the project. Our home is older and there were several missing shingles and some damage that had to be repaired before the solar installation could begin. There was also a lot of paperwork involved with permits and coordination with the Power company - they handled it all and kept us in the loop throughout the process. They would call periodically to keep us updated on progress regarding permits and inspections. My husband has wanted to go solar for years and thanks to Apollo Energy we were able to do it! Thank you Cooper, Leilani and Landon it was truly a pleasure working with you all!,Highly Recommend them to anyone interested in solar energy! If you are thinking about it, give them a call. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this company and our solar panels. I can honestly say that we looked at a few other solar jobs and the quality of ours compared to the others is hands down superior.I used to have to budget $200.-$500 monthly for our power bills. Since the panels were installed my highest bill has been $18.00.Their salesman was very knowledgeable on how to size our system and what would fit on our house with the appropriate sun exposure.I HIGHLY recommend giving these guys a call if your considering solar panels.

My wife and I bought an old, poorly insulated, very energy inefficient house last July. After seeing our energy bills through the summer and winter, and feeling how uncomfortable our home was even with the amount of energy we were using, we decided we needed to make some upgrades.We decided to get a highly efficient heat pump for heating and cooling the home in combination with solar.We originally tried to get solar through another company, and had a really terrible experience that involved poor communication, a very poor/high price for what we were getting, and extremely slow progress through the system.After months of following up and seeing little to no progress, we decided we’d bite the bullet of the cancellation fee and go with someone else.We decided to use Solar Sage (highly recommend!) to get multiple bids and see what the best option for us was. We ended up choosing Apollo because of the combination of high quality equipment, a competitive price, and good reviews. Our experience was amazing! Cody, our sales rep, did a great job of explaining everything and handling our questions and concerns. The price was very competitive for what we got, the communication was great, and everything was done quickly. There was a problem with one string of panels not producing power after install, but as soon as I caught it and notified them, they sent someone out and fixed the problem very quickly!Right now things are looking very good in terms of our production and consumption. We are currently producing significantly more than we use and our house is far more comfortable and affordable with the combination of our heat pump and solar panels. While I don’t know exactly if we will produce enough excess through the summer to cover winter usage, things are looking good. I can’t find the original projections from Apollo for how much our system would generate, but it seems like we are at or above those projections.Overall, I would highly recommend Apollo! We’ve been very happy with our service and hope to have them do some home batteries for us in the future!

Fantastic solar company, The system makes sense and works. They were not the cheapest by sticker but they were the only ones that offered a system that would output power as advertised. Given the horror stories out there I was very cautious about getting solar and this company gets an A+ on working with you to make sure your comfortable. The process was long (took about 4 months) but every interaction I had with them from first contact to turning the system on was courteous and comfortable. Apollo sent a crew to our very remote location and very efficiently and professionally installed a small system on a cabin and a large system for our forever home. We have NEVER dealt with such a great HONEST company, in these days us consumers need more companies like Apollo they were not out to milk us for a ton of money knowing a majority of us people don’t know how to repair solar systems.We had an issue with our solar and I called around and finally received a personal experience from Apollo, immediately they started helping me trying to troubleshoot over the phone “because if the issue was solved over the phone then they didn’t have to come out and charge us” they done everything they could to get it resolved not just on the first initial call but over text, when I say they did everything they could to not charge us they really did.They did end up having to come out but with all the help and time they spent I was expecting and worried about the bill and I tell you it was super affordable and I am very thankful for that cause we had a lot hit us at one time recently.The technician who came out was super friendly, knowledgeable and fast.Keep up the great work Apollo maybe all these other companies will get word how a company is supposed to be ran!! Great Experience!Knowing how much I am grateful for reviews I felt I needed to submit my great experience with Apollo Energy. My project was small: to upgrade my Solaredge inverter communication since the old 2G cellular method was being discontinued. I decided to have direct ethernet cable to my modem/router installed. Cody and Landen were both informative. I was a little leery of the sales pitch to get an Apollo+ subscription (renewable every year) since my project was small, but in the end the discounts, years in business and service relationship won me over. David the master electrician was able to come out the next day. He was very professional and found a way to use existing wiring, except a small piece between the inverter and the phone utility box (I have DSL as my internet service) instead of having to run new lengths of cable which would mean breaking into walls. Davids technical expertise and answers to my many questions were much appreciated. Im glad I went with Apollo Energy and expect to work with them for years going forward.

I chose Apollo Energy to design and install solar panels and battery backup due to the companies stellar reviews and i was not disappointed. Cody came out to my home and answered all of my numerous questions and came back with several designs and quality battery options. Jake, David and Dillon contacted me about design options and their engineering designs and were all involved in the main installation. Dillon especially stood out as one of the brightest hard working craftsman that I have ever had the privilege to meet. He was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and took extreme pride in his work in every part of the installation, especially in replacing a potentially dangerous old Federal in home circuit braker box. which Jake had recommended be replaced. I could not be more satisfied with the quality, design and installation of the Generac solar system and everyone at Apollo Energy. Rachel, account manager also kept me updated on the progress of the permits being submitted and waiting approval from Weber County and Rocky Mountain Power.

I had Apollo Energy install a solar system in August 2020. I have had good production and no problems. I had a couple of January and February days that almost did as well as on this March 21st day 2021. The panels are rated at 310 watts, but today at 12:29:20 each panel was producing almost 327 watts which is 105% of rated capacity. It did not last long as it was a cloudy day, but interesting production. I am happy with my system and thank you for your service and the professional way the system was installed and set up and it works very well.
