Called and spoke to Kelly about a clogged basement laundry sink after painter had cleaned their painting tools in our Laundry sink. They came recommended by an appliance repairman Tom who had used Ed Dickson Bros Plumbing (he sold their company to Bills Plumbjng in summer of 2024). I was able to get a next day afternoon service and was quoted a fair $195 for first 45 minutes ($90 visit fee plus 45 Min at $105 which is $35 for each 15 minutes) which very reasonable compared to other quotes I got.Kurt and Luis arrived promptly on time after getting a text that they were on the way -- I called the office and Kelly confirmed where they were coming from which was nice. They efficiently took care of removing our old metal pipe, then rodded the line which had a tricky bend, and then replaced with PVC and even included an access cover upon my request.Kurt was an expert and very courteous as well as Luis! They even took off their shoes since it was a little wet outside which was not expected but appreciated. Bill is very fortunate to employ such kind and professional plumbers!!

Bill’s Plumbing has been our “go-to” company for all things plumbing. They maintain our outdoor flood control each year in Spring efficiently and affordably. These guys amaze us at their knowledge and skills. Today Kurt O. and Louis came out to free up our bathtub drainage. They did a thorough assessment and drew up a plan. Within a few minutes the water was freely flowing again. They were considerate of our space and seriously very minimal evidence they were even here aka no mess. Pricing is exceptionally reasonable and scheduling was a breeze. We highly recommend Bill’s Plumbing services. Thank you.

Jimmy & his crew arrived within 30 minutes of our call. They put cloth down on our floors when they brought in their equipment. They explained the problem & cleaned out our sewer. We used Bills for the 1st time on the recommendation of a neighbor. They did a lead service line replacement for us. When we had 3 estimates done, we liked them the best and their price seemed fair. They really did a great job and coordinated well with our towns water department. The only issue we had was a lack of communication from Bills the week of, the day before, and the day of the work. We had to call them to find out the date they were coming. Then they arrived 3 hours earlier than they told us so we had to rush to get ready. They didnt explain the work they were doing inside our house (new water meter, etc.). Even with these issue, we would certainly recommend them.

I’ve been using Bill’s Plumbing for my business for the past 15+ years. I have always been completely satisfied with their work. Every tech has been very polite and communicative. This is my second review of Bills plumbing. James came out for a preliminary inspection the day before I was to have a new waterline put in. I ended up hiring him to do a full rodding from my backyard to the street. His work was outstanding. He explained everything to me before he did the work and quoted me the price. He was extremely professional, and polite. If I could I would give James 10 stars.The Village of Skokie hired Bills plumbing to put in the new waterline. It was a very difficult job that they did the work masterfully. I give them 10 stars as well. I will definitely use this company again. I highly recommend them

These guys are amazing. First time home owners were looking for a company that could take care of some excavation and main line replacement as well as some odd jobs in the house fixing drainage, replacing shower pipe fittings, etc. We got a lot of bad estimates and tried with a couple dodgy contractors and were feeling defeated until we found Bill’s plumbing who had a team to do the outside work at our house the day after we paid the deposit on a very fair estimate. They had it done by lunch. Had everything on the inside done in an hour or so next day as well. Unbelievable timeliness and the technicians went above and beyond the scope of work they came to do to help us out. Since moving into an aging house last year, we have called upon Bills Plumbing numerous times for service ranging from clogged drains and sewer lines to old pipe removal, repairing leaking sinks, replacing a faucet with hose, and installing a replacement shower system. They make a point of sending the same plumber when possible, and Kurt O. impressed me by remembering details of the underground sewer configuration and other problems he has dealt with here in the past. He and the other plumbers have been persistent in working on a problem until a solution is found, without charging an extra service call when returning on the same issue. When I insisted that they install a brand of shower system that was less familiar to them, Bill the boss came to install it himself, easily, efficiently, and neatly. Best of all, their response time to a request is remarkably fast, usually within a day or two with apologies if not the same day.

I have been very pleased by my experience with the team at Bills from the office people, billing, to the team who quoted me and did the work. I had a Flood system put in, after my house flooded for the 6th time! finally, so, they were prompt in coming out to assess, an excellent quote and this was in the time of covid a few months after the lockdowns. They came out a second time, at no additional expense to verify something which I needed to check, plus they obtained the permit from the city. Very respectful, hygienic(masks) and courteous. They had a team of 6 men, who worked in harmony and 4 dirt trucks to haul away, the entire job was done. In. one. day. no dilly dallying. They coordinated with the electrical company who gave me a great price ( necessary work) who installed the battery, and electricity for the new line to my box. they kept things tidy, cleaned up, and finished over the landscaping that had been dug. Since then heavy rains dont make me anxious and they have a plan to notify me for biannual maintenance of the installation so its always at the ready. I highly recommend working with them on any project!

My business had raw sewage coming up from the three floor drains. They were able to rearrange and have someone out to my store within a couple of hours. The building is a very large so they had to rod about 600 to the end of the plaza. While it took a bit to do so, they had my restrooms back up in a couple of hours. Feminine hygiene products will get you. Bill made a great suggestion to my manager about filling up the slop sink daily and then releasing the water to help push discharge further down the sewer pipe. They cleaned up the restrooms pretty well for tradesmen. Ive used them for years on repairs and on the construction side of my business as well. I wholeheartedly recommend Bills Plumbing Services. .

I had been hesitant to hire a professional plumber after past experiences with other plumbing contractors that charged fee, on top of fee. This time I reluctantly came to realize, I needed to bring in a professional. Saul and his partner, came in, diagnosed the problem, repaired it and left, all very quickly and professionally. Later that day I came to realize, that I had a 2nd, previously unknown, undiagnosed, problem. So, I called Bills Plumbing for a 2nd time that same afternoon. This time, Saul, his partner, and a 3rd technician, James, came right out, quickly got to work to diagnose the problem, explain the problem, come up with a solution, and fix it. Quickly, cleanly, and professionally. In both instances, the final invoice for all of their work was lower than I had anticipated. 6/3/2022A recent update since I first left the review, Bills came out to do a sewer repair for me. Pete, Jose, and Steve were absolutely amazing. They were so kind to me and took the time to explain the work and what was to be done throughout the course of the day. Pete is pretty much the reason I went with Bills on this job anyways. When I first spoke with him about the estimate, he was incredibly helpful and generous with his knowledge. He only got better from there taking the time to make sure our house was cared for. I am so grateful for him and the team.6/1/2022I had a high stress emergency situation where water was coming from the ceiling. My husband was out of town and I had a 6 month old and dog to keep occupied. I called Bills and within 30 minutes, someone was at the house.I just wanted to give Kurt a warm thank you. He made a highly stressful situation manageable. He was calm, fair, communicated well and I am so grateful it was him that was sent to the house.
