Teasha was the Tech who came out to do the maintenance service my furnace. I had bever used this company before, but after receiving a mailer with a tuneup coupon, I read reviews and decided to try them. They come when they say they will and you get a text with the Techs picture when they are in route. Tasha is honest and thorough and takes pictures inside the furnace to educate and explain the condition of the furnace. She offered and explained the one year contract with zero pressure. Ironically, my water heater quit working the very morning they came out to do the furnace maintenance. I told her about it. She showed me where the error alert is. Offered to call to their plumber, if I needed one. I called the company who installed the water heater in 2020, but their plumber retired, so I went with Kendall at Utahs Best Home Pros. He came out the next day. Honored the warranty for the parts that needed to be replaced and he ordered the parts. He is coming back in 3 days when the parts come in. I found Kendall also to be very honest. He was able to get the pilot light lit at no charge and told me if it goes out again before he replaces the parts to call and he will swing by and light it again to get us by and keep us with hot water until the parts come in. Kendall explained more about the contracts without any pressure. The yearly contract is low and includes a yearly furnace tune up, ac tune up, water tank draining and boiler maintenance for people with boilers. It gives you a 10% discount on other services. The contract price is low, so I am going to buy it with confidence. The only amout I will be paying above the contract price, is the labor to installed the warrantied parts.

Nate came and installed a new furnace for me in Layton. He was very professional and got the job done in a timely manner.A couple things I wish were different.. that I didn’t have to have 3 different people from the company to come in and do different aspects of the job.Yesterday at noon, service guy Randy came to see what the problem is. Figured out the problem and that I needed an expensive part or a new furnace. We asked for a price quote on the furnace and he isn’t able to give that.. someone else would have to come out to do that…Yesterday at 4pm, John came by to give me a quote on a furnace.Today at 9am, Nate came with the furnace to install.Just a little frustrating that the service guy couldn’t give me the quote.Other than that feedback, I am a happy customer

This is a fantastic company, they were very quick to get me my bid, and to get to work on the complete rewire of my home. CJ, and Cole are very hard workers, and we’re both very respectful toward me, I can honestly say, they both found a forever friend in me. Devin came out and serviced us same day over the weekend when we had water coming up in our shower and toilets. There was a ton of roots in our main sewer line and he helped guide us along as he trouble shot the problem. He was clean, friendly, and fast. Couldnt recommend them enough. Utah Home Pros was the only one that didn’t try to upsell me on a very expensive system, and Utah Home Pros was 1k less expensive on equivalent model air conditioner as the other companies. Our AC unit went out this last week. We called Utahs Best Home Pros with the season being very busy they were still able to get us a same day appointment. Brayden showed up and checked everything out. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He gave us several options to get us back up and running again and was not trying to push us into anything. With the age of our system we decided to go with a full replacement vs bandaging our current system. We were able to get on their schedule within a couple of days and the company gave us some portable AC units to use to keep us comfortable in the meantime. Our installers were Mason and Austin who did a tremendous job they were very professional and walked us through the whole process. They had us back up and running with updated equipment and cool air flowing. After a week Chris came by and ensured that everything was operating smoothly and answered any of our lingering questions. Fantastic company to work with highly recommended if we run into any problems in the future we will be giving them a call.

Randy came out to assess my unit which was not blowing cold air. Diagnosed the issue in minutes, and had a new capacitor in place just as quick.What was great is he was willing to answer all my questions very thoroughly, as well as he spoke through his process as he worked so I was able to follow along.He also spent some time to evaluate the wiring harnesses on the inside unit to ensure the fans were blowing at their proper speeds. He was able to make some needed edits that created more power and efficiency. Great experience from start to finish!!

Kendall Bradford is very congenial to work with. He very quickly and rightfully discovered the problem with our water softener and reset the timer so the process would not be disturbing. He then checked the water softness in cold and hot water. There is no need to change the softener to be for cold and hot water. He did that to save us, as a customer, to save us money. Which is very much appreciated. I would recommend him in a heartbeat!

I got quotes from 5 different companies for a new furnace and AC unit, and made the decision to move forward with Utahs Best Heating & Air. I chose them because I felt they gave the best technical evaluation of problems and solutions for the best price. In fact, out of the 5 companies, they were the only one to suggest adding a duct to better circulate air throughout my 3 story house and specifically mentioned the regulations they follow to put my AC up to legal code. I had to bring it up to other companies before they agreed and talked about it.Price-wise, they were the best. Other companies could have done it for less, but would have used lower quality of products such as goodman and amana. I did my own research and found Rheem to be much more satisfactory. Utahs Best also has a better warranty and service agreement, offering 10 years of labor warranty if you hire them to maintain it twice a year, or 5 years of labor warranty if you dont have them maintain it.Installation went very well, and Im very happy that they were able to install it the very next day even on a short notice. Mechanics were friendly and answered any questions I had. I appreciate that they vacuumed after they were done, but they still left trash and insulation lying around. Not a big deal tho.Overall, Im very happy and will reach out to them first next time I need AC again.

Randy took care of our AC today, and he was the perfect tech for our house because we like to ask questions and be taught, and Randy said he was trained to educate the client on how the systems work. A lot of companies Ive worked with in the past train their technicians to get in and out as fast as possible, but Utahs Best Home Pros is not this way. I would guess weve had about 8 of their technicians over to our house, 3 of those visits were for emergent issues with the AC dying, and the other 4 were for AC & furnace tune-ups, cleaning out the duct work after we first moved in (from the new construction dust), plumbing work/plumbing inspection, and then to have the electrical finished in the basement. Utahs Best has been taking care of our house since we built it 4 1/2 years ago, and I love it when the HVAC technicians go through the steps of how they would have installed both our duct work and the entire HVAC system itself for it to be more efficient for our tall house. Randy even updated the way our filter sits inside the return duct so that its less restrictive on the air flow. What this tell us as the customer is Utahs Best will be the company replacing our system whenever it dies, which wont be in the near future because theyve modified our system to work so efficiently.All their technicians do everything by the book, they care about quality, and theyve never given me the feeling that theyre burned out or having a hard day, even if they just came to visit our house following a job that was difficult, which I know can happen working in the field because I was a facilities manager for 13 years. So this is something I appreciate with having good technicians.At the close of our visit today, after Randy had taken payment, he said, Are there any follow-up questions you have for me? Im always happy to help. I thanked him up and down for his quality and how picky he was at making sure the job was done right. How can you beat that?There are a few types of professionals every person needs to have. A car mechanic, a tax accountant, a plumber, an electrician, and an HVAC journeyman technician. Utahs Best fulfills the last three of those. If you use Utahs Best, youll never look anywhere else.

The experience I had with Utah’s Best Home Pros was exceptional. The people were pleasant and professional from the person who took my call to the installation technicians. Nigel was intuitive with the appraisal and I was supposed with all of the work and accessories included in the installation. Isaac and Mason installed the furnace and did a fantastic job. It is inconceivable for me to think about the train wreck I had before.I am a service technician in a different industry and I see furnaces in many homes since the furnace room is the utility area of most homes. My new furnace installation looks better than what I see in a majority of homes, including new ones. The well reviewed Rheem has a high quality fit and finish. I expect many years of service.I found the experience of trying to shop for a new furnace stressful because of the multitude of companies combined with various furnace brand choices. This company took care of all the details and just made the whole transaction work flawlessly at a great price. Save yourself some frustration and let these guys take care of you.

We used Utahs Best Home Pros for an unplanned furnace replacement this week and had a great experience. We’ve lived in and loved our Kaysville house for the last 10 years with one exception – the heating/ac system. I won’t bore you with details – but after having 3 different installers from local companies to friends of friends do installs – none of the underlying issues were ever solved/addressed. Even on new equipment we would experience failures of the furnace in the winter and ac icing up issues in the peak of summer. I have spent more time than I would like to admit troubleshooting, fixing, and fighting to keep the system working let alone the house comfortable.After we discovered an unfixable issue with the heat exchanger during this last failure – we decided to look at alternatives to previous vendors to both help with the system replacement but help us solve what’s leading to the failures. Lucky for us – we called Utah’s Best Home Pros and Chris was available to come right down.Within a few hours Chris had arrived at our house and started diagnosing what some of those underlying issues could be. First – the make/model of our existing furnace was known to be on the lower end of performance. Second – the configuration of the air return was restricting airflow through the unit along with the filter placement allowing unwanted dust/debris to make it into the coil further restricting airflow. Rather than look at this as just a furnace replacement he outlined the additional steps he would take – adjusting the unit position so a second return air feed could be added to increase the airflow capacity. Changing the placement of the filters so it would be accessed outside the unit to fully force the air (and any debris) through the filters to protect the coil. Installing a variable speed unit to optimize the effort/airflow throughout the house to solve some of the temperature variances that we were seeing across floors/rooms. While historically we had been focused on cost for this type of work – we really felt and trusted we were going to get a much better value from the Utah’s Best Home Pros team if what Chris had suggested was true and could be fixed.The next day his crew came out and they were awesome. Super friendly and responsive and any/all questions, very attentive to how the system needed to work and even noticed some non-ac safety issues in our furnace room that they addressed while they were here. When completed they spent time walking me through the system as well as doing a very thorough cleanup of their area. As they dug into the install - many of the things Chris had expected to see as issues were confirmed. The coil was absolutely clogged with debris due to the filter placement/housing of the old unit.While weve only had the system a few days, the immediate difference in our houses environmental performance was apparent the first time they turned the unit on and we could hear the airflow. Dormant vents now alive with pressure immediately increased our optimism in the value we received. Using my smart home data, I was able to prove Chris’s hypothesis (see attached pic). First – you’ll see that before/after our old furnace ran 100% between 10PM-8AM at a 74-degree setting. The new unit, in lower outside temp conditions was roughly operating for 47% of that same period. Room sensors that had a spread of 8 degrees while heating all night using the old furnace, now pulled to within 1-2 degrees of each other making the house feel more cohesive and comfortable across floors and rooms. There is more to learn as we approach summer, but at this point I’d say that while you may find cheaper solutions out there – you be hard pressed to get better value than what we experienced with Chris and the Utahs Best Home Pros team.

I had a great experience with Utahs Best Heating and Air! When they came out for the consult, they answered every question I possibly had, which was a lot. Shawn sure knows his stuff and was extremely nice and patient.The installers, Isaac & Tavis, were amazing! Weve used Utahs Best Home Pros for years and they have always been professional, courteous and honest. We just had an instance where our furnace suddenly stopped blowing warm air and they were on it right away. My parents AC system wasnt cooling on Friday. I had placed a call to a different company in the area but didnt reach anyone yet. I found this place by chance and called, spoke to a wonderful lady named Dawn. She was very professional and pleasant from the start! I told her I lived out of state in NJ. She was very helpful. She booked a service call for Sunday , called me personally to let me know tech Chris was on his way. He showed up a few hours early, which was fantastic for 2 elderly couple. The news wasnt great, however, the information he provided them was up front about their heating and cooling system and that the previous company who installed it, didnt do a good job due to the amount of rust that he found and system wasnt that old. He got their AC system to run and now their home is cold again! Customer service is everything and great technicians are a must! I am so very pleased with the company from start to finish! Our AC stopped working during the recent heat wave. Chris came and took a look at our system and quickly diagnosed the issue. We decided to replace our HVAC system and upgrade to a more energy efficient system. Chris provided us with several potential options and explained the features and costs of each. We scheduled the installation for the following week. Chris went out of his way to get us a portable AC to use until the installers could come. The following Monday morning Lyle and Justin arrived and worked for over 10 hours to complete the installation. We love our new system! Its quiet and the smart thermostat has great features. My job required an electrical panel change out and grounding rod install, the master electrician Devan and his colleague Cole did a top notch, safe, professional, clean job. The HVAC system installers, Austin and Tavis, were on time, respectful, professional, safe, clean, and performed the work correctly which is important to me.A member of this household has a medical disability that required the install of this equipment. They took this health need extremely seriously, took all necessary safety procedures when working in the home. This was not the case with every company I put a bid in with.Ultimately, is there a cheaper company you could go with? Probably. But you get what you pay for--why would you invest in your home with inferior service and installation that will cause you major problems down the road? I feel confident in the product and service I received because I know the employees did it correctly and safely. I will use this company again and again, I cannot recommend highly enough.

I would give 6 stars if I could. Excellent company, service and staff. We had a new A/C installed, upgraded our ducting, and had full cleaning and sterilizing of existing duct work. Shawn was awesome to work with on mapping out our system needs and making sure everything exceeded our expectations. Travis and Tristan were great to work with on installation, professional and very courteous of our home and time. Cole did a great job with cleaning and sterilizing our ducting and making sure the small details like sealing vents were handled. We were quoted a great price upfront and even though there were several unpredictable expensive issues that arose during installation, including total electrical box rewiring and a full new intake system as ours was insufficient, we were never asked to pay more than the original quote price for anything. I called on a Sunday to schedule an appointment to have my heater repaired. They actually answered the phone and sent a tech out that day at no extra after hours charge. They sent a text message with a picture attached of the tech that would be coming. Chris was prompt and professional. He had to come back the next day with a second certified tech to check components on the furnace to confirm it could not be repaired. He went over options for a new unit with material and labor cost. He was able to schedule install for the following day which was amazing since I hadn’t had heat yet. Mason and Austin arrived early the next morning to install the new unit. They were very courteous and informative, completing the job in the same day. They even made sure a gas wall heater in the garage was working. I originally called Just Right Heating because my heat kept going on and off, they came to do an inspection and ended up shutting the furnace down because it was a risk to keep running it, then told me they were out a week for replacements and that I might want to get a couple heaters (this was in January and very cold).I called around to see if I could get it replaced sooner, and as soon as Utahs Best showed up, I felt like they truly cared. The inspector brought me in two heaters before they even knew they had the job and had a replacement ready to be installed the next day. The price was better than anywhere else, and their service was done with a smile. The two installers worked a really long day in order to get the furnace running for me that night, when they could have easily told me they needed another day instead.Highly recommend!

Utahs Best is actually just that. Chris came and looked at my system which got knocked out by a power surge after the crazy windstorm in September. I had to have both of my heating units replaced because of the damage.They didnt charge for coming to look and giving me an estimate, so I went ahead with the installation. There was a mixup with the installation date, and it caught me at a rough week and Chris could tell I was frustrated. He got it figured out but when they came to do the install, the hole in my ceiling wasnt big enough to put a heating unit through it. That required a contractor, but I said I would just close the whole up myself to safe a buck. Chris agreed but then a bit later he called and said that hewould take care of the contractor finishing up the hole in my ceiling! I hung up and cried because it was just the kind of good news I needed at the time.Great service, cleaned everything up before leaving, units are good quality and I am so happy with the way things went. Theyve been understanding as my insurance took longer than anticipated to come through with the payments. All around a great experience, which is saying something considering it involved the install of two new heating units! Excellent company.

These guy are incredible to work with, I would recommend them every time. My A/C started going out during the hottest weeks in August. I called several companies and Chris and Brayden were eager to come out on a Saturday and had the best prices. They managed to get it up and running. I had an old unit, 15+ years. A day later the A/C was down again they came out on Sunday free of charge. It turned out i had some restrictions in the radiator, they washed out the unit and i was running again. Because my unit was so old, and likely the prior owners never serviced it, the washing exposed the age of my radiator and the thing started to crumble. When i reached out to Chris we discussed it and he offered to replace the radiator even though it likely was just bad timing, in the end i chose to replace the A/C unit with them. He worked with me on price and had the job done and my house cool before my family was home for the evening. These are guys you can respect, they are fair, reasonable, and timely. My House has been cool ever since and they came by and made sure i was set for winter as well. You will not have a bad experience with Utahs Best.

Had such a great experience with this company! Great customer service from the first phone call to the final payment. They explained what was wrong with the furnace and gave me several price options. I cannot speak highly enough of these guys. I called at 9am with an emergency, (furnace went out in my house with my 4 month old coming home that afternoon), so we set an appointment for between 12 and 2. The technician (Brayden) beat me to my house promptly at 12, friendly as can be, incredibly respectful of the home (covered shoes, careful bringing tools in) and immediately went to work diagnosing the problem. Had it figured out super quick and called Chris (Owner) to give me some options. Chris drove across the county to come personally give me every option imaginable both technically and financially which was great. At no point was I ever up-sold or made to feel as if I had to spend the most amount of money possible. While we’re going over options my old furnace is almost ready to come out. We figured out what I wanted and the guys went to work. The professionalism and hard work they put in had a new furnace and thermostat up and running before the sun went down. Chris also made sure I had every rebate possible for the equipment I purchased from the gas/power companies which saved a ton of money, also taking note that my Wife and I are both Veterans, and applied a great discount accompanying that. Being a first time fairly new home owner is a daunting experience on its own, but when your AC stops working, it adds a whole new level. Utah’s Best Home Pros took care of that. Jordan was absolutely awesome to work with. Chris showed up to my house and found a bad capacitor which I suspected to be after doing my own due diligence of checking and double Checking for frozen lines also the inside unit Itself , plugged drain pan,Tripped breaker and Dirty filters and didn’t see anything at all. Last year my air conditioner stopped blowing cold air and because of their ratings, I called Utahs Best and Im glad I did. Chris came out quickly, and serviced both the condenser and outside unit and informed me that my system was not nearly large enough for my square footage, but did not press the issue. (I vaguely remember him saying, with a smirk on his face, see ya next year). The unit worked ok for a while but the same problem happened again this year. I didnt hesitate for a second, and again Chris came out to service it. It was determined that I had a a leak that couldnt be located and pointed out the less than excellent work that had been done on the original install. Needless to say, I purchased the proper sized unit for my home and I couldnt be happier with the results. Chris and his team of professionals are honest, down to earth and a pleasure to do business with.

It took him 15 minutes to troubleshoot the problem, find the part and install. The price was very reasonable. I had called several other HVAC repair places. Back in March, Evan and Brayden installed 2 new furnaces for us after our house flooded and both of our furnaces were destroyed. On one of the new furnaces we were going from a 80% to a 96% and due to the location of the furnaces the install job got very complicated and time consuming.They worked long hours to get the furnaces up and running. They provided valuable advice along the way. We were very pleased with how easy they were to work with and the great job they did that we had them back to put in 2 new AC units. They are willing to put in long hours to get things up and running and do not take shortcuts on their work. We are once again very happy with the end product and working with them was very easy. We will use them again in the future.

Utahs Best Heating & Air , I called on a Saturday and they had a technician out to my home in about three hours. They the technician Brayden and Isaac were very knowledgable and proffesional. I was really impressed that Isaac suggested something really easy to fix to see if it would work. They had to get a part so they left us with three space heaters to heat our house. This was very good because our house was 55 degrees. Unfortunately the mother board had to be replaced in our furnace but I was charged a reasonable and fair price. Cant say enough great things about this company and the way they care about their customers. We were treated like we were family. Professional, reliable, honest, fair and treated like we were family. The following day they came right out and replaced the transformer. Brayden was excellent!! So fast and friendly! He was great!!

I’m a disabled veteran and had my 20 year HVAC replaced back in April and AC worked great all summer long. With the cold weather I turned the heater on already and noticed a water leak. Called the shop and Chris was sent out within a few hours to troubleshoot. Gave me his opinion and was gonna try and squeeze me in within this week. Left me some floor heaters and came back the next morning with Isaac and Austin. That crew was professional and courteous. Showed up early found the problem fixed on the spot and cleaned whatever mess they made. Also answered questions I had to a water heater issue and pros and cons to tankless water heater. If you get any of these gentlemen on your job believe me that you’re in good hands. Would most definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Utah heating and air is the best HVAC company around. They truly live up to their name. Not only are they highly competent, they are genuinely good and responsive human beings. My AC broke and they were there within 24 hours to fix it. Everything from the diagnosis to the repair was done same day within an hour. The best part of my story comes a few days later when the AC broke again. I was angry thinking that I had been hustled. They sent the technician out again, and we found that it was an unrelated issue. Not only did he fix that one too, he didnt charge anything except wholesale for the part, taking complete ownership of the issue. I highly recommend this company and will definately use them in the future. Do yourself a favor and pick them for your needs as well.

Hands down the best Ive ever received in my home. They do their job in a very professional way and tell you everything as they move along throughout the works theyve done or will perform soon. I was lucky to recieve Chris first! He spent a good 40 minutes fixing several things and trying to figure out why my control board is not cooperating with the thermostat and while doing all that he kept showing me everything and breaking a few things down for my no understanding furnace self. Haha very patient and was committed to get my house heated for the night until the next day his guys Nigel and Zack came in and installed my new furnace. Nigel and Zack are super cool and fun to interact with. You just got be kind and welcoming and before you know it feels like youve known these guys for years! At the end of summer, we moved to a new house where our AC unit kept freezing over. I checked reviews online and decided Id call Utahs Best Home Pros to come take a look. Zack came out and inspected everything. He was so kind, thoughtful, communicative, and informative. He texted ahead of time to let me know when he was arriving. Upon arrival, he made instant friends with the dogs and treated my children with the utmost respect. After a brief chat and a quick walkthrough, Zack pulled out his tools and his book. He walked me through every test he performed, every reading he took, and what it all meant...graciously walking me through the math and answering my dozens of questions along the way. As we got further into the inspection, we started discovering more and more issues. He stayed longer than he probably should have to make sure he explored every aspect of the entire system. Unfortunately for me, it wasnt great news regarding the HVAC system in general. But, he gave me multiple options of what could be done to remedy the issues ranging from inexpensive to a full on coil or condenser replacement or even a complete HVAC overhaul. He even gave me some creative ways to work around everything without having to shell out any money whatsoever. But, just to be sure, Zack asked if he could bring a supervisor the following day to confirm his findings.The following day, the two showed up on time. The dogs were elated their friend was back and even brought a new friend! Again, both were absolute gentlemen to my family, which means the world to me as a father. We did another walkthrough and another in-depth inspection of everything. Once again, it wasnt particularly great news about the multiple issues with the HVAC system. The supervisor suggested all the same options Zack had the previous day and had the same advice.Luckily for me, their advice worked. My AC survived the summer, stopped freezing over, and kept our family cool those remaining weeks. Ive had contractors that, when seeing I clearly know nothing about their specialty, would try and gauge me for services. In those cases, I always get a second or third opinion. Ive never had a contractor actually bring in their own second opinion! Not only did they take the time to help, but they spent extra time educating me and giving me a crash course in HVAC systems in general. I cannot thank these guys enough. They are the epitome of professionalism.

It’s never fun when your furnace goes out, but even less fun when it’s the middle of the holidays, a Saturday, and getting really cold in the next few days. Utah’s best heating and air had a technician to my house by 1pm and by 6pm Sunday had a new furnace up and running. Brayden was very helpful and explained all my option thoroughly. The technicians were very professional and efficient. I will definitely use them for any issues that may arise in the future.
