As a homeowner, its not easy finding reliable services. Sometimes, I can get references, but most of the time I rely on reviews as you must be doing right now. Well, if you are looking for a great plumber, look no further - Gideon, the owner of Ideal Plumbing, is reliable, knowledgeable, and just a really nice guy. I appreciated how he took the time to explain what he was doing. Ive been curating a list of a team of professionals to help me maintain my house, and Ideal Plumbing is definitely on my list of go-to businesses.

Ideal has to be the most honest, hard working, and helpful tradesman Ive ever hired in nearly a decade of home ownership.The owner of the company, Gideon, was beyond helpful. In fact, if Superman and a plumber were to have a baby (excuse me, SUPER baby), and that baby grew up to become a plumber. No, not a plumber...THE Plumber.Gideon came into my home and located the issue right away. Unfortunately, confirming his diagnosis would mean cutting into a wall, so he did something that I would consider out of character for ANY OTHER BUSINESS OWNER. He came up with a possible solution that I could do myself. Then, he WAIVED THE FEE that plumbing companies charge just to have them show up at your home!Like I said, this guy is different...All he asked was that I reach out to let him know how things worked out, and it was totally genuine.Gideons solution worked. I was able to fix my own plumbing issue. Even better, it was free of charge!While other plumbers will try to pad your bill to squeeze as much money as possible from you for a job, Ideal is different. Gideon went above and beyond. He received a panicked called from me after one contractor could not finish the job. I told him I had a water line break outside and the water company shut off the water and gave a 3 day window to fix it. Of course we were going into a holiday weekend. Gideon came to assess the job, spoke with the water company, and gave a very, very reasonable price. He rearranged his schedule to come the next day to fix the pipe. The next day, Gideon showed up at the time he said he would and started promptly on the job. The front yard was torn up to get to the pipe, they put everything back neatly and even placed huge rocks in my landscape. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Gideon. His professionalism is a class act! I highly recommend him and his company. You will not be disappointed!! He has gained a customer for sure!

What an amazing company and great experience. Gideon is a very knowledgeable professional. I had a gas line leak near my pool that others quoted $20k+ to re run. Gideon came, took the time to properly diagnose the leak, found the source, and was able to repair the leak for astronomically less. His professionalism and common sense approach to his craft will be the reason that I will continue to call Ideal for any of my future plumbing projects.

My parents used Ideal Plumbing Solutions to get their hot water heater replaced last year. They went with this company because they were the only company that got back to them right away. Gideon came out within 24 hours of the call to diagnose the issue, then came back two days later (He had another customer that needed a repair the next day) first thing in the morning and replaced the unit. He did very professional and prompt work and I dont feel like he screwed them around at all.I was working from home when he changed the unit out, he had trouble getting the tank up the stairs due to the sheer amount of sediment and water still left in it and how steep the stairs were. He was going to come back with a friend to help him get it up the stairs at a later time, but I ended up helping him which I didnt mind what so ever. I did appreciate him not wanting to bother us with helping him even though it was no problem. I recommend him on social media whenever i can!

Gideon was responsive when I called to inquire about him fixing a leaky toilet and replacing a kitchen sink. He was here the next day and provided me an estimate the following day. He performed both jobs in an outstanding professional manner. Put protection down on all areas he may have had to go over, explained everything he was doing and why. Leak found and repaired quickly. Excellent sink he got for us and a first-class job installing it He hit one minor roadblock but handled it right away. Cleaned everything when finished and reinspected all work before he was ready to leave.Nice to see a young plumber have old school values. He cares about his work and wants to ensure we were 100% satisfied. My wife and I are so glad we called him. Highly recommend Gideon - professional, honest, considerate, upfront and very fair pricing. Will never call another plumber going forward.

Gideon was responsive in an emergency leak situation and showed up that night to assess the situation on his way back from a job. He showed up the next day and repaired the leak, got my heat up and running again, and even had one of his guys look at a totally unrelated electrical issue to give me an assessment (for no added cost).His price was reasonable, and he’s a young guy running a reliable and knowledgeable business: as a younger guy with a contracting business myself it feels good to support another local guy, and knowing I can rely on him for years to come without fear of retirement and finding someone new is peace of mind.I already have his number saved in my phone for future issues. Thanks Gideon, although I hope I’ll never call you again, I know one day I will.

Gideon was able to get us on their schedule very quickly to evaluate our water softener, a leak coming from our bathroom and our hot water heater. As a new homeowner a lot of these things can be very overwhelming and I was just trying to get an evaluation that everything was functioning correctly and he charged an extremely fair rate & and was completely transparent on any costs that would be associated with if things went south. A lot of other companies I reached out for previously gave me a 2 month lead time.Him and his coworker also offered DIY tips of how to fix some things to save myself some money - the first for me from a contractor! We will definitely use them again in the future.
