So before summer hits, I thought I might have my AC serviced. Called nexgen AC heating and plumbing. From the call from the office to the follow up calls, and the technician that came out was outstanding service.Justin what is my technician that came out and he was phenomenal. From then moment he parked, walked up with a smile, introduced himself and before he started on his walk-through he explained to me what he would be doing. Through his inspection he was showing me exactly what was going on and how to prevent end give my system longevity. All his recommendations were reasonable and made complete sense. I can’t think just enough. I would definitely be calling back for my yearly service. Thank you, Justin.

Honestly one of the best services ive had in a long time. Alex was informative and helpful he answered every question I had, even if it seemed like a dumb question. Not to mention availability was great I called and had an appointment that very same day, most companies wouldnt book me for a week after. Considering california gets really hot, it was nice to have my AC back.

Initially I had a bad experience with the company as I signed up for a promotional tune up for $45. The technician who came was friendly but forgot to plug back in a key connection inside the furnace which entirely stopped my heat. It was pretty cold and I was clueless how that may have happened. As the furnace electronic connection relays to the working of the condenser unit of the AC, it also faltered. The technician attributed this faulty behavior to low refrigerant and leak in the system. My HVAC system was installed brand new from American Standard 1.5 years ago with new coils and new ducts. I had a sleepless night thinking how this happened and next day I called the customer care to send me a different tech asap to fix the issue. Nexgen was able to send another “experienced” technician who was aware of the high end systems. Finally, when this new tech came, he was able to identify this error caused by the earlier tech and fixed the issue. He confirmed that indeed there was no other issue in the condenser unit as well. Here I do want to acknowledge that though I had a rough day with the initial tune up and the first tech, the second person was able to resolve the issue. Also, both techs were friendly and maintained a good demeanor. Initially I had provided a one star review but with the resolution of my issue I would definitely change my review to 4 star.

My Tune up was not what I expected. I signed up after the Home Dept was offering a promo. Im not sure the service I received was a tune-up but instead a diagnostics test. Rolando came out and measured the temp coming out of the vents, did a voltage test to my system, showed me pictures of my duckwork from the roof along with fins. Called out it needed a standard cleaning but holy cow..way too expensive. The maintenance suggested cost more than my entire unit. Failed to inspect the return. I also didnt receive any kind of write up or appraisal suggesting next steps. If I take my car in for diag or a tune up ,I would expect a report. Maybe others had a better experience but I believe this was a sales pitch to get me to pay for an insanely high routine cleaning.Edit. NextGen reached out and offered a re-do and the tune-up was much more informative and thoughout. Technician came out and did all my reading and looked over my system again and explained things in greater detail. When they mentioned the parts they offered they explained why it would be needed and how it be benficial long term. Cleaned out my fins and inspected the ignition element to the system as well.

These guys did such a good job. Truly professional. Even afterwards when I needed to just check on some thing they were there immediately. Just really went over and beyond. Make sure everything was perfect. Really really well done. The communication was great. The installers were texting me directly to make sure everything was OK. I had some electrical issues they owned it and came back to take care of it. Not sure how the price next to anyone else, but I have confidence in the quality of the product being installed.

Eileen, who scheduled the appointment , answered my questions and the price she quoted was the amount I was charged . Will, who was the plumber, told me when he would arrive, arrived when he told me and completed the job while answering my questions. NexGen is the best! Their service is top notch, thorough, very responsive and reasonably priced. David, our tech, was helpful and even researched a possible issue with the size of our unit. He went above and beyond to double check, get more photos, and reviewed it all with his boss. Thankfully it all worked out and no need for any fixes. When he mentioned the possible issue, I thought maybe an upsell might happen. Thankfully he was just looking out for whats best for me! I was blown away with his care and concern. So impressed and highly recommend NexGen.

Abel Luevano was my technician and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Clogged upstairs toilet, water everywhere including downstairs bedroom. A complete disaster. NextGen to the rescue. Abel quoted me a price, removed the toilet to clear the clog with the medium snake and with that also suggested replacing the angle stop valve. Put it all back together within an hour. Expensive? You bet. Work was done fast and clean. That’s the difference between the Pro’s and the Joe’s. Thank you Abel!! You rock!!!

The Techs are honest, direct, sincere and know the ins and outs of their craft!I recommend them wholeheartedly!They have serviced my HVAC system before and I trust them, so when the time came for another service, and we realized that we would have to put in a lot of work to my 1989 system, I opted for a new unit, and they gave me a really good price.Patrick the Tech is the man, and Ryan from sales gave me a great deal as an existing client.I’ll review again after the system goes in.

We have Orlando G. came by today to help fix our shower cartridge/valve (not giving is hot water and the marble outside is making the area too small to take the whole thing out). Orlando is super nice and friendly, most importantly, super professional! He knows what the problem is right after he opens the handle and he cut our marble carefully and perfectly!! What surprised me was that he even had a vacuum with him to clean the dirt/pieces after he cut the marble!!! How professional and considerate! And he then drove to Home Depot to get us the right sized new cartridge/valve in a really short time! Then he got the job done in like 5 minutes!!! Fast, accurate, professional!!! We really appreciate Orlando’s help and time helping us with this!!! We will definitely choose NexGen in the future and refer to our friends!!! Good company, good people, good job!!!

NexGen, I received a quote for a upgrade on my home furnace and air conditioning unit by Regan. Regan was very good about explaining the choices for a upgrade. Regans follow through with answering question impressed me after hours.Two guys came on time for the furnace and air conditioning installation. Christian Q. and his co-worker were very professional and friendly. They were very meticulous on taking apart the old furnace and air conditioning unit.They were very best and clean after taking two days to install the two units. Once again, they detailed and we’re meticulous on installing the my new furnace and air conditioning unit keeping. Christian explained a variety of what he was doing during the two days.I never new that a furnace and air conditioning unit could look so good. They detailed the inside of the furnace and around the air conditioning unit. Wow! What great work.The best part was the follow up after the installation explained someone would follow up for the permit to make sure their furnace and air conditioning system were top notch.Thanks NexGen for your expertise and friendly service. Our heating/AC system is very old and the AC stopped working. Benny did a thorough job of checking and made sure we understood what was covered and what was happening. Tim came to explain and showed us problem areas and explained the effects. Went through the different options available to us and the differences on these option. Very patient and knowledgeable, and did not apply any pressure. Absolutely great experience, stress free. And we know it is an investment but we know that we are getting very good quality service and equipment. Thank you Benny and Tim for patiently explaining every with us.

This is our second experience with NexGen HVAC & Plumbing. Previously, they did a great job with a very challenging installation of mini-split AC units upstairs.We had them come back to evaluate our central AC unit, as summer approaches. Similar to our previous experience with NexGen, the service technician coordinated and communicated with us every step of the way. He shared the results of his evaluation with us, including photos and measurements data. We agreed to the recommended services, including replacement of an old starter capacitor, and chemical cleaning of the very dirty blower fan and condenser coils. This work was done thoroughly and professionally by the technician. He then shared his post-service analytics, confirming a significant improvement in the performance of our AC system. (The technician worked until 7:30 PM to complete the recommended services!)The technician indicated that he will return in about one week to perform a post-service check-up, to ensure that our AC system is still functioning properly.Once again, we are completely satisfied with NexGen!

Our AC unit was not blowing out cold air but we could hear the motor going and feel the unit getting cold. We had put off fixing it because we assumed the cost to fix would be out of our budget. Having a pet, we could not leave to work with this California heat kicking in. We saw a NexGen technician at our neighbors home and decided to give it a go. This morning we schedule an appointment online for the same day. It was easy. We recieved a follow up call and a technician was at our home by evening time. Not only was the service inexpensive but Anthony (Tiny), the technician was very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and helpful. He was able to resolve and repair our AC unit within the same day. I would recommend Tiny and his company to others. I will definitely use them in the future if need be.

I called needing an estimate for my clogged outdoor drain. I was told on the phone that they offer free estimates and that snaking it would cost $96. I guess it wasnt explained to me properly because the tech got here and gave me an estimate and took pictures. I was told I needed a more extensive service for my yard other than snaking it. He was very professional and took pictures and gave me estimates. I was still charged $96 despite nothing really physically being done. I called the office and was told that this was a diagnostic fee which wasnt disclosed to me when i first called so i am pretty disappointed. I already knew what was wrong with my yard and all i needed was an estimate to the cost of service. One thing good i have to say though is that the service tech was very professional.Update: I was called by the general manager addressing this miscommunication. He offered me a full refund for and wanted to walk through how to acquire my business. Very professional and responds very quickly. I appreciate this very much. Will definitely consider doing business with them to how professional they are.

Ruben and Ben from NexGen Anaheim were very professional. They notified us that they were on their way and promptly arrived on time.When we explained the situation with our wall heater and how unique the problem was, they examined the issue and immediately went to work. They explained to us what the actual problem was and let us know what the next steps were to fix it. They were able to fix our heater with a simple connection to a new thermostat in less than an hour and got rid of the old thermostat! After they were done fixing our heater, they stayed to see if the new thermostat was working and it did! No more turning on the stove in order to turn on the heater!!They were professional, knew what they were talking about, friendly, and straightforward when it came to what the problem was.Overall, they provided exceptional service! Definitely recommend these two gentlemen for your heater needs!Thank you both! You saved us from a costly heating bill!

Im very excited about our new relationship with NexGen HVAC & Plumbing. I opted for the $88 HVAC Tune-Up special - scheduling was easy and I received great communication about my upcoming appointment via text. The technician, Kiefer King, was professional and polite. He didnt hesitate to put on the mask that I offered when asked. He did a complete and thorough review of my AC system and offered me several different options to maximize my system. I hadnt thought to include the water heater in this evaluation and he called a plumber on the spot to get me setup with that, as well. He reviewed all of the options with me and emailed them to me along with photos of my system so I could review on my own time. Im looking forward to signing up for a maintenance plan with NexGen, now that I know their techs like Kiefer are so great! Thank you!

Our air conditioning broke so I called and much to my surprise… I was able to get a same day appointment. A young man by the name Jay came out… diagnosed our unit and had it fixed in about an hour and a half (our unit was extremely damaged due to lack of maintenance). The price was extremely fair and Jay was super professional!!!! Thank you so much for everything!!! I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs help!!!

Benny not only did a very thorough evaluation of our AC condenser and HVAC system, but he happily walked us through the what and why of his work. We called to get an estimate to relocate our A/C unit from downstairs up into the attic because the amount of cold air that we were getting into the bedrooms upstairs was poor and believed that moving the unit could solve our problem.We had Justin (filed tech) and Patrick (Supervisor) come out to our house.Turned out that after they inspected our unit and looked at the space in the attic they determined that our unit isnt able to be installed horizontally, further more they noticed our dampers were in closed position and began opening them to the correct setting which improved the air flow dramatically. They advised us on a couple of thing we could do to improve our air flow even more down the line as well.After spending a couple of hours checking our system and adjusting our dampers not only they were able to resolve a problem that could resulted in a very expensive job but made our air flow much better in the 3 bedrooms upstairs. The system runs great now thanks to both Patrick and Justin and wanted t also mention that there was no charge for what they did for us and was super grateful for their assistance and level of professionalism. NexGen ROCKS!!!We love the fact that we dealt with an honest company and feel certain that we will reach out to them in the future for our Heating and A/C Needs. My heater on my Heating and AC unit went out, just this morning. I called Nexgen, as I’ve used them before. They were able to get a technician sent out this afternoon. The technician Juan, was able to fix my problem…and he fixed in a timely manner. He was polite, diligent and very knowledgeable. He explained everything that he needed to do(pictures included)and was going to do. He even took the time to talk to me about future things that will need to be done to my unit. He was very professional. But, the best thing by far about Juan was his, understanding and willingness to put the customer first. After he calculated the cost of my work, I ended up being a little short. Juan was kind enough to contact his Supervisor to discuss an option to assist me with the costs. That was so nice of him! Needless to say, Nextgen is the company that I will definitely call on for any future work and routine checks for my unit. Quality, knowledgeable, professional, caring People, and company. I’m sold! Insane quality. Went a week without ac during a heatwave and nexgen didn’t disappoint. I was kind of surprised that they scheduled same day estimates, probably why I slept through it. Kristy in the office was incredibly helpful, positive and moved with urgency which was greatly appreciated in a time when I had no hot water in the house. He answered all of our questions and if he wasnt sure about something, reached back to NexGen for confirmation. My A/C stopped working on one of the hottest summer days in the San Fernando Valley in the middle of remodeling my home. NexGen said they would try to get me same day service. Alex, an HVAC Technician, made me a priority to fit me in as his last stop, even after his day was already done. It turned out my A/C had some other than normal repair work that was going to require it to be replaced. Alex was ingenuitive enough to disassemble the A/C unit down to the barebones and was able to fix what would’ve otherwise required a complete replacement, or swap through warranty. Which I had none. Alex stayed well beyond his normal working hours to fix the A/C. He definitely saved my household from the brutal summer heat and gave me a deal on the repair work that was too good to be true, but it was indeed true. I can’t thank Alex enough. He went above and beyond to help me. I can say he’s truly one of the few good and honest guys out there. They just don’t make wholesome men like that anymore. Know if you call NexGen and get Alex, you’ll be in good hands…

Our air conditioner was not cooling properly so Patrick the technician came out and quickly diagnosed a problem with the wiring. He rewired the system and it works perfectly. We had another company come out for another issue and I suspect that technician was responsible for the incorrect wiring. Patrick also advised that duct cleaning advised by the other company was unnecessary. I would highly recommend Nexgen for quality service and competent technicians.

So on 1/27/22 two representatives came out were very courteous wearing mask and booties and gave me an estimate for work on a custom sink install. Unfortunately, their estimate was not within our budget. But I must say I was definitely impressed with their customer service! Now that’s how you do Business! Sometimes mistakes are made or conversations get lost in translation but it’s how you FIX those mistakes or makeup for customer service that makes the difference. If I every need a plumber Nex Gen will definitely be at the TOP of my list.Thank you and I appreciate you trying to make GOOD on the 1st call.Original message just 3 starsWasted my time and the representative who showed up. When someone calls with a detailed explanation as to the work that’s needed. Don’t let the dispatcher or receptions say they can do the job. Have someone who knows call them back. The provider who came to my house was very honest with me regarding what he thought would help with my heating and cooling needs. After he described what NextGen could provide, he ultimately suggested what I probably needed was a much smaller job by a handyman, something I had not considered but would save me significant money. I really appreciated his expertise in evaluating my dilemma and I felt he displayed trustworthiness and honesty in his recommendations and so even though I didn’t end up using Next Gen I had a really good experience and would recommend them to others or call them back in the future if my needs changed.

Alex was our service tech and what a pleasure it was to meet him, he was professional, friendly, thorough and showed me how to keep my unit clean in between servicing. It all started with a maintenance of the HVAC system. Our HVAC system is 5 years old, we were under the impression everything was installed properly and functioning the way it should be. To our suprise there was a lot of short cuts that were taken during installation which caused some damage to the system (rust, safe switch not connected, air ducts falling apart & tangled, vents not replaced, air filter not connected). An first time homeowners worst nightmare and to top it off our water heater was outdated and ready to give out.Martin V. was very thorough with his recommendations including the water heater. What I Loved, is that we were provided with 3 options (1.Need It, 2. Can wait but needs to be done, 3. Fix all). No matter what option we selected, Martin was there by our side guiding us. Overall, all our needs were met and our project started the next day. Decisions were made stress free, no pressure. I cant thank Martin and his amazing boss for making this experience unforgettable and amazing.

I called NexGen on 12/17/21 to get a phone estimate for a single zone mini split install including electrical. I was advised I could get a phone estimate from what I believe they called a designer. My call back number was verified, and we set up a phone appointment for the same day. As of 12/24, I have not received a phone call or text message. In the meantime, I decided to go with another company for the install. **Update** I received a text message apology from Liz at NexGen on 12/26, stating the customer service rep failed to update my number on file, and that she will be coached regarding the mix up to avoid this happening in the future. I first had Kevin stop by. He determined there is no leak in the shower and proceeded to let me know a good Moen valve is being used and doesn’t need to be replaced. He also put more tape around the shower head to help it from leaking. He had his coworker Travis come by and determine if I had a slab leak or not. Travis immediately came by and within 15 min was able to determine 1) it’s a cold water slab leak 2) THE EXACT pipe and source (faucet in restroom). Travis gave me more information in 15 min than another company did in two days!!! This team knows what they are doing! Kind, knowledgeable , and professional!!!! I will definitely use again!!! I am the type of homeowner that collects multiple quotes before hiring a contractor/repair man. My criteria for service is professionalism, price, and personality. Amongst my quotes for this round was NexGen. I was having an issue woth my kitchen sink and dish washer (the hot water seemed to have little to no pressure and my dish washer water was so sparse the soap wasn’t running and my dishes didn’t feel clean). They sent Clemente out. He showed up on time and was very professional. He did very thorough diagnostics.He was my second quote and overall the hypothesis was the same as the first… I need to replace the piping in my entire home (built before 1960 and has old galvanized pipes that rust. I recently did a remodel and my water was shut off on the kitchen for about a month. Apparently rust developing during that time in galvanized pipes is a common occurrence), but what mad Clemente stand out is that he actually took my pipes apart to look inside. No technicians prior to or after did this. He showed me how the water draining from the pipes was orange from the rust.Since his diagnostic check was so in depth, I asked him to check out my bathroom sink (I had been using it to wash dishes while my kitchen was being redone and after around 3 days, it stopped draining properly. PSA: don’t use your bathroom sink to wash dishes. As with the kitchen, he took the pipes apart to check the issue and ended up fixing the backup in the process!Ultimately, we did not end up using NexGen for the kitchen job due to price (Clemente had even said the price I had been previously quoted was a great deal) but I would definitely call NexGen again. The fee for quote was worth the bathroom sink repair for sure and if you’re in need of a second opinion for a job you have, they are definitely your people

I only asked them to replace a filter. When they left I had NO HVAC. They agreed not to charge me seeing as I would not pay for what they broke. Anyway, bottom line NexGen was fabulous!!!!!
