The top part of this review is more recent: Steve Reid is the best! He also repaired our toilets in the upstairs and downstairs bathroom. We simply would not consider using another person to take care of our plumbing needs. We trust him and are very satisfied with his work.This part is from our first experiencedI decided to add this to Steve Reid is totally professional, responsive & reasonable. He came by on a Saturday and was able to effectively repair an old leaky basement pipe. He also fixed a broken hot water faucet in our spare bathroom. We could not be happier and will use this service in the future.

I called on a weekend to have someone come to fix my outdoor water spigot so I could water my garden. Steve answered the phone, explained that he was on a job but asked me to leave my contact information and he would get back to me and would come to see the job that same afternoon. He showed up right on time and after assessing the problem, told us we could easily fix it ourselves since it was only a replacement issue. He could have charged us and done the job himself but was honest and straightforward. We followed his instructions, spent less than $5.00 at Home Depot for the part and did the job ourselves. Everything works so Im not only happy but wanted to share this so others will know he is reliable and honest and I would call him again in a heartbeat if I had a plumbing issue.

Reids Plumbing was wonderful to work with! Responsive, excellent quality, and a fair price. He didnt charge me an emergency fee for work that was performed late at night. I highly recommend Reids Plumbing for any plumbing related problems you may have!

Steve came on a Saturday afternoon to replace a cold water pipe in the wall behind the fridge that had frozen and burst when a window blew in during the night. He answered on my first call and had me text him the address. He came quickly, figured out the problem and what was needed, and came back in less than hour with the parts. Everything was all done within a couple of hours of me calling him and the price was fair. I definitely can recommend him for anyone who is needing a responsive and competent plumber for an emergency situation like this. Very satisfied customer here and will be using him again if needing similar work!

Best plumber around. We had a mess from frozen pipes and Steve came and stuck with the job until it was complete when other plumbers wouldn’t even return our calls. Friendly and high quality service with reasonable rates. Highly recommend!

My domestic intake Pex pipe to my oil furnace basically burst which caused my basement to start a flood, I had to turn off the main to entire house. I called my HVAC servicer, who came out and basically told me its a plumbing issue. Then called a plumber that told me he did not work with this kind of piping so he did a bandaid job which failed in less than 24 hours. So then I called at 9:30am to Reids and explained all I had been through and that I needed help asap, they said they would come after the job they were doing arrived by 12:00pm and was completed by 1:20pm. They were professional, efficient and their price was more than fair. They answered all my questions and I will use them again. I strongly recommend!!

It’s 9:30 Saturday night and we see water on the kitchen floor. Neither sink or dishwasher had been used, so it was a mystery as to where it was coming from. Found Steve’s info from an ‘emergency plumbing’ google search. He answered quickly, and said he’d be right over! Well, it turns out the water line to the dishwasher was bad, so he turned off the water supply. Geez ~ why didn’t I think of that? Hey, I’m a girl ~ what can I say? He is such a wonderful person and didnt charge me an ‘emergency’ price. Well, I think he’s now our new plumber! I have 2 faucets he’s going to put in for me next week. Very, very happy with his service !

Wow, what a guy! Howard was professional, very quick and had a plumber at my house within 30 minutes. I had a sewage back up and he took care of it immediately. I would highly recommend him and plan on using him in the future, no doubt about it. Thank you!

These guys helped me when no one else would. I have a 26 year old gas fired steam heating system that quit and they got me going. Im grateful. They are fairly priced, responsive and a pleasure to do business with.

I called Steve blindly because he could come out on a weekend, and he was super responsive and super prompt. Unfortunately he needed to order toilet parts but he was back two days later to do the installation. In fact, he had to go back to the supplier that same day because of some missing pieces, but he came back the same day and also came back the next day for some adjustments. Steve is a great guy, friendly, responsive and professional. We will use him again!

Steve was great! I needed an outdoor spigot, he was fast, friendly and did a great job. Now I can get a kiddie pool for my toddler!
