Called Ryan & Co for a check to my furnace for a sound I had been hearing. Rich had come and checked my furnace for the sound I heard. It was not the furnace as Rich skillfully went over the internals and all was well. It appears to be a vibration of two metal ducts. All in all, very pleased with their service (had Ryan install a April air humidifier and fine tune it) They know their business and are thorough on the project.

Very satisfied with the heat pump system installed by Ryan & co.They were the most professional from start to finish (compared to other contractors we talked to). The team listened to us and helped us taylor the system to our needs.We got a heat pump system installed in our old house (central system for the first floor and 2 mini splits upstairs) and they made it work despite of its quirks. We lost barely no head space in the basement as they did a great job lining up with the beams.Highly recommend them.

Updated Review 5/7/2024 - Ryan & Company just installed a new, more efficient boiler and hot water system. Technicians stayed all day to get the job done so I could have hot water that night. Job site was Immaculately clean after the install. Cant say enough about Ryan & Company. They out-perform.Added a photo of the new system. So happy!Been using Ryan & Co for a few years mostly for water softener maintenance. Theyve also been here repairing pipes with pin hole leaks as well as installing a smart thermostat. Every Ryan technician that has been to the house has been on time, courteous and has answered any question that I asked. I like that they send emails when on route with a picture of the technician thats coming. I would recommend Ryan & Co. as they have never disappointed me with their service.

I wasnt sure who to go to about making sure my new homes AC would run properly after having purchased it in the dead of winter. Our HVAC system didnt have any indication of who serviced it last left on it, and the install looked a bit questionable even to the untrained eye....Thankfully, my research led me to Ryan & Company. Milton was very patient, thorough, and super conscientious about trying not to track dirt and mud through the house while he taught me the basics of my system and let me observe and learn every step of the way, pointing out my systems quirks, and ensuring none of them were safety issues. Very happy with my first routine service, and I hope the others will prove to be just as excellent.***Rich came by to check our furnace for the cold months and was super generous with his time and knowledge, answering my questions about our system and telling me helpful things to keep an eye on and look out for over time. I really appreciated his candor and his great work.***Had a plumbing concern (the kitchen sink’s cold water wouldn’t run!) and traced it to our very old pin shut-offs needing to be replaced. Shane was efficient and friendly, and got our sink working again. Really appreciated his prompt help.

Ryan & Company built our brewery from the ground up. Working closely with the GC, they literally installed every inch of pipe from the new steam boiler in the basement, to the brewhouse. They brought to us creative ways to recycle energy, such as ceiling fans for heat, and improve efficiencies within our system with additional timers and valves.Ryan & Company installed a glycol cooling system on the roof and an extensive pipe network for cooling 11 tanks use for the CLT, fermentor and brite tanks. Everything including a new hot-water heater and extensive network of pipes for compressed air.Every employees of Ryan & Company is a complete professional, on time and courteous. They were on site for eleven months and didnt stop until the job was complete.I would highly recommend Ryan & Company for any job.

Ryan and Company have been our go-to heating repair people since we moved here two years ago. Im having issues with my A/C unit now so Im going to reach out again (it is the reason I just remembered them)!My unit in particular is hard to troubleshoot because a real DIY guy did the installation. So much so he wired his own board and circuitry. I was impressed they could fix the issue without replacing the unit.They recently added some work to allow a basement room to be used as a painting studio (move air/in out cleanly and without losing heat/cooling). Always great work.

I called Ryan & Company because of several reasons. It is loca, right around the corner from where I live. The phone was answered promptly and the receptionist immediately scheduled an appointment for a plumber. Subsequently, I received 2 emails. The first arrived the night before the appt. As a reminder. It also gave me a name and photo of the plumber coming for security reasons. The fellow arrived right on time. He examined the area to be fixed, explained what needed to be done and gave me the price. He went straight to work and was near and clean. The plumber was knowledgeable and friendly. I was very satisfied with this experience and would not hesitate to call this company again.

I didnt mark Good Value as I didnt do an in-depth survey of competitors cost. My guess is Ryan & Co. falls right in the middle, neither the cheapest nor the most expensive.

My basement flooded and I lost my hot water. Pete came within a couple of hours after my call even though they were fully booked today. Turns out I needed a new hot water heater. He was able to get the new water heater and install it in a couple hours. The water also destroyed the battery back up device for my sump pump and he provided me with my options. Pete was very thorough, professional and a pleasure to do business with.

TL;DR - excellent, quality service at a reasonable price. Had two outdoor hosebibs replaced. The one in the rear of the house was raining water inside, caused by split copper pipe. Front one was dripping if not turned off. Anthony iwas extremely knowledgeable, courteous, answered all my questions, explained what he was throughout the entire job. He gave me tips on how to avoid this in the future, what was needed, what I should not bother to do. Very respectful of property - walked around the property instead of through the house (I said dont worry about it), just in case he would track some dirt in. He had to go through drywall in garage to get to the pipe, recommended a cover plate for the (neatly done hole) when I asked him. BTW, he first surveyed the work to be done, presented me with the price, breaking down the cost - none of the process was rushed.Sure, a simple job done very well, but to me that is telling of how they approach larger jobs. Total on-sjte was about 2.5 hours - I never saw him look at his watch to hurry to the next job.Definitely will use Ryan & Company again, Im a big supporter of family-owned businesses.

Our older boiler wasnt working and they were able to diagnose the problem quickly as the igniter box for the system shorting out. They were able to find the part for the system which is not made any longer and have it delivered in two days. The owners of the company came after hours on a Friday to install the piece knowing that we did not have hot water rather than have on of their on call staff make the trip. Everyone was very thorough and explained everything that was going on and what happened and why. It is hard to find local businesses today that ensure they provide great service and a personal touch. Would use them again in an instant.

Couldnt be more pleased with my experience. Had leaks in the bathroom going down into the ceiling of the kitchen from a bad contractor who remodeled the bathroom. Called Ryan & Company to come take a look and the owner Bill came to take a look later that day. Sent out his technician Brandon, who was at our house at 8 AM the next morning to do the repairs. After fixing the leaking shower, we decided he should check the toilet and sink as well to be safe. Sure enough they both had leaks as well, Brandon was able to fix all three leaks very quickly and even did some extra caulking to enhance the appearance. Both Bill & Brandon were very knowledgable, friendly, showed up on time and did a great job at a fair price. If you need plumbing work done in North Jersey, call Ryan & Company now.
