Home Advisor sent our info out to three local businesses for the insurance-covered repairs and sliding door replacement needed in our home. Shearer Carpentry was the only one to respond, and they responded almost immediately. Jesse was out within a few days to give us an estimate, on the heels of the insurance assessor. It was fair and complete and didnt include anything unnecessary.The delays were caused by the insurance company, and by our need to order the sliding door. Once we had that taken care of, Jesse scheduled his crew to come in and do the job. Of course, he did call and reschedule: to show up TWO DAYS EARLIER than planned!I would have no problem hiring Shearer Carpentry again to work on my home. The crew was friendly, neat, efficient, and left zero mess behind and they did outstanding work. I would highly recommend this company.

This is late in posting. They installed two exterior doors for us and did outstanding work. The attention to details and clean up was great. Jesse remain in contact all day to follow progress and followed up the next to verify satisfaction. I am planing a deck next year and hope to use them for this. I would gladly hire them to do any work I require. Cant say enough.

Shearer Carpentry put in a new acoustic tile ceiling in our basement which replaced the one we had done ourselves 23 years ago. We had had a difficult time finding a company to do the work and were excited when they accepted the job. They were a pleasure to work with, very responsive and reliable. The work they did was outstanding and we so appreciate that they were able to complete the teardown and replacement in two days. I wouldnt hesitate to have them do another project on our home in the future.
