Austin did an awesome job tiling my gas fireplace. It turned out more beautiful than I imagined. It was challenging because of the size of the tile, but he dug right in. A great guy to have on the team. He also did repairs on my pergola and minor storm damage to the house siding. All top notch. Couldnt tell they were damaged. Will use Handyman Connection in the future.

Milton was friendly and easy to work with to install the cabinet and door knobs above our washer and dryer. It was our understanding 2 people would be sent to install the cabinet so Milton had to come back a second time and was able to get it installed by himself. The job would have been much easier with two people. As a result, the completion of the job was delayed 4 days. This was no fault of Milton’s. He also installed two hand railings.

We have used Handyman Connection for a couple of our home repairs. It has always been easy to get a quote in a timely fashion and there is always follow-up. Gene was the latest to fix some holes in our wall and ceiling because of a wiring project that had been previously done for which the electrician did not cover in doing his work. Gene is meticulous about doing a thorough job for us. The completed project is wonderful.

We hired Handyman Connection a couple months ago to renovate our mudroom, and Im pleased to say that my expectations of the completed work were far exceeded. Our handyman Bill did an outstanding job bringing my mudroom design to life, and his craftsmanship and attention to detail would put many contractors these days to shame. The project really came together beautifully. Weve received many, many compliments on the finished product.As with any project, issues come up and changes need to be made, but Kyle with Handyman Connection did a great job of staying in communication with us and coordinating the project for us, which I think is probably what helped us to sleep easy at night despite this being such a major project for us. We would absolutely use Handyman Connection again in the future.

The handyman (Melton) arrived on time, was cordial, and generally informed of the project scope. He was very attentive to my explanation of a few additional work scope requirements he had not been previously informed of. The requested work (installing chicken wire mesh to hold up garage roof insulation) was completed within the estimated time quoted and the existing insulation conditions (see picture below). I would peg my actual numerical rating more at 4.4 to 4.5 than just the four-star one shown above.

The team trudged through a snow storm to deliver an install our kitchen counters. Small changes, equal a big update. Great communication, transparent pricing, timely arrival and duration of work performed. What more could you ask for. We needed to skim coat and paint the last of the dreaded popcorn ceilings during our remodel. Milton was very prompt in responding to any questions we had and thorough in getting as much info as possible to give an accurate job description. We had other contractors in for cabinetry and countertops and scheduling conflicts were expected. Our technician Milton was flexible, easy to work with and ensured he had a clear understanding of our expectations before starting work. When he was finished, he made sure to go over everything he did and any follow-up instructions. Were given peace of mind knowing our handyman had years of experience, had been background checked and that the work was done efficiently and professionally.

We have worked with handyman connection a couple of times now. They did a fabulous job on our kitchen project last year. Most recently, we hired them for a project replacing our back door and a few interior doors. We are so happy with the work that Alex and Guillermo did. We live in an old house with some quirks that required creative solutions for replacing some of the casing, and they both went above and beyond to make it seamless. We also had Gene assist us with several small maintenance projects (installing a bathroom fan, repairing a window sill, trimming baseboards) and he did a great job.

In retrospect, I should’ve asked for a range of cost. For example, if the wood trim was found to be rotten, then it would’ve been replaced and stained, etc. The wood was not rotten so it was just nailed down but I still paid the full price. The handyman, Chase, was very professional and did a great job. He gets five stars. I am only downgrading the overall company to four stars because I think I should’ve been able to pay a little bit less since the larger scope of the work was not necessary. Milton was my craftsman and he did a fast and efficient job even though the old hardware he was working with was very old and outdated. The estimation process, scheduling, work order, and billing were performed with great professionalism. The service was friendly and realistic, no stressful upselling or pressure was felt at any step of the process. There were also no surprises I had to deal with in terms of the result or the bill. Tom G was my designated handyman and got straight to work on arrival. He went so far as to mitigate the noise involved without me even asking to help with our stay at home work situation. I had been thinking about doing my project for some time so when I finally decided it was time I wanted it done yesterday. I called several places without success. No one wanted to take on a small project or they were full for months. Handyman Connection was happy to take on a small project like mine and they were able to get me on their schedule quickly and for a reasonable price. My project included closing off a doorway, cutting 2 full height walls to half walls and moving some electrical switches. My handyman Brian was on time every day and worked every day with only a lunch break each day. He was courteous to me and respectful of my property. The project was done completely in a reasonable amount of time and to my complete and happy satisfaction. I would recommend Handyman Connection to anyone and I will use them again without hesitation. The most important thing to me besides the quality of the work was that Handyman Connection has GREAT Communication with their customers. That was not so with other companies I contacted.

This wasnt the first time weve used Handyman Connection and weve never been disappointed in the quality of their work and their professionalism. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone looking for handyman work. Tim was the person who installed our faucet and handle set and though it looked like it would be an easy job , it turned out differently. But Tim handled it expertly.Edit: Since posting this review Ive tried to get them to come and fix a leak I thought was from the faucet work they did. I took several weeks before they returned my messages. Then they told me that the old pipes were leaking and the whole bathroom needed remodeling. Tim said that Kyle would contact me in a few days with a quote. That was over a month ago and after further efforts on my part to get their attention.I thought they would like me after my first review of them but maybe its not just me they treat so poorly.

Phil who did the work was great! He worked on a variety of small projects that I wanted done from plumbing to carpentry to light fixtures and all were done well. 5 stars for the work, but scheduling from the main office was a bit crazy. It was the start of the busy season, and they apparently had personnel issues causing scheduling delays, so I was assured this was not typically the case but am just reporting on my experience. Estimates and billing went smoothly though without any issues that some other reviewers have reported. Overall, I would definitely use them again for small home projects like I did.

I had a bit of a problem initially scheduling an estimate appointment, trying by email and phone, and it also took a month to get an an appointment for the work to be done but it was worth the wait. Dan was able to fix some outlets and replace several light fixtures for almost 1/3 the cost of the electricians estimate. When I first called I actually spoke to a person in the office, and after describing what I needed was given an appointment time for someone to come and give me an estimate. An actual appointment, not just a 3-hour window. Josh came and measured and took pictures of my walk-on closet that needed a new dropped ceiling to cover a new air handler unit. He gave me a notebook of all the company’s credentials, recommendations and photos of other projects. I had an estimate after about 15 minutes. I am so very happy with my new bathroom and linen closet thanks to Tim and Colton from Handyman Connection!My bathroom had a leak that was not visible (had been leaking for some time). The floor and walls were heavily damaged. The work to be done was a complete remodel and repair of the bathroom and an update to the linen closet. The bathroom had to be gutted to put in a new floor and walls (there was mold in the walls). My contractor, Tim, always stressed my safety first. He remediated the mold and removed the terribly damaged walls and floor. He always made me comfortable that I wasn’t in danger of getting ill from the damage in the bathroom, making sure that the issues were handled immediately.During the remodel of the bathroom and linen closet, Tim and his apprentice Colton prepared the areas including laying down sheeting to make sure the floors in my house were not damaged or made dirty. I support the process of apprenticeship for companies to grow experience by hands on learning and am happy that Handyman Connection does this. Tim’s vast experience and his patience in explaining not only what had to be done and how to do it but also why it was being done make him a great teacher and Colton has an innate skill and learns quickly. When they finished for the day, they wrapped up everything and made sure the house was clean and in order. I had part of the garage ready for the replacement tub, vanity, shower/tub surround, etc. Tim always asked if he could keep items in the garage before leaving anything – I expected remodeling tools, equipment and product would be in the garage, but Tim always asked.Tim got it quickly that I liked more of a heads up when they were coming to work on my house, so even though I got the email that they were coming, Tim would text me to give me an hour notice that they were coming. And they were always at my house at the hour.The bathroom floor is now rock solid (before it was spongy, I didn’t realize how bad it was because I had lived with it so long). The tub and surrounds are much safer and attractive than the old tub and tiles. We collaborated on the new fixtures and in addition to replacing the tub, window, vanity, lighting, and other fixtures, I also got items that I hadn’t had before – a medicine cabinet and ceiling vent. The mirror was repainted to match the vanity. The walls were repaired and have clean lines, were painted, the popcorn ceiling is now smooth.The linen closet is so wonderful! It used to have unfinished particle board shelves that bowed in the middle. Tim created new shelving that has finished edges that look so upscale! The closet got a new floor, painted and a new access panel into the bathtub hardware.My bathroom is amazing! First and most importantly, Tim made it safe removing the mold and replacing the damaged floor and walls. Second, Tim and Colton made it functional. I don’t worry about the electricity or plumbing (no leaks now!). Third, Tim and Colton made it beautiful. It looks like it was pulled from a magazine it is so beautiful. Not only the repairs, installations, updating but beautiful finishing touches on the baseboards, window, and walls have elevated the beauty of my bathroom.Throughout the process, they were professional, respectful, always explaining where they were in the process and including me. It was great to see the progress every day.It takes more than just ability to get results this wonderful. It takes caring and commitment to your customer. I appreciate and value the experience that I received from Handyman Connection and am looking forward to the next project (remodeling living room, bedroom, front entry) which has already been estimated and soon to be scheduled!
