I had an excellent experience with my recent roof replacement on my House and Garage with Quarve Contracting. The staff really helped me through the process of choosing the type of shingles and which roof venting system to use. Having done many jobs in the Twin Cities they supplied me with a list of addresses with different roofing options and colors so I could visit them and see the products installed.The schedule was all done in 3 days; Day 1 the dumpster arrived; Day 2 Complete tearing off the existing asphalt roofs and replacement with new asphalt roofs on house and garage; and Day3 the dumpster was hauled away.I have trusted Quarve with all my exterior home improvements (Steel siding, soffits, facia, gutters, windows, attic ventilation, and patio door) over these many years. They are a company I have come to know and trust. Their cleanup practices of the job site go above and beyond, and they extensively sweep the area daily with magnets to pick any nails or other small metal pieces. When they’re done, I know that my yard is clean.

My insurance was a nightmare to work with and the Quarve team continued to be diligent and work through 8 different claims adjusters that we had to work wtih through the entire project. It was a nightmare and stressful but they were reassuring through the process. In the end they worked to maximize my payout to ensure my house was repaired back to what it should be. The work was done very well and looks very professional. I would recommend them to work with if you need updates or storm repair.

My first point of contact was with Steve who came over and did an initial assessment of the roof, put together a proposal and worked with my insurance company. He was very professional, personable, knowledgeable and thorough. The rest of the team was professional and responsive as well. Their work was high quality and they also did a good job cleaning up. I would definitely recommend them.

Ive used Quarve for a few projects, both at my current house and at my last house. They communicate well, are very thorough, and helped navigate the process with my insurance company when my roof needed replacement. Once we had the approval from the insurance company, they were on-site the next day starting the job. They went to great lengths to protect our landscaping and new deck. If I have any additional exterior issues, I wouldnt hesitate to use Quarve again.

I found Rob and the team at Quarve Contracting to be outstanding. As someone who has worked with many contractors their expertise shows. They were punctual with calls, emails and texts throughout but completed the job very well and far earlier than expected.Our new steal roof is Perfect for our home where we wanted to accentuate the horizontal lines.The Edco product we chose does just that. Also Edco is a MN company- added bonus.I loved that the crew peeked under my hostas and other greenery to be sure nothing was missed.You’ll agree it looks great!

We contacted multiple contractors to replace our skylight. Most did not answer. Rob, of Quarve, answered and came to our house to quote. He was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. After talking about our skylight, I asked him about siding because we had been quoted that by others too. Rob, again was helpful, knowledgeable, and worked with us to give us competitive solutions. During the quoting process, Rob answered questions, made adjustments to the quote, and presented 3d images of possibilities for what our home could look like. Some time later I am writing this review. The skylight is replaced and the siding is done. We are happy with our experience with Quarve and most of all, the owner Rob bringing us through the process. If you have big exterior projects, we would definitely recommend Quarve Contracting. Ask for Rob!

Quarve Contracting recently took on a small job on my roof where the previous roofer took shortcuts and caused interior problems. Quarve investigated the problem and listened respectfully to my concerns and questions before making any repairs. On the day of the work conscientious young men who are fit for the job and concerned with doing it correctly and up to code showed up. They informed me of all progress and backed it up with before and after photos of the work. Upon completion they cleaned up the work area and followed up with me to be sure as a customer I was satisfied. They were excellent!

Quarve Contacting is our contractor of choice. They have managed 4 projects for us over the last six years. Anything that could be updated on our exterior has been completed. This includes both metal (installed for our solar panels) and asphalt roof, windows and doors, steel siding, soffits, fascia, and gutters. They worked directly with our insurance company as necessary and completed all warranty registrations. The quality of work and professionalism was consistent over the course of these projects. Quarve Construction has done an outstanding job of replacing my roof on two separate occasions. The first occasion was replacing a very old roof back in 1999, at which time we also replaced siding and window trim wraps. My most recent experience was a roof replacement on the same house this last Fall 2023, a result of the May 2022 hail storm that caused considerable damage in the Como Park area of St Paul. Quarve’s customer service has consistently been exemplary. I’m an engineer, so I greatly appreciate Quarve’s attention to detail. They are very innovative, and suggest items that might improve ventilation in my house or attic, etc. They never put any pressure on you, are always friendly, and I would use them again if we have another severe hailstorm!!!!

Quarve was fantastic to work with. The workers were extremely friendly and professional. Project manager Toby was quick to respond and was able to solve any strange issues that came up when dealing with my 120 year old home. When searching for contract companies I chose Quarve because they were responsive, they seemed excited about the potential of my project, had ideas on how to make things even better, they had a competitive price, and as a sole female homeowner they did not tell me I needed to have the man of the house sign off on things (which other companies actually told me). Overall a surprisingly smooth experience, I recommend them to family and friends. Will be using them for all projects in the future.

Quarve replaced my roof and repaired my gutters. Right from the beginning I knew this was the company to the job. Everyone was on time and most of all no pressure to buy. We are pleased with the overall workmanship in regard to the replacement of the roof shingles, skylights, and siding on the second story. The minor concerns we had after the job was completed were addressed adequately and in a timely manner. The entire crew was hard working and efficient. Communications with both Pat and Rob were constant, helpful, and explanatory throughout the process as far as the daily progress and next steps in completing the project. No major issues to report other than the job took a bit longer than we had expected. And because of the late time frame (early November) we were concerned about the use of caulk/paint and the ability for them to dry properly. It was fortunate that the guys had relatively good weather through to completion.

We used Quarve because they were not enthusiastic about exploiting the storm-damage restoration process like the other companies were. Instead, Quarve wanted the work done right including the final aesthetic. Quarve fought hard against our insurance company for proper coverage too, and only in honesty. Quarve was/is fully capable of over-winter work and will return for any imperfections. We have a small, modest home with vinyl and asphalt and Quarve still treated us with respect and craftsmanship.

It outshines the neighborhood, literally & figuratively :) Pat, Julie, and the Quarve crew were very friendly throughout and always responsive- we didnt have any issues. I have added to the end of this review. We have now used Quarve on our own house since they did such a great job on my Dads house............I have never been so impressed with a company. We needed a new roof for my Dads house and got four estimates from different companies. Steve from Quarve came to the house, on time, and explained every step to me. Their quote was extremely competitive but I felt confident after talking with Steve that they were the right choice. Before he came out, he had called Certainteed, where my Dad worked for 30 some years, and found out that he got an employee discount. I didnt even ask him to do that. After that, I needed them to find matching shingles to the garage. They went to Wisconsin to get them. Great! The day they were scheduled to put on the new roof, they were there bright and early, working hard. Rob, the owner was there and what an honest and friendly guy! The hard working guys cleaned up after and did not miss a thing. A couple days later, there was a small, very small issue and I called Rob. He had someone out that day to take care of it. A couple days later Molly, from the office sent the invoice and all the papers from Certainteed that I needed for an employee discount for my Dad. What a great experience! And what great people! Ok, now the added part of the review. We hired Quarve to replace our roof and gutters that were damaged from an earlier storm. We have a larger roof with a lot of different peaks so I wouldnt think it would be an easy job. Rob came out and gave us a quote and time estimate. We wanted to upgrade shingles to a better brand and strength. He had great choices. They gave us a date and came out and installed them on that date. The men doing the roofing were great. Hard working, friendly, and were cleaning up any shingles that came off the roof. I couldnt ask for more. A week later the guys came to install the gutters. They were awesome, also. When the project was finished, both Rob and Toby followed up with us and did an inspection of their own. They called us later to make sure they met our expectations. They did, and more. Hopefully Ill never need another roof, but if I do, they will be doing it.

Pat did a great job of listening and considering all aspects of our re-roofing project. He took his time to look all through our roof/attic spaces and developed a comprehensive plan to not just re-roof our house, but also better manage hot/cold transfer between that roof and living space to better prevent ice buildup/damming. The roof looks great. The install team was wonderful and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Pat was involved throughout the entire process - from selling through installation - to make sure we got what we wanted and the process was done to ours (and his) satisfaction. Quarve recently completed a major siding repair/replacement on our house. About half the boards were replaced, along with repairs to rotted out plywood underneath and window sills. Rob (the owner) worked patiently with us covering all the options, repeatedly answering question and giving us plenty of time to review and research our path forward. The work crew did a good job following the plan and executing on the details. Rob was there every day - from personally selecting/approving the incoming materials to identifying and addressing the smallest loose ends to ensure we were totally happy. The final result looks great!

We had been plagued by ice dams and water intrusion for all 19 years weve lived in this house. Quarves work would make the fourth time we had to re-roof the back of our house following several other contractors. Quarve partnered with Houle insulation and coordinated schedules so they could remove the roof, allow the insulation work to be done and re-roof all in the same day. They removed some whirly vents and understood the very complex construction of our multi-pitched roof. They took pictures along the way as evidence of the work that was done. Rob, the owner was on site and everyone I came into contact with was very professional. I was confident things were finally resolved after they did the work, but here we are in January and its like a dream come true . . . no ice dams! It is such a relief to allow us to sell this house with confidence that weve resolved the LONG standing issues. I plan to use them for window replacements too. HIGHLY recommend!

We had our steel shingle roof installed last May. Their crew did a great job, my wife only found 2 screws in all of the yard after they cleaned up. (Our neighbor reroofed a couple years ago and we had almost an ice cream bucket of nails that ended up in our yard from that company.) We waited for the winter before doing the review to see how it handled the winter. The snow slid off anytime the temp went above zero. Looks great and they did a special flare on the bottom of our valleys to match the change in pitch, water shoots way out from the house. Ours is a 1908 cross gable with steep pitch, so not an easy one to install.

I highly recommend using Quarve Contracting! They are super professional and thorough with their consultation regarding the project. I was shown pictures of any issues the consultant thought could be potential problems. He explained the whole project to me and gave me pros and cons regarding types of roofing material. The project supervisor came by the day before the roofing job started to inspect and look for issues. He was super helpful and offered to get us the paint to pre-paint the siding pieces they needed to install. That saved me from climbing up to the roof to paint the replacement pieces after the fact! The workers on the day of the project were careful to cover my walls and landscaping to protect them from any of the roofing materials and other construction debris. They did a great job cleaning up afterward. Of course the newly installed roof looks great! I would not hesitate to hire Quarve again for any future projects.

Quarve Contracting did an excellent job reroofing our home, installing new skylights and other smaller improvements. They were patient and persistent in dealing with our insurance company which was reluctant to approve our claim for weather related roof damage. We had some work delays, but Quarve regularly kept us informed of the job status. All of their work was very professional. We have no reservations in giving Quarve a high recommendation.

Last summer I contracted Quarve to re-side my house, repair damaged facia and replace a garage utility door. They did an excellent job. From the original meeting with Rob where we discussed the work to be done to the final check out.This spring, after a particularly snowy winter, one section of my gutters where the facia was replaced, had a gutter hook come loose and Quarve sent out someone to fix the problem - no questions asked.I would definitely recommend Quarve Contracting for siding work (I had LP installed) and other home improvement work.

We interviewed 9 different contractors for our job. Quarve got every requirement right. We had to break our project into chunks, spread out over about a year, and Pat & Julie were great to work with through all of it. Our project included new metal roofing, seamless steel siding, we turned an ugly porch into a to-die-for sunroom, added a porch, built a garage and attached it to the house via a small breezeway. I couldnt be happier with the result. The crews were all friendly and very professional. I would hire them again and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a quality job.

I had a very good experience working with Quarve Contracting. Pat came out and gave me a very competitive and informative bid for siding two dormers on my house. I felt comfortable and confident in his knowledge. He explained what would need to be done and what my options were. He was also very open about what additional cost there may be after work began (one does not know what’s under the surface until its removed). The bid was not the lowest, but out of 5 bids, they were the in the middle. By far the most informative.After choosing Quarve I began working with Julie on scheduling. I had some major delays on my end and Julie was very understanding and never pushy. Life gets in the way and Julie was understanding of this. Maybe I’ll send her a xmas card this year.Work began 4/22 and was completed 4/23. A little bit of delay only because of the never ending winter here in Minne-snow-da. I met Kevin and his crew who had come to do the work. Kevin was very polite and friendly. He spent the time to address all my questions and concerns. He accommodated a couple of last minute changes with no issue. He also did not talk down to me as some people do when you are not knowledgeable of their trade. Kevin made me comfortable going to work while they worked on my house (not easy for me). Kevin kept me informed as to the progress, schedule, and estimated time of completion. After completion the crew cleaned everything up. Didn’t even find a nail in the grass. Kevin made sure to check out to make sure we were satisfied.In closing, the dormers look fantastic! The color is a perfect match to what I wanted. The quality looks amazing too (I looked over it with binoculars ;)). Corners and seams are tight, window wrapping is square and solid, all lines are even. This is defiantly a skilled crew. I am very happy with the work that was done and would recommend these guys to any of my friends or family.
