    Emily at the front desk was very responsive and very helpful in scheduling everything. Scott the owner is very personable and showed up right on time to provide the initial evaluation and cost breakdown for the project and readily answered all my questions. He also provided me a great contact for having the bathroom vanity granite cut in place for two new sinks which was key for their installation. In addition to the sinks his crew installed 3 new faucets and 2 new toilets including all new valves for everything. The two guys doing the work were friendly and professional and quick to answer any questions or address any concerns I had. The quality of workmanship was high and everything was done to my satisfaction. Overall very pleased and would definitely hire them again.

    We had a leaking Water Heater and needed repairs done in the same day. We have a handicap daughter and needed hot water for feeds, meds, etc. They were the most pleasant guys. Also I contacted their service before they had open. The on-call man that answered the phone greeted me with one only of a kind greetings I had ever heard and he did put a smile on my face. Down to the receptionist that I spoke to, was so kind to me. I would recommend Putman Plumbing for any Plumbing service.     Kaleb and his team were extremely efficient and professional. Kaleb told me exactly what the price was going to be and he charged exactly that. He was delightful and knowledgeable. He checked the warranty for my broken water heater. Kaleb replaced my water heater and included the key information on the side of the tank: date/installer/etc. He also taped the paperwork to the tank. This was a wonderful experience. Putnam Plumbers are my new plumbers. Thank you!

    Everything was easy and professional: the initial call to scheduling to having the estimate & work done on the same day. We called about a leaking tub, and we got everything fixed/upgraded for about half of what a private contractor quoted us. Dave was thorough in explaining everything and cleaning up afterwards. I would definitely recommend them and we will be repeat customers!

    We recently were looking for someone to replace the copper pipes in our house as they were beginning to fail as well as run a new line for our refrigerator. We had a great experience with Scott as he came out and walked through the house and explained our options. He got us our quote and we were able to get on the schedule relatively quickly. They estimated 4 days of work and the two guys that came out were professional and knowledgeable. When I would ask questions, if they didnt have the answer they would reach out to Scott and get me an answer. Overall I would recommend Putman for your plumbing needs. Very knowledgeable and professional.

Professional scheduling with a very friendly customer service coordinator and timely arrival on the date scheduled. . Ethan went over the true cost of the job once he knew how much work was to be done and even conducted a free 5 point inspection on other plumbing areas before leaving. Ethan was also super friendly and was able to fix the problem within the time he told me it would take.Im glad I called!

We discovered a number of plumbing mysteries that were pretty unpleasant when we moved into our new to us home and they were able to look at all of them, figure out fixes, and create a plan of action.     The job involved updating 70-year old obsolete (and leaky) bath and shower valves and drain mechanism with limited physical access. Another company had promised a quote but ultimately declined, conceding that they could find no suitable replacements and could not update the fixtures without tearing up the tiled shower wall. In his initial consultation, Charlie recognized all of the same difficulties but conceived of a solution that would bring us up to code without any demo to the shower wall. The job posed several unexpected additional difficulties, which Charlie and Colby were able to able to beat, and somehow they pulled it off within their original time estimate! The new fixtures look great, and we thank them and Putman Plumbing for helping us out.

The pipe below the sink has been installed years ago by another plumber and they had not given me the correct one according to code (I had no idea).Now, with the new one, there is a feature that will make access much easier in the future. And I also went with the Bio-Clean product to prevent future clogging.Its such a relief to be able to use my kitchen sink normally again 😊Today, Aug 7, 2024 I had Jay again to replace the old expansion tank thats been leaking.He and his assistant knew exactly what to do, got to work and were finished installing the new expansion tank in less than an hour.Both Jay and his assistant were very nice, professional, and glad to answer my questions.I would highly recommend Putman Plumbing and their workers like Jay and his assistant.

    Had another plumber install a new well water pressure tank and when completed noted my well pump was bad, needed to be replaced, house had no water, and he would be happy to provide me an estimate. It was working fine before he arrived. I called Putnam and scheduled an appointment the next day. Jay Payne diagnosed the problem, fixed the tank install, and restored water to the house in about an hour for a very reasonable fee. He also provided an estimate for a new well pump when I need to replace down the road . . . .

    We had an issue with our hot water and called Putman, they offered emergency service, but we declined because it wasnt an emergency. The same day they had a cancellation and called us promptly to let us know of the opening. Kaleb came that day. They had sent over his photo ahead of time so we knew who to expect.     Charlie and Ryan were outstanding. Right on time, honest as the day is long, fixed my water heater so that I didnt have to buy a new one (WOW), diagnosed the problem with my garbage disposal and, although they couldnt fix it (it was an electrical problem), recommended a couple of good electricians. They even found a bad flapper on a toilet and fixed that without even charging me! They gave me great advice and they were just super nice. The original pipes in the house had some issues from the builder and Putman replaced them, in addition to two faucet installations, kitchen faucet install, servicing the reverse osmosis kitchen water filter, toilet install, and repairing leaks in those original pipes before we eventually decided to replace.

    Our entire experience with Jay and Putman plumbing was positive. They responded quickly to the message we left, the receptionist was friendly and efficient, we didnt have to wait forever for an available time slot, we got a reminder text the day before, and then on the day of they texted us with a photo of the plumber so wed know who the guy standing on our porch was. Their price was fair, they identified the problem quickly, solved it quickly, and didnt leave a mess behind when they were done. We put our toddler down for his nap in the room that shares a wall with the bathroom they were working in, and they were respectful of that and kept the noise to a minimum without us even asking them to do so.We will absolutely use Putman again when we next need a plumber, and unreservedly recommend them to anyone who needs one now.

I called when I got it in the mail and was told to present when the technician was here. The job yesterday represented the last item on my list of over $6,000 I spent with Putnam since I moved here in the spring and have no other projects in mind.     We called because of a toliet we could not unclog. Jay immediately checked out our pump, and realized it wasnt working. He removed it, found the source of the clog (too much tissue being used), cleaned, and replaced it.He did such a thorough job - checked the outlet to ensure it had power, checked our fuse box, and quickly figured the issue out. He also changed out our water filter, and found a secondary leak from a loose PVC pipe.My family has used Putnam Plumbing for years, so I knew I was in good hands. I told him that, and he was so incredibly helpful by showing me what needed to be done for regular maintenance.Im sure another plumber couldve easily tried to upsell me on unnecessary replacements.     If we could give more than five stars, we would. On short notice, Scott and Justin replaced our well pump, repaired several locations in the electric wiring in the well that had been abraded and took measures that will prevent the problem from recurring in the future. They came at 4 pm and stayed until the job was done and done right. They were extremely thorough, competent, and enjoyable to work with. It was cold and dark and even after we told them to go home and come back another day, they refused to leave before our water well supply was restored. We would not hesitate to hire them again for all our plumbing needs!!

    We’ve been dealing with a clog for about a year now that we’ve had work done on by another plumbing company, and we finally reached out to Putman again when we were on our third round of dealing with this issue. Putman was very informative, extremely thorough, and gave us a clear understanding of what we were looking at for the future as far as long-term repair. They cleared what they could and were upfront about the fact that they didn’t know how long it would last since this is a bigger issue than we initially thought, and I respect that. Cleaned up the area great, and very nice to talk to. Highly recommend!

    Daniel and Justin were as pleasant as could be. They were here for maybe an hour to diagnose my basement puddle problem, then wrote up an estimate which turned out to be exactly what I paid later. The office promptly emailed and mailed me the work proposal, the biggest part of which was digging a trench in my back yard to replace a well line that was leaking outside and flooding even parts of my yard.Before the work I had several phone conversations with Emily at the office, who was delightful and helpful. Bronwyn(sp?) and Scott were also pleasant and helpful.After I returned the signed contract with a deposit I got a pretty quick appointment for the work. Daniel & Justin returned, along with three others not employed by Putman to mark utility lines and dig the trench.The plumbers and excavator were here pretty much the whole work day, the day before Thanksgiving. The trench, dug with a backhoe, was maybe 30 feet long and 3 feet deep, and by the time they left the lawn looked as good as new, with the ground leveled again, tamped down, grass seed dispersed, and straw covering the bare dirt.I was very pleased they didnt have to tear up some ground-level wood decking as first feared, since the supply line ran under it for a distance of maybe 10 feet. It made their job harder but they did it. I was back to normal water flow even before they finished restoring the lawn.They returned on schedule the day after Thanksgiving to finish patching the hole they had to make with a jackhammer in the concrete block wall in my basement. My only disappointment with the whole project was some of the cleanup inside, after theyd done such a nice job restoring the lawn.Some details, none of which by themselves would have bothered me at all: When they left, I discovered the water heater and pressure tank were dirty, my mop, which they politely asked to borrow, was filthy (understandably from all the jackhammering), the excess hardened foam which had temporarily filled the hole was left behind in a container of mine, which they hadnt asked to use. (No big deal and Id have happily let them use it, just as I volunteered some lighting and other things; Id just prefer to be asked.) A couple of mouse bait stations on the floor were still covered with dust and small debris. And the new power cable to the well pump, which they installed alongside the water supply line was covered in multiple spots with the patching material they used to fill the wall hole.Because they were both considerate and attentive to my needs, Im confident that if I had seen and mentioned any of this before they left, theyd have been apologetic and would have gone out of their way to use only their own equipment from that point on, and to clean up whatever I asked them to. It took about half an hour for me to clean it all up. But I mention all this more for information than a significant complaint. To some people these things might not even be worth mentioning.Back on the plus side they did a good job mopping the floor, and one of the guys also took the extra time to clean my carpeted stairway where someone -- quite possibly ME -- had left tracks of dirt on the previous visit. I really appreciated that. And I want to add that I dont know how much cleanup typically falls on the customer when any plumber does a job, especially such a big and dirty one. Pretty much every negative Ive mentioned has been merely cosmetic or a matter of principle; not about functionality. I point it out only for the benefit of others. The important stuff -- the plumbing -- all seems to be great.All three times they were here, they were consistently informative, friendly and pleasant, and appeared to do good work. They were never too busy to answer my questions, politely and to my satisfaction. Ditto the office staff. Overall Im very pleased with the work, the company, and the finished job. Id been pleased with them before this job, and I wont hesitate to use them again.

    Scheduling the work with Emily from Putman was a joy. She was so kind, courteous, and professional. Emily told me who would be performing the work and called the night before to make certain the appointment was still at a good time. Kaleb, the technician, was there at the scheduled time. He was extremely professional and detailed as he explained the cost of the work I requested and warranties on parts and labor. I feel the charges for this work were reasonable and competitive. Kaleb was very careful to wear shoe protection on my floors and cleaned up each of the 5 work areas when he was finished the installations/repairs. Putman Plumbing is highly recommended.

    We discovered several areas of leakage in our basement ceiling around 7:00pm on a Thursday night. In our panic, we called Putnam Plumbing. Within a very short time, we got a call back from Scott. He was friendly and helpful and advised us on steps to take to minimize the damage. He was out for an emergency call by about 8:30pm. He was thorough, knowledgeable, patient with all of our many questions and just exceedingly helpful and kind. Though we have a mess on our hands, we couldn’t be happier with the service we received.     I’ve trusted Putman for two jobs in two different homes. Both times, Charlie was the primary technician. The first was a major job. The price was fair, the crew professional and friendly, and the work was excellent. The second time was today when I feared a well pump failure at my less than three year old new home. Charlie quickly diagnosed the real problem as faulty wiring at the well head. A quick repair had us up and running in no time, again at a fair price.

    We had a great experience with Putman Plumbing. We had postponed a lot of repairs because of covid so we had a list of problems. Our plumber Scott took the time to explain everything in detail and give us the education to help manage and maintain our old house pipes going forward.     Weve tried two other plumbers in the past and were never satisfied with the quality of their work. Putman Plumbing surpassed all our high expectations! After getting our kitchen remodeled and our contractor messing up the install of our garbage disposal and reverse osmosis system, we called Putman Plumbing to correctly install these units. We were blown away by everything. From the pleasant way our call was answered by the secretary, to the ease of scheduling our appointment, and all the way to the clean and organized manner our plumbing issue and home was treated. Charlie came out with another young man and both were professional in appearance and workmanship. Charlie clearly explained the pricing before he began. He was able to fix the messed up job our inadequate contractor did quickly and without issue. They left our home as clean as they found it, which the neat freak in me greatly appreciated! Ill be honest...I decided we were switching to Putman Plumbing from the moment they stepped in our home and immediately put on shoe covers. I was sold from that moment on!     Another plumber changed the cartridge in our masterbath shower and unbeknownst to us created a slow leak that caused drywall damage to our first floor ceiling. Charlie did a great job fixing the plumbing issue and replacing our shower handle with a much better handle. We will definitely use Putman plumbing from here on out.

    I highly recommend Putman Plumbing - our water heater was leaking and needed replacement. They were extremely helpful and scheduled an appointment extra quickly.
