He took the extra steps to explain to us all the necessary repairs that we needed to have our installation completed.     Having lived in Miami for about a year, this is the most satisfying service Ive experienced and I highly recommend it to anyone in need. We needed to install a garbage disposal, but our sink setup was challenging—deep sink, minimal space, and the drain pipe very close to a side panel, leaving little room to work. We found Douglas Orr Plumbing at Home Depot. The plumber was highly professional and efficient, leaving the area spotless with no stains. The installation was handled without any major alterations, and the plumber patiently explained how to use the system. This has been my most satisfying service experience this year—extremely pleased!!!

    I am very pleased with all the services provided by Douglas Orr plumbing. Their office staff was kind and very knowledgeable. This morning Douglas orr sent out their service technicians Angel and Bryan. They where very professional and kind and they very punctual. The service removed and disposable of my old toilet. Once the old toilet was out they installed the new toilet and left my house completely clean. I am very satisfied with Douglas orr plumbing and I highly recommend their services if you need a plumber. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    I can’t state enough about the professionalism from Douglas Orr plumbing. I first spoke to Eddy, the service manager who got all the information from me and he was extremely professional. It was determined that an emergency visit was needed. Angel was the service representative that came and he was courteous, respectful, and explained in detail what he was doing every step of the way.     Esteban was absolutely fantastic! He installed my new water heater with impressive speed and precision. His attentiveness and patience made the entire process smooth and stress-free.     Where do I even start , I want to thank the entire staff at Douglas Orr for always providing exceptional customer service. We have had an issue with for years with the hot water system and it appears that for some reason no is able to pin point exactly where is the source of the problem. This morning Angel and Matt arrived and not only where they the only ones who where able to take care of the issue but they where true professional and it shows in the way They took the extra steps in ensuring that my house was clean during and after the repairs. Angel is such and effective listener and was able to answer ever single one of my questions like a true professional that he is. My first impression on the phone was really good, that company stands out (positively) above any other Ive seen and heard here in the greater Miami area. Super polished and professional. The same goes for Mike, the service technician that Orr sent here today to exchange the heater for a new one.     Douglas orr plumbing company was a great help. I work in the leasing office for Village at Delray and we had an emergency on property in our pool area where the shower head was broken off with water pouring out. I contacted the company at 8:30 pm Angel the plumber contacted me to give an eta. He arrived within 45 min to an hour to fix the problem. He was professional, communicated what was needed to be done, took and sent pictures of the finished item and showed us what to do for next time just in case it happens again.

    My service request consisted of a water heater replacement. And although it required 2 visits to complete the process I am quite happy with the outcome. Initially the first visit identified that our electrical wiring needed to be updated and after being referred to the extremely competent Alex Electric team to help with this upgrade my 2nd service call was with René Balboa who was an absolute blessing. He was prompt, efficient and professional. The new water heater works great and i appreciated his assistance in getting the job done. Being on the 2nd floor makes you appreciate the value that your paying for regarding the sweat equity needed for this type of installation.     I requested service based on text messages from our water heater indicating a problem with the heat pump. The technician who responded to the request was very thorough and patient. This was a somewhat ill-defined problem that was not intuitively obvious. He tried several things to see if we could trigger the error message but to no avail. He hung in there with me and kept working this idea and that to see if we could tease out the problem. Although in the end, we hypothesized that the culprit could have been the power surges that have been fairly frequent coinciding with the rainy weather may have contributed to the error messages I received. All in all, I greatly appreciated the service call and his patience in working to find out if there was truly a problem with the heat pump. Should I need plumbing service down the road, I now know whom to call.

    Firstly we want to thank Douglas Orr for their incredible professionalism. Every time we’ve called they have responded in a timely and professional manner.     My spouse and I were in need of a water heater replacement. We interviewed at least 7 plumbing companies, but none of them gave us a feeling of ease and acceptability. From thousands in overcharges in the estimates for permit fees, to making attempts to schedule installation without permits, unanswered emails, unreturned calls, and the list of nightmares goes on and on. My spouse and I went into prayer one morning because we knew at this point, we were going to need to totally rely on God to connect us with a reliable and truthful plumber because we were getting nowhere. That morning immediately after prayer, I got in my car to go to work, and when I turned the corner, a Douglas Orr Plumbing Truck was sitting at the stop sign at the very next corner! I knew this was God! I waited for the truck to pull along side of me at the next major intersection and I asked the driver (Randy) for a business card. My first question to him was about permits, and he assured me that this company certainly follow City requests for permits. I contacted the office and spoke to Ileana the Permits Coordinator, and explained the nightmares we encountered. She was very understanding and then connected me to Jose to schedule the estimate and installation. Everything was smooth sailing from there, installation was a professional job, followed by City inspection and I was thanking God and still am thanking God and even consulted with this company for additional plumbing work in the home, because I truly feel it was nobody but the Lord that connected us with this company after we earnestly petitioned God for help, and he obviously has High Favor with this company because the answer was waiting right outside our door, and God chose this company for the job and we are at peace and very pleased! That 430 yesterday The service technician Angel arrived and helped us shut the gas down to our building to make the necessary repairs to repair out gas line.     An excellent, professional and responsive company with skilled plumbers.Ive had excellent, responsive service from Douglas Orr, everything from replacing a hot water heater, to replacing old cast iron plumbing pipes. Most recently they completed a significant replacement of old plumbing pipes. We had been out of town for the summer, and after using the second floor shower discovered substantial water damage in our dining room. Chris, from Douglas Orr promptly came to our house, and after helping move furniture, etc. he asked permission to cut an access hole into the leaking ceiling so he could identify the issues. He discovered cracks and rusted out portions of old plumbing pipes. We both agreed that the problem required major surgery to replace the affected pipes. We then agreed on the portion of the ceiling that needed removal and I had a carpenter handle the demo work. Douglas Orr then promptly scheduled the plumbing work that needed repair, gave me an agreed upon fixed price quote for time and materials. Chris and a helper returned and completed the work in the time estimated, and not only completed it professionally but made extra efforts to protect our furniture, floors, etc.; clean up after each day, and on completion of the job gave me a detailed review of what had been accomplished. Their work area was completely cleaned at the end of the job, and a few days after completion Chris called to confirm that the work had been repaired to my satisfaction.I greatly appreciated the quality of service, the prompt service, the full explanation of what needed to be done, and the extra care in dealing with our furnishings.Richard Handley

    Luis silot is probably the BEST plumber I have ever seen. He has many decades of experience. He installed a new toilet and put in a toilet seat on another one for me.     I almost did not called Douglas Plumbing due to some negative reviews and Im glad I did called them. I called on a Wednesday, they gave me the option for two different days, Thursday from 10-2 or Friday at 9AM. We confirmed for Friday at 9AM, I got a follow up call on Thursday, they arrived on time Friday, called me to advise they were waiting for security to assign parking. Even though we didnt had an actual problem with the PRV ( fault of our administration) they couldnt been nicer, if it was another company they would have replaced it and charged me just because we dont know any better (has happened in the past) the person still cleaned our faucets and explained to us what was wrong. Customer service was extremely helpful and nice the 3 times I spoke with them, people should be very careful when writhing negative reviews and be fair. I have had in the past horrible experience with other plumbing companies in Miami and this was a pleasure working with them. Thank you! Keep up the great work!

    I was refer to this vendor by my condo association to have my water heater serviced. The thermostat relay was being constantly triggered.     I have never needed plumbing services before. However I purchased some flushable baby wipes which ended up being not so flushable and developed a huge plumbing issue in my condo. The issue was so bad the floor beneath me developed water damage to their restroom. I called Douglas Orr plumbing and they were amazing. Boris was the technician and he was on-time, professional, knowledgeable and the work was done efficiently. I was a little hesitant to proceed with a company that charges per hour because many companies take advantage and work as slow as molasses. However, this was not the case with this company. At one point, Boris thought he was going to have to remove the toilet but he attempted via the shower and was successful. What did he find.... the flushable baby wipes! I had a great experience and would truly recommend this company for your plumbing needs. Thank you for a job well done.
