Jeff and his team did an exceptional job on our addition. From the moment I met Jeff I knew he’d be our contractor. He was very professional, listened to our ideas and worked with in our budget. Him and Lisa mapped everything out for us so we always knew who was coming to do what on which days. His crew that did the work was amazing and so great. I would definitely recommend lost pond construction to anyone that wants to do a remodel or addition like we did.

I had a great experience with Jeff and his team! They were friendly and responsive. They knew I had a really short timeline and worked with me in order for me to be able to move in my new house. The project started with a bathroom, but then added in flooring as well. The process was seemless. They kept me updated when issues arose. The best part was they had great solutions and were able to pivot and fix them all! It was my first remodeling experience and they made me feel special and well informed.

The project went really well. Jeff and his crew were quite flexible when encountering situations where a decision had to be made, allowing me to insert my two cents, Also, they kept the inevitable mess to a minimum and tried to clean up on daily basis. Overall, a reasonable timetable was kept, in spite of some material shortages due to the covid situation.The project was construction of a loft in an upstairs attic space. This attic space was over the den, and master bedroom and bathroom on one side of the house. The developed upstairs area on the other side was three bedrooms and associated bathrooms. The complexity of the project was twofold: The ceiling heights of the den, bathroom and bedroom were different, being 10 ft, 12 ft, and 11, ft,. respectively. For the loft to have a level floor and to maximize the floor area, the den ceiling height became the reference and the bathroom ceiling was dropped by 2 ft. and the bedroom ceiling by 1 ft.. Also. to access the loft space a 10 ft high walkway had to be built on the back side of the main floor living room, connecting the loft area and the hallway associated with the upstairs bedrooms. This necessitated raising the living room ceiling from 14 ft, to 18 ft. In the process two skylights were installed in the living room and three skylights in the loft area. Professional and quality work at a fair price! Working with Jeff and his team at Lost Pond Construction was a great experience. Jeff took time to learn our style and understand our situation. We hired Lost Pond to make improvements to our master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and refinish our hard wood floors all while our family was preparing to move back to the United States from overseas. Jeff went out of his way to coordinate with our extended family for home access until we moved back. Putting in hours over the holidays, his team was able to finish the project ahead of schedule. Lost Pond made everything they improved look like new and we couldnt be happier. The interaction we had with his team was professional and courteous. Jeff is extremely responsive and easy to contact either through email or phone calls. I highly recommend Lost Pond for home improvement projects. If we continue with more projects that involve a contractor, well definitely use Lost Pond.

Our project came in on budget, and is beautiful. We had a very difficult space and Lost Pond did a fantastic redesign that totally reimagined our space. The crew doing the work was very skilled, and professional. Really nice group of people, and I would definitely use again.

We recently had a full bathroom installed in our finished basement by Lost Pond Construction. We were very pleased with the process and the result! Jeff Tortorea was great to work and explained the process very well. Lisa Lynn developed 4 different floor plans for us to look at and modified them as we explained our needs. She also was very helpful in assisting us in selecting flooring, fixtures etc. The crew that did the installation were reliable, efficient and did excellent work. They finished the bathroom in 9 days. Just as important to us was the fact that Jeff and Lisa were so accessible! Whenever we had a question they responded quickly with either an email or phone call or both. After the job was done we noticed a small leak in the shower fixture and they came out the next day and fixed. They definitely stand behind their work!

Lisa and Jeff did a great job of listening to me as to what I wanted in my long awaited remodeling of my kitchen. Both responded to my emails in a timely and efficient manner. They gave me wonderful drawings and beautiful options for my countertops and cabinets. Both warm and friendly people. After several months of decision making and three other contractors, I have gone with another company in Madison. Upscale and attractive operation. I wish them well and hope 2021 is a good year for them.

We’ve hired this company twice for door installations and some work on our back patio ceiling both times the guys who came did good work, were pleasant and respectful of us and our property. They showed up on time did what they needed to do, cleaned up after themselves, just an overall good experience. You should definitely consider them if you have a project you need help with.

Lost Pond did a first floor remodel. Jeff, the owner and Lisa, the designer were very responsive to my questions and concerns.When the original subcontractor walked out on the job, leaving me a non-working kitchen two days before Christmas, Jeff gathered a new crew, including himself, to at least provide me a semi working kitchen. I was very grateful, as I know they all had family to get to the holidays. Some needing to travel.Although the job took much longer than anticipated, I did appreciate the communication from Jeff and Lisa. The delays were due to flawed counter tops that they sent back. Thank you for catching that! As well as, me sending back multiple cabinet doors. Jeff and Lisa were very patient with me. Having spent $60,000, it was very overwhelming for me at times.Thank you for your patience

Jeff and Lisa were the best to work with on this project of turning my small kitchen and dining room into a larger eat in kitchen with a half bath added in as well. Lisas designs were on point as she listened to what I wanted and learned my personality to bring that into the room and make it a great space. Jeff organized one of the best construction crews Ive ever dealt with. Jeff and the crew that worked on the project were excellent at listening to my concerns and addressing them with great professionalism and responsiveness. We had a room addition put onto our house this past summer. This is the third project in the last 10 years that we used Lost Pond Construction. With any type of construction project there are always unforeseen things that happen. We had nothing major come up, but between weather and material scarcity and Lost Pond was great in getting our project done in a very timely fashion on budget. Attention to detail with this company is second to none. I feel bad when I hear friends that have used other companies when they have had problems with their projects. It seems that no one asked me before they start a project and who I’ve used in the past. I highly recommend this company for any home improvement project needs.
