We hired Acclaim for our whole house renovation. From start to finish, everything went smoothly. The entire staff was not only polite, but very friendly. They did everything the said they would, communicated and were responsive through the whole process. All the work they did is beautiful and flawless, they even fixed little things here and there that didnt seem quite right. Were so glad that we trusted them! We feel like we hit the jackpot and we love our house. We wouldnt hesitate to call them in the future if the need arises.

We cannot say enough good things about Mike Pirc and all of Acclaims employees - the tradesmen, supporting staff, office staff (hopefully not forgetting anyone here!). They recently completed a renovation that encompassed pretty much our entire main floor, during which we lived in our basement for just a little over three months. Additional to the mix, our adult daughter is profoundly autistic, so we really appreciated their awareness and kind sensitivity. Across the board, everyone who was part of the renovation effort was knowledgeable, competent, considerate, understanding, timely, professional, responsive. Acclaim effectively worked through some challenges with our requests, circumstances, and even some unforeseen quirks of our 40-year old home to bring our renovation in at the agreed upon budget and time. They worked seamlessly with our equally stellar designer. There is no perfect process, but the Acclaim crew was pretty darn close. We are so pleased with the outcome of the renovation.Well be working with them again next year to work on needed updates to our upstairs bathrooms. Much smaller scale, but we totally trust that theyll do another great job.We highly recommend Acclaim - great people, great work.

We have worked with Acclaim on 2 major projects - complete renovations of our kitchen (2022) and master bathroom (2024).This is a high-quality company, extremely well-organized and reliable, with excellent tradesmen who arrive on time, take pride in their work and insist on the job being done right. We have gotten many compliments on the appearance and quality of the work.During our major projects they have been wonderful guests in our home, doing a neat job and protecting the rest of the house, controlling dust and limiting disruptions.Renovations require adapting to the underlying structure of the house, intelligently adjusting the project, keeping us informed all the way. Our kitchen looks great and we couldn’t be more pleased with it. The tradesmen, Brian, AJ, and Mike were excellent and treated our home with respect. They cleaned up each day at the end and answered all of our questions when asked. The project took a little longer than expected by a week or so. There were days when the tradesmen didn’t show and there was no communication that they were not coming. They use an application to show where you are in the projects, the financials, and where you can ask further questions called CoConstruct Dropping a note to say the tradesmen aren’t coming in there would suffice. Hence the reason for 4 stars and not five, but having said that when we need to remodel our master bathroom we will use them again. Also Lisa was great to work with when designing the kitchen and making selections. They quoted a price and only changes made was when we made a few upgrades.

Can we give them six stars? Can we - Im being told we cannot. So five stars it is! The entire team at Acclaim did an amazing job over the eight/nine months of our addition project. Id like to single out Chris in particular who managed the project from start to finish. He was always accessible (except on weekends, and frankly I wouldnt want to bother him on weekends anyway - the guy works hard), patient with all of our questions, and helped us make decisions that resulted in a beautiful addition on our house while nearly keeping us on budget.I would like to also call out Lisa, Acclaims designer, whose keen eye and attention to detail guided us well as we made decisions about finishes and fixtures that really made the addition pop.We completely renovated our kitchen, added a mudroom, and expanded a first-floor bedroom (and added a half bath), so the project was fairly substantial. The entire team was professional throughout, always communicative, and friendly. The teams who came to work on the addition, from the Amish framers to the HVAC, plumbing and electricians were terrific to work with. They showed up when they said they would and completed their jobs cheerfully and thoroughly.If we should ever have another opportunity to expand our 1927-built home or undergo any other home renovation, we would run - not walk - to hire Acclaim again. They were outstanding. Six stars......er, five stars!

My wife and I have lived in our home for 18 years. For 17 years we’ve recognized the need to renovate our master bathroom.The tone of the discussion evolved over the years:From… “We need to renovate this bathroom” (2006-2010)To… “When are we going to renovate this bathroom?” (2011-2015)To… “Are we ever going to renovate this bathroom?” (2015-2018)And finally, to… “We’re never going to renovate this bathroom, are we?” (2018-2022)It became a running joke. It was like the counterpoint to that old saw about how they can put a man on the moon … but we can’t renovate a bathroom. On the other hand, I suppose living for so long with an outdated master bath is a story of first-world resilience we’ll share with our future grandchildren someday.Of course, a bathroom renovation is a major project. You’ll need a pretty hefty budget unless you have a particular skill set, a lot of spare time, and an extremely understanding spouse or family. And let’s face it, if you’re reading reviews after Googling “bathroom remodelers near 44060 that’s probably not you. It’s not me (you had me at “skill set”).So when the 1990s finally called and threatened bodily harm if we didn’t return its outdated bathroom, we firmed up our resolve, reviewed multiple service providers, and chose Acclaim.I’d like to say we did a full analysis of home remodelers in the area and gathered quotes to determine which is best. Truth is we talked to a couple and just had a really good feeling with Acclaim.Once we signed the contract, there was a flurry of initial activity. Particularly helpful was the design consultation. I’m about as articulate as Frankenstein’s monster when it comes to describing my perfect bathroom (“Linoleum, BAD!”); my wife readily admits it’s not her forte either. But the designers helped us through our options without overwhelming us, and sketched out a solution we were really excited about.Then we waited … for several months. But, I think that’s sort of the going rate now with this kind of work.One nice thing: although we made material selections early in the process, Acclaim stored those materials until the day they were needed at the jobsite. So we didn’t turn our garage into a warehouse.Once the work got underway, things went smoothly. I work from home and was present most of the time the bathroom work was being done. So I got to know the tradesmen, including Craig (who ran the show and did the bulk of the work), AJ, Jesse, and Sam (aka “The Kid”). They started work at roughly the same time every day, worked through the week, and made steady progress. They used half of our garage as a workshop/staging area, but cleaned up after themselves and otherwise respected our space.They worked hard and paid attention to detail. I watched Craig sweat over the angle cuts of the crown moldings to make sure everything lined up perfectly. His tilework in the shower is beautiful (see photos). He touched up paint in corners to make sure the edges were sharp. He also explained why you shouldn’t apply silicone around the back of a toilet base.They also accommodated *small* changes. Example: I decided I wanted banks of four outlets, rather than the standard two, on either side of the vanity. And I wanted a light over the toilet for reading (because, let’s be honest…). Those sorts of things were not a problem.The project lasted five weeks. It’s a long time to have part of your home turned into a construction zone, but I didn’t mind as I saw progress happening every day. There was no start, stop. They were here Monday through Friday until the work was done. I’m grateful for their work ethic. If I need work done in the future, and one of those guys were to show up on my doorstep, I’d welcome them back.We’re delighted. Why did we wait so long?You may want to do more due diligence than we did when selecting a remodeling contractor. But if you go with Acclaim, I think you’ll be delighted too.

Acclaim remodeled our family room and living room. We replaced a 1990s fireplace with a new gas fireplace, added bookcases and windows. In addition crown moldings and new baseboards were installed. In the living room we also added a new window.Acclaims work was impeccable with the crew being detail-oriented. We will use Acclaim on future projects.

Acclaim renovated my daughters’ bathroom. Frank (main tradesman) showed up on time every day and was friendly and easy to talk to. Frank, Ryan, AJ, and Mike all did fantastic work and endured my children screaming and fighting the 2 weeks they were here. LOL. My 4 year old would ask me every morning if Mr. Frank was coming that day. We had a great experience and they will be renovating our basement bathroom next.

The tradesmen were knowledgeable, timely and easy to work with. They explained the process in detail. We had a load bearing wall removed, all new flooring, baseboards and trim installed, new interior doors and all rooms painted. The finished product is stunning!

Our overall experience with Acclaim Renovations was largely positive. We have one final punchlist visit that I’m expecting to be completed satisfactorily . Mike Pirc did a great job overseeing the project, especially considering that it was a long distance project, and Jake is wise beyond his years with regards to his trade. He offered suggestions and solutions that were helpful. Lisa in their design department helped me to think out of the box. I am grateful for the work they did for us and would use them again if need be.

Acclaim did a great job for us. We had multiple projects occurring simultaneously, including kitchen update, bathroom renovation, complete first floor flooring installation and shed and deck construction. The team had fabulous design recommendations and worked with us on design specs to stay in line with budget. Their end products were of superior craftsmanship. The entire team was respectful, clean, thorough, organized and professional. As projects moved along the team always made sure we were happy with the work. For instance, we ran into an unexpected issue with our deck construction and the team worked with us to design a beautiful solution. I greatly appreciated the communication portal. It worked masterfully in keeping the entire team informed, communication flowing and providing timely responses to questions. Having specs, including photos, on the site kept communication clear. Post project completion we had a very small issue and the team followed up promptly to ensure the issue was addressed. Thanks so much Acclaim. We are enjoying our new home!

This is my first experience with Acclaim. Prior to them I had the pleasure of working with Mike Pirc, current President of Acclaim. Mike has become a personal friend of mine. I had a complete renovation of my bathroom and spare bedroom. At first the bathroom tile work was not up to par. I was very upset and expressed my feelings to Mike Pirc. He jumped all over it. He brought in another team and they fixed the problem. I am very pleased with the work that was done. The bathroom tile is beautiful and the bedroom turned out exactly how I had wanted. I am very pleased with the work that was done.

My wife and I recently reviewed 4 different firms to do a total kitchen remodel. I can not tell you how happy we were that Acclaim Renovations and Design was selected. Our tired kitchen has now has a very model look with excellent workmanship. This team at Acclaim is outstanding from the owner, to the designers, and employees doing the work. When I say employees I mean employees. The workman work for the company and are on site every day keeping your project on schedule. There is no cutting corners with this firm. Most important is a software program called co-construct keeps you up to date on the project and costs. No surprises on cost overruns because the customer is involved in every step of the way. This is a very unique firm that deserves any remodel projects attention.

I hired this company to remodel my master bathroom. After seeing the results, I intend to have them remodel the main bathroom and half-bath next year.They were extremely helpful and professional. They spent a lot of time with me at the beginning helping me choosing color and styles, and answered my many questions thoroughly and in detail.Once the actual work began (which it did once all the necessary items and material were in hand) they came every day until it was completed.The work and, consequently, the result was exemplary.I am very pleased with how the master bath looks now and would recommend them very highly. They provide a multi-year warranty for all their work and provide excellent customer support.

Highly recommend Acclaim Renovations. Our basement remodel was a year ago and it looks as beautiful now as it did a year ago. The staff was very professional, paid attention to the details and fixed all minor requests on the final walk through. We loved the Co-construct app for communicating changes because it tracked everything and kept the project progressing in a timely manner.We also really like the app that allowed us to visualize the completed basement. We ended up making changes to our original design based on suggestions from Bob and we’re so glad that we did even though they added cost.

My husband and I are extremely pleased with Dennis! He arrived at exactly the time they said someone would be here. Dennis was fully advised of the plumbing job that needed to be done and all the little extras we asked them to do for us. Like saving parts from the old toilet as backup for our other 2 toilets in case we needed them down the road. Everything I mentioned, he would smile and say, Yes maam, they told me at the office and Ill pack it all up for you. He was courteous, neat, and thorough and we couldnt be happier with the results. Thank you!! Their new name is: Acclaim Renovations & Design We highly recommend this company and have also used them for painting the entire interior of our home, new beautiful porcelain tile throughout the foyer, laundry room, master bath, powder room, breakfast room, and kitchen, along with gorgeous quartz counter tops in our kitchen! We bought a fixer-upper several years ago, and after addressing safety (electric, HVAC) and structural (roof, windows, trees) issues, decided to tackle the bathrooms. Bob and the OMAH folks drew up solid renovation plans, helped me choose materials, and completed the projects in very good time, even when momentarily sidelined by the discovery of a couple of cracks in the plumbing (the source of the persistent nasty smell that made me cringe whenever a guest needed to use our bathroom). The guys were great to work with, I came home to a tidy, organized work area every day, and they worked and completed one before moving on to the other, so that we were never without the use of a bathroom. These bathrooms are small (approximately 25 and 35 square feet), but now each of them is fully functional, the spaces are organized so that they no longer feel cramped, and they are beautiful.
