    Space Coast Plumbing helped resolve my sewer blockage by discovering that AT&T had pierced my lateral sewer line when installing fiber optic cables in my neighborhood.     Jake from Space Coast Plumbing did an excellent job replacing my old AO Smith water heater. He installed a new Rheem unit, added all new copper fittings, including new expansion tank, plus it had a better warranty than my old unit & also more energy efficient too. Cleaned up & took my old unit all done very efficiently in less than 1 & 1/2 hours. Highly recommend them.👍👍

    This company was very professional from the time I called and spoke with Jake through the end of the service call. I needed to have a camera for the job and they have one and I was able to have a plumber come out the same day - I super happy about that! Jake (#2) was my technician and he was completely professional, explained everything he was doing and answered all my questions. Their business card went right into my house repair folder. I highly recommend them and will use them for any future potential plumbing needs.

He called to let me know he had finished with his previous customer early & could come to my house earlier. When he arrived he was very professional, courteous, and got right to work.     Jake came out the same day I called (it was a non-emergency) and replaced two water valves, one above the hot water heater and the main shutoff valve for the house. He called before he arrived and quickly/efficiently replaced both valves with high quality ball valves and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend Space Coast Plumbing! :)

    Jake from Space Coast Plumbing is incredibly efficient and professional. He was able to come quickly to troubleshoot and resolve a plumbing issue for me. I thought it was going to be something outrageously expensive, but thankfully it was not. He clearly walked me through what the issues were with my system and provided guidance as to how to resolve them in the future. He is extremely trustworthy.     My water heater broke and Space Coast Plumbing was able to come out at noon the following day to install a replacement. Two plumbers came out, and they were fast, professional, and very tidy. The job was finished ahead of time and cost slightly less than quoted.Additionally, Jake let me know that in my area, there was a rebate of $350 on a new gas water heater through our natural gas utility provider and gave me what I needed to apply to it. I had no idea idea this rebate was available and greatly appreciate them telling me about it.I will be recommending Space Coast Plumbing to anyone that asks. Thank you!

    We were so impressed with Jake (owner). They were prompt--came at the time they said they would--and easily diagnosed and fixed our problem of a clogged washing machine drain pipe. My husband discussed other work that we wanted to get done in the future, and Jake struck my husband as being knowledgeable as well as keeping up on the new technology, such as toilets and just *how* they can flush effectively when their water tank is smaller. My husband used to do all his home repairs so hes knowledgeable about plumbing, and was very happy with Jakes experience and capabilities. We will most definitely be calling him for future work, and highly recommend him.

The pricing was right on point for what I had expected to budget for the job... opposed to another local company that tried to charge 3X what I ended up paying with Space Coast Plumbing.     1/4/2019 Update:Some of the plastic shutoff valves started very slowly leaking. They promptly came to investigate and replaced them all with brass valves--for free! Excellent service! Thanks!Original review from 3 years ago:They re-piped the hot and cold water lines in our single story home built around 1992 (1 kitchen, 2 baths, and 3 outside hose connections), replaced 2 shower valves and water heater, and pulled the permit with City of Melbourne, FL.We were in a bit of a bind when we discovered our third, copper pipe slab leak just before Christmas. It was on the hot side after the water heater. We were lucky in that we could cut off the hot water heater supply line to minimize the leakage so we could shower and do dishes each night, which bought us the time needed to get estimates and schedule the job.We obtained 3 estimates. Space Coast Plumbing ended up being the middle in terms of cost. The estimate was thorough—the owner went up in the attic and looked everything over carefully before giving a price. He also stuck to the prices he told us when the job was done.They came when they said they would. They started one day during the week of Christmas, cutting out the drywall to prepare for the actual re-pipe. They came the following week to do the re-pipe. In all it took between 3 and 4 days, which was what they told us it would take, and this was pretty typical based on the estimates we got.They took reasonable steps to contain the mess that is inherent with this type of work, and cleaned up after themselves each day. They hauled away all debris.They coordinated things so my family was not left without running water overnight, and set things up so the city inspection could be done with minimal disruption to our daily life, which was also greatly appreciated.While the walls were opened up, we had them replace both shower valves. It was also time to retire the water heater, so we upgraded to a 50 gallon unit.They installed Uponor AquaPEX, which they were trained and certified to install, and had the proper (specialized) tools. They took rolls of this pipe into the attic so they could make long runs without any joints between the 2 ends of the house. Fewer joints = lower risk of something going wrong (and less pressure drop). They insulated the hot and cold lines in the attic. At this writing, there is a 25 year warranty (10 years damage warranty). Space Coast Plumbing also gives a 1 year warranty on their workmanship. Jake, the owner, said this was the same pipe he used to re-pipe his own house, and it’s what he recommends to his customers.Space Coast Plumbing saw that we had an older style of water pipe going to our refrigerator (that was prone to leaking) and replaced that as part of the job. In general, they seemed to try to use the best in terms of parts and materials. It really felt like they were doing the work as if it was their own home they were re-piping.Overall we found Space Coast Plumbing very responsive, flexible, and cooperative, which was greatly appreciated given our situation and the holiday timing.I should mention that the drywall repair folks were able to re-use much of the drywall Space Coast Plumbing cut out. In other words, when Space Coast Plumbing cut out the drywall, they intentionally did it in a way that made it quicker/easier to repair later. To be sure, the dry wall repair was not part of the Space Coast Plumbing re-pipe. We had to hire a separate company for that (which Space Coast Plumbing was very clear about up front). This is typical for this type of plumbing job. For reference, the drywall work (including re-painting) cost around $1000 (don’t forget this piece of the job if you have to re-pipe your home).This review was written around 2 weeks after they finished the re-pipe. Weve not seen any leaks, water pressure is good, and so far, everything seems pretty much back to normal. The 50 gallon water heater hasnt run out of hot water yet, which is a plus over that older, 40 gallon unit we used to have.

    Thank you for your great service. Had a leak over the weekend and I called Monday morning and got it taken care of within a few hours. Jake knew right where to cut and find the leaking pipe.     I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jacob and the excellent service he provided. We were having some water pressure issues at our second home in Melbourne Beach, so I called Space Coast and asked if they could come out. I had to return to work in North Carolina two days before he came, leaving my wife to take care of a few things at the house.Jacob was timely, coming exactly when he said he would. He analyzed the situation, diagnosed the problem, and had it resolved very quickly. While at the house, he fixed a leak, installed a new faucet and replaced some piping that had been installed incorrectly. Having to get my wife to handle issues that normally I would take care of is not my preference, but knowing there are trustworthy, responsible, and dependable people like Jacob really put my mind at ease.I would highly recommend him for any plumbing issues you might have and I would not hesitate to call him for anything else I need done. I will call him in the future to see if he has recommendations for other services as well.Though it was not my primary concern (because I wanted the issue resolved), the amount he charged was in my opinion too low. Having renovated two houses recently, I expected a much higher charge.In summary, if you have an issue, Space Coast needs to be your first call. You will thank me later, I assure you.

    This was the 3rd plumber I tried; the first 2 didn’t return my calls. Then we got mixed up on our appointment time so I had to reschedule. When Jake arrived he was very apologetic, wanted to make things right, expressed the desire for my business and satisfaction. In hindsight I’m pretty sure the mix up was my fault and I told him so, but he just wanted to be sure I was properly taken care of. He worked quickly and neatly, kept me informed along the way.     I had these guys come out to replace my water heater. They came out the same day, and told me how much it was going to be before coming over. He knocked it out pretty quick, and I was having a hot shower within calling 4 hours. 30 minutes of calling around, 1 hour response time, and another 1.5 hours to install and pay. He told me how to get the rebate since it was gas. I would definitely use them again.

Arrived right on time, diagnosed a problem with the water heater (as expected), and didnt give me the Well have to come back later treatment. Left immediately to go grab a new unit and installed it cleanly with no waiting, no fuss. The time from arrival to job finish was under 2 hours. Everything looks good and works well.
