Bobby B. & Jerry W. did an attic stairs installation for us today, and they were awesome! It was a bit of special job because out joists run in the opposite direction than normal, which required some extra construction and made it a more difficult job. But they were fantastic -- it only took one day instead of the two days they thought it might. And Jerry even discovered a short in an electrical box that he had to move out of the way, and fixed that for us as well! I highly recommend these guys!

Mr. Handyman came to my rescue. My washer went out in the middle of a full washer cycle. I ran to Lowes to purchase a new washer machine and called Mr. Handyman. They had a technician that happen to be in the store and he was able to pick up the washer machine and deliver it to my home. He was able to remove all of the water out of my washer machine with out making a mess. He laid protection down through out the area he was working. He removed the dead washer machine and installed my new washer and hauled away the dead washer. They are great and I will definitely be using the again.

It all started when we learned that we had bees living in our basement wall. Because they are pollinators, you cant kill them so I needed a bee expert to extract the 40,000 bees (not a typo!) from my basement. There were no clues that we were harboring enough bees to produce 30 lbs of honey a year, or enough bees to field a terrifying bee army to attack our adversaries.Enter Mr. Handyman. The owner, Jo, and Chris came out and we fell in love with them. Super solid people. They gave a quote and I think the job was way bigger than they thought. Twice I offered to pay more and they refused (since the job is behind a wall and pulling down the wall unleashes and a apocalyptic swarm of bees, its hard to quote these kind of things). We did give a good tip as Chris got stung a few times.While they were here, they also fixed a caulking issue in our bathroom and did an excellent job.They clearly like people and love their job. And they do excellent work. You cant even see where they pulled down the drywall to extract the 40,000 bees (still not a typo).Jo is a former Navy aircraft maintenance officer who started the Mr. Handyman business when she retired. Her employees are actual employees (and not 1099 contractors) which is a lot more expensive for her because she pays benefits - but I like that she takes care of her team.Im so excited to have a new go-to handyman service that can do electrical, plumbing, drywall, construction, and bee extraction.

They identified and understood the problem, the quality in which they fixed it with professionalism was drastic than the cheaper alternative. When you need legitimate work these the guys to call.

He suggested different options for the work that needed to be done. Bobby started the work and was very professional, great attention to detail and was an expert craftsman. Work was completed on time and exceeded my expectations. Will be using Mr Handyman in the future.Aaron was on time. He went over all requested work and gave me a fair estimate. His workmanship was amazing and he went above and beyond to complete the work. Will use Mr Handyman again.

Brandon, our technician (almost unfair to call him that, hes more of an artist) did an amazing job. He installed a chandelier in our two story foyer/stairwell. He need to run electricity to where I wanted it mounted. This was a challenging feat then it is a curved stairwell and it required him to balance on a ladder that rest on awkward stair treads. He got the electricity run with a three way switch and it looks fixture looks amazing in the space.Brandon also swapped out some old incandescent light fixtures with LED ones. It was amazing how fast and efficient he was. 1/2 hour/45 minutes two lights replaced. :-)Then we asked him to to install new recess lighting with dimmer in our lower level family room. He ran a new line connecting each of the 4 lights. The real issue came when he went to connect the new lights to the switch/electrical source. Turns out an old fixture was wired wonky and he had to figure out what the problem was because it should of worked. He stuck with it until he figured it out, 8:30pm. In the past weve had other trades people do work on our house and if they ran into issues, at 4:00 pm they would throw up there hands and walk out with a, see you tomorrow. Not Brandon.We will be calling on Brandon/Mr Handyman to do more work as we work through our To Do List.Mr. Handyman you are lucky to have Brandon work for you.

We were almost ready to give up and pay thousands for a new patio sliding door. All the online videos made it seem so easy to lift the door out of the track and replace the rollers. But our 45-year-old monster didn’t work that way! As a last gasp I did an online search and found Mr. Handyman. Literally an hour later Bob was at our door! He knew exactly how to work with our door, had it out of its track, and had the old roller out. He was proficient, competent, and successful. I will not hesitate to call next time we have a household repair to make.

He also checked the others and pointed out potential issues with them, so I had him perform the repair on those as well. He was friendly, respectful, and he went beyond the scope of work. I had a small but unusual project; I wanted the interior mechanisms and contents of two kitchen cabinets swapped. I needed to reverse locations between my kitchen trash cabinet and another cabinet to make it much easier for multiple people to work in the kitchen at the same time. As the cabinet openings were the same size, the project was simple in concept. Bobby B. maneuvered around a plumbing challenge to get everything in place. He worked around close tolerances, to make sure that nearby cabinet doors did not hit and ensured both relocated cabinet doors opened and closed smoothly. His good work was very much appreciated; my New Years Resolution project is complete!

13 year-old home, caulking was coming apart all over the house (bathrooms, both stairwells, kitchen). Tub and shower needed regrouting in spots. Doorbell was beyond the simple fix of a switch swap. Two drain stoppers had worn out, one was stuck shut. Exhaust fan in bathroom was not functioning. Carlos arrived promptly at 8:30am, listened to our list, which grew each time we visited a new room, and provided a reasonable estimate (frankly, around $500 less than I expected). He was finished by 4:30pm. He was knowledgeable, hard-working, gave advice, and was an all-around nice guy.

Since the pricing was based on a minimum of 2 hours service, Kevin also fixed my shower doors and helped me work out a solution for another issue. In addition, my experience with the schedulers has been very positive. I will be definitely be using this company again soon.

We needed a light shaft to connect a newly installed skylight to the kitchen. Daniel Bennett came to survey the job. He was friendly, and courteous. He wore a face mask and put on disposable booties to enter the house to see where the shaft would end. I installed a skylight 20 years ago in an identical house belonging to my in-laws, and swore never again! So when we looked in the attic and he explained what needed to be done and what the issues were, We were sure we had found the right guy, and we had. His workmanship was meticulous, and there was minimal cleanup. The company was in contact with us throughout the project, and although their quote was not the cheapest one we got, they were the right company for us.

Mr Handyman has done big and small projects for me. The handymen are creative- one put up a Purrfect Fence freestanding cat enclosure on a place Im renting. I told him I didnt want to drill into the stone walkways or make too many holes in the house (because it isnt my property) and this guy came up with a workaround in no time and 3 years later, its still standing with minimal invasive work on the house. I recently had Brandon from Mr H come fix a big door. He idd the hinge, went to Home Depot and came back with hinges- he changed them all out so theyd match. Nice. The company sent me a pic of him so I could ID him when he arrived, too. (Nice new touch). I have a $25 off coupon for two-hour or less jobs, and every quarter, they send out $100 coupons for big jobs of eight hours. No probs with these guys. They even referred me to their organization in the city Im moving to, and I already got a call. Smooth. I recommend calling on a weekday- the weekend staff doesnt seem on top of it, but the weekday staff rocks.
