I cant say enough good things about my experience with this company, from Scott answering my call to Bruce, the electrician sent to repair my wiring issue. Work performed was done in a timely manner and at a very fare price. Scott was very understanding to my situation and let me say it was a pleasure having Bruce in my home. If you need electrical work, call Starr Electric.

2nd update: they finally came out and those guys communicated well. They seemed to do a good job and were friendly and personable. I’ll say this, communication isn’t great which shows a lack of customer service skills within the company. I shouldn’t have to keep emailing to get details. After the initial person came out and gave a quote (by email a couple of days after, he (Troy)went on vacation. Then I had to wait a week to get scheduled, then even longer because they had to get me on the schedule but I had to email to find out when that would be, then I had to email for a time, then I had to email to find out how to pay. It would just be nice if one email was sent with the scheduled date, time and how payment should be made upon completion. These details should be given up front. The customer shouldn’t have to keep emailing to get details. It made me feel like they didn’t want the business but I really needed this done. I also have a business and customer service is so important to me. I notice a lack of it in Macon overall. It’s really underwhelming.So overall, good service when the electricians actually come out but before then it’s severely lacking in customer service and professionalism. Would I recommend? Price wise, it’s reasonable. They wouldn’t be my first recommendation but again not because of the ppl that actually came out to do the work.Update: I was emailed the estimate at 9:15am. Better than the last company so I’ll update my stars but still stand by…it should be done at the time they show up.I’m still waiting for an estimate. I don’t know what the point of coming out to do an estimate is if you take a couple of pictures then leave. I’m accustomed to ppl coming out and being ready to actually give an estimate while on site. Anyway was told either yesterday evening or this morning. I’ll update review when I hear from anyone. He came out at yesterday afternoon so it really shouldn’t take this long. Already on the wrong track. 🤦🏽‍♀️

My outside light switch went out and my outside flood lights were on and I couldnt cut them off with the switch. I called and spoke to Troy at 12:15 pm. and by 3:30pm Mike was at my home to replace the light switch. Mike was awesome! He was very professional, courteous, and kind all at the same time. They dont even make light switches like I had anymore. He put a new switch in. It looks great and works great. If you need an electrician for anything just give them a call. They really care about their customers and that means a lot. I will be doing more business with them in the future.Thanks again Mike for working me in today and for a job well done.

Jeremy with Starr Electric has been absolutely amazing. I recently had a few tenants leave from a rental and I was needing help with repairing a few things around our house, such as a garbage disposal, a ceiling fan with wireless remote, and a few 3 way switches. Jermey went above and beyond in his help to look in our attic and noticed that we had a few wires loose in one of the receptacles and he tightened them to make sure that were safe! I went with Starr Electric because my son referred them to me, and I do believe this was an excellent recommendation. Jeremy was extremely professional and was nothing but courteous. He made a few excellent recommendations, and I genuinely felt I was in excellent hands being taken care of. In the process of repairing the house after the rental, I needed some information to order a part for an appliance, and I needed some information off of it. Jeremy was happy to help here as well since I wasn’t at the house when I needed it; however, he was!Jeremy is an absolute gem of an employee for Starr Electrical, and I’d recommend this company to anyone!10/10

The owner, Bob is an honest man, who runs an outstanding business which offers excellent service. He and all his workers are right on the job and will not stop until it is a job well done. I highly reccomend them to anyone, who is in need of an electrician.
