While trying to change out a 2 story outdoor flood light with one of those extendable bulb changers, the whole fixture fell apart. It was original to the house, so while surprising, not totally unexpected. It’s the week of Thanksgiving, family that likes to be “useful”is coming into town, and I got broken light fixtures dangling from my house. I like to use local family owned businesses, but I figured I would have to wait until after the holidays, which meant I would be fighting to keep my father and uncles from trying to fix it for me. The last thing I want is someone falling off a ladder and breaking a hip…..Called Macon Connections on Monday late afternoon, and they came out at 9am the next morning. Not only did they replace the broken light fixture, but they took the time to replace all of my outdoor light fixture, all before the hoard that is my family descended! There is a ton of other things that need to be done in my house, but football on every channel, strategically placed bar carts and snacks helped stop them from looking for projects.Totally calling these guys after Christmas to replace the fluorescent light fixtures the previous owners loved.

I had Macon Connections come out and add 2 receptacles in my garage and one receptacle outside, as well as provisions for a mini split heat pump that would be installed at a later date. I gave them a call, Kevin was very responsive and came out to give me an estimate on the project and a few days later he sent a crew out to do the work. They made recommendations on the receptacle locations based off of what I was going to be needing them for and made sure I was happy with all the work performed. I was very impressed with the quality of work and the attention to customer service. I would definitely recommend them for all electrical needs and will be using them in any future electrical installations or issues I may have.

They also found sparking in our breaker panel and resolved that issue. We will need another bigger panel and as well as have breakers replaced. Pre Pandemic our remodel was going great. Post Pandemic was horrific. We lost our Electrician (not to Covid but to other business) and we couldn’t find anyone who wanted to come to the country and work on our little shack. I finally searched Marketplace and Macon Connections ad said …”no job to big or small, we do it all…”. so I messaged him. He quoted us, put us on the calendar, Trapper and Manny showed up on time, and it brought me to tears when I told Trapper that we weren’t electricians, but we told Kevin it was probably a day and 1/2 worth of work left and Trapper said it didn’t matter how long it took, he was here to make sure it got done and I was happy. I honestly could NOT be happier. Trapper and Manny were very professional, and made sure everything was done and working before they left. they even made suggestions which helped out. They worked with GA Power and electrical inspectors to install new 200 amp service to an external workshop and completely wired the shop area.3. They also ran power to our boathouse, and installed outlets and lighting in the boathouse.Throughout the process, Kevin met with us in the morning to discuss what would be accomplished that day, and again in the evening to go over accomplishments. Kevin and his staff made several recommendations on lighting options, outlet placement, and circuit layout that optimized our installations. The work was completed on time and as promised. Kevin followed up after the work completed and assisted when torrential rains caused some erosion in the trenched areas. We would definitely use Macon Connections again.

I know a lot of reviews online are posted by companies from their own internal people. But I got to tell you I called this company a week ago and my back was against the wall because we had a huge big certification coming through and we had to get new lights for the entire Warehouse, not only did the guys come out the same day I called him but they told me they could start that day and they finished almost 50% of the job that day. Theyve since been back the next day and then I caught talk to me yesterday they came back again today for me. Not only are all my light fixtures and everything absolutely stunning and perfect to be honest with you my warehouse is very old and had a bunch of wiring issues these guys were honest, fair, nice to be around, there shouldnt even be another Electrical Company in this state because I dealt a lot of contractors a lot of companies and not a single one has prepared to the professionalism work ethic and just all-around great experience with these guys. And that doesnt just go for the lecture electrical side effects Ive dealt with doors contractors I dealt with security system contractors every contract Ive come across in the last several weeks not a single one of them or hell combine all them together and they do not equal with these guys are brought to the table do not hesitate to call these guys for any of your electrical needs theyll be there there bear there do damn good work and these are now my electrical guys for life!
