Jim and his entire crew have all been phenomenal. We did a large, roof off renovation that required us to move out for 7 months. Jim timed everything perfectly and we were back in before the holidays. The sub contractors have been amazing and so accommodating of some on the spot change of plans. We were terrified of such a large project and it definitely had a hiccup or two on our 100 year old house but Jim made this entire project as painless as possible and we would recommend Jay Bilt time and time again.

Jay-Bilt just finished working on a complete renovation of our primary bathroom. We had a really big space to work with that was just not well utilized. Jim and his crew did a complete tear down to the studs and rebuilt our bathroom with a much more efficient and beautiful design with updated touches that have really turned that space into a very luxurious spa-like feel. We were able to add a sauna into the extra space and while installing that was very new to us, Jim found a way to build it in that blended so beautifully with the bathroom that it looks like it was always there. Jim and Jay-Bilt were really a pleasure to work with. Any problems that arose, they handled quickly and professionally. We appreciated that unlike many contractors, they did not try to nickle and dime us and stuck pretty tightly to the original quote that they provided which was fair and complete. All of the sub contractors Jim brought in were good and the work that was done has far exceeded our expectations. We hope to work with Jay Bilt again in the near future!

I am extremely happy with my new detached garage, I had to have the old one removed including the foundation so this is all new from the ground up. Jim is great to work with. He listened to my requests and made suggestions that made the job that much easier. I now have a full loft for storage and a jackshaft side mount garage door opener which gives me full access to the loft. I had several crews come out, demolition, concrete, framers, electricians, roofers, siding, and the garage door installers. All his crews were awesome and many have worked with Jim for many years. I would highly recommend Jay-Bilt construction to anyone considering a new or remodel construction. I now have my dream work shop:)

He made smart suggestions during the build and gladly accommodated a few last minute changes we made along the way. Felt all his subcontractors did great work and were very friendly. After hearing positive reviews about Jay Bilt, I called them to come out and quote a kitchen remodel. From the first meeting to the end of a substantial project, Jim was straightforward about the process and was directly involved by being on site or in contact with me everyday that work was going on. From the demo crew to all the different skilled trades, every person was very professional, on time, and cleaned up daily. Not having a kitchen for several weeks can get stressful, but Jim and his crew made the process as painless as possible. We added some items and made some changes to the original plan with no inconvenience or time lost. The end result was well worth it, they did a tremendous job! My wife and I would absolutely use this company again, and would certainly recommend them to others as well.

Construction went well and the only hiccups we really had were weather and inspection. The response from inspection was quickly cleared up and everything continued. Now I have a beautiful garage that matches my home, and my family and I couldnt be happier. If youve got a big job like this, go with JayBilt.

Excellent people with excellent craftsmen. We are thrilled with our home renovation and expansion. One of the city inspectors said that he wished he could bring people to my job site to show them how a job should be done. I cant say enough nice things about these folks.

Jay Bilt added a dormer that both increased square footage and ceiling height in our living room. At the beginning there was lots of back and forth with the architect to get things right. But this was worth the planning. Once the framers got the green light, they completed demo and rough framing in 5 days!! Part of the renovation was being used during construction and they keep everything sealed up and protected from rain. The rest of the trades did a great job too (electrical, plumbing, drywall & siding crews). Lots of signoffs but everything was kept up at a good cadence. We are happy with how our project turned out recommend you consider Jay Bilt for your project as well.

We worked with jim and his team on extending a portion of our house to add a bathroom and closet. Everything turned out amazing and the tile guy and finishing carpenter were my favorites to work with. Construction is always a long process and there are bumps along the way. Being patient and understanding and communication are all keys to making your space what you want it to be. We are so happy we did our space.

We recently used Jay-Bilt construction to do a master bedroom addition on to the back of our home along with some remodeling inside. We are a younger couple and had a handful of other companies quote the job along with Jay-Bilt. Most of the other companies acted as if we were dreaming, or we weren’t able to do a job of this large scale (one individual didn’t even walk in the house to look around). We had Jim out and he was great. He treated us very professionally and made us feel comfortable.This was our first time taking on a job like this and we didn’t know what to expect. Jim was very upfront with costs and things that needed to be done in addition to the regular construction. We made a handful of changed on the fly to which Jim was very receptive and worked with us every time. There were a few glitches along the way, which is inevitable with a project of this magnitude, but Jim worked with us and did everything in his power to correct the situation.The crews that Jay-Bilt used were always polite, clean, and punctual. If they said they were going to start at 8:30 you could bet that they will be knocking at 8:30 on the dot. This made it convenient for us as we had just had a newborn baby. To which Jim also went out of his way to make sure areas were extra clean and contained when the “dirty” work was being done.All said and done we are EXTREMELY happy with how the job turned out. It was kept on schedule for the most part the entire time even with the inclement weather. We would highly recommend Jay-Bilt and Jim for any sort of interior or exterior improvements. He will not steer you wrong!
