Brian was able to make himself available earlier than expected and called to verify that I would also be available at the earlier time. He arrived when he stated and was very professional and personable. I explained the wiring issue I was having and he was able to identify the root cause and walk me through the resolution in a timely manner in a method that was easy for me to understand. He was absolutely amazing throughout the repair and I was very happy with the work that he did.

After unresponsive electricians caused a week delay in our project, I reached out to Tann on a recommendation. I was immediately scheduled for a visit. Jon arrived when scheduled and took his time to carefully review our project. He met with my remodeler and problem solved. While others might find the pricing high, in my experience the price was in-line with previous work that did not provide promised service. After months of struggling to get our project done mostly due to the electrical, paying a bid toward the upper end and having service the next day is worth it.

First I accommodated and informed by the front office that my technician, Brad, that my service on my microwave installation would be completed before a very important meeting that I had. A picture of Brad was sent to my cell so I knew exactly who to look for. In this day and age that is a very comforting thing that this company provides. Brad was right on time, friendly, professional and completed his task in a timely manner. The installation was perfect and my family and I are completely satisfied. Tann Electric left a sticker on my breaker box on a previous call, and I called them first when three outlets stopped working in my bedroom-turned-home-office. Tann was here later the same day, the old GFI outlet in the bathroom on the other side of the wall was replaced, and Ehi, our technician, had answered some questions about a separate issue. I will definitely call Tann on the follow-up project too, because while they’re not cheap they’re responsive and know their business.

I had an electrical problem the day before the 4th of July that knocked out power to my whole house and between the weather and the upcoming holiday I was eager to get it fixed. The staff at Tann were fantastic-they called me back when they said they would, were upfront about the estimated cost, and gave me an accurate estimation of when the tech could be at my house, which was essentially just drive time. Aaron arrived promptly and was friendly and efficient and wasnt bothered that I asked a million questions. Overall I was extremely pleased with the level of service I received and Ill definitely be calling Tann Electric in the future if I need them.

Juan Acosta did our latest work on a 100-year old house. Tann Electric has done all of our electrical work for many years and have always been very professional with quality workmanship. Juan continued this tradition of quality work with his work on this house.He did multiple outlet replacements, upgraded to meet electrical code, ran new wire for new AC, installed GFIs where needed, repaired a wall lamp installation and installed two new ceiling light fixtures.Very professional, detail oriented and a good communicator. You wont go wrong with an electrician from Tann Electric (a locally owned company).

The technician came out a day earlier than expected. Our standby generator had quit working back in October, and tomorrow (02/02/22) we were expecting 6 to 14 inches of snow, plus ice, and we were afraid the electricity would go out. The technician fixed the generator quickly, and explained to my husband how to turn the generator on if it did not cycle properly. We were very pleased with the service, with the technician and with the nice woman who set the appointment.

I highly recommend Tann Electric. Our electrician Brad S. was phenomenal, courteous and knowledgeable. He was quick, on time and efficient. I love that we didn’t get “raked over the coals”. The final bill came in well below what we had expected. How often does one say that it was a pleasure doing business with a certain company? Well, it was a pleasure. Everyone I spoke with, two office personnel and Brad and Ehi, were a blessing. When you need an electrician, don’t go anywhere but TANN ELECTRIC. Tann Electric had me send them photos of my circuit breaker box so they could ensure they had the appropriate parts to fix my issue when they arrived at my home. They arrived within 2 or 3 hours of my call with the parts in hand and I now have a running furnace! YAY! We had an unusual power outage where half of our circuits were disabled. Tann Electric came out within an hour and Aaron explained the situation to us. He advised it was related to KCPL and they would be out to fix it but in the mean time he was able to switch some breakers so that our furnace would work (it was below freezing and getting colder). Sure enough when we called KCPL they advised they were aware of the problem and a crew came out later in the day to provide a temporary fix so we have full power.We really appreciate Tanns quick response and Aarons help getting our furnace operating.

We were having a problem with the main breaker. We called Tann Electric in the evening, after hours, and received a reply early the following morning. They had someone at our house by 11AM, and the problem was quickly diagnosed. It involved a new breaker, and coordinating with Evergy to have the power to the house turned off, and a permit and inspection. They arranged everything, but Evergy was unable to be there before the electrician needed to leave. The technician from Evergy arrived after 5PM, and I called the Tann office to see how they wanted to proceed. It was very warm and I wasnt looking forward to spending the night without air conditioning. They had the electrician come back to our house, and finish the repair so that Evergy could turn the power back on. Our electrician was consistently keeping us apprised as to what was going on and what needed to be done. The service was extremely considerate and professional. And coming back after hours was definitely above and beyond expectations.

We were very pleased with Tann Electric. They ran power to a pole for our swimming pool and we also had them add an outlet on the back of our house. They charged what they said they would, showed up when they said they would and provided great service. When we had questions on our permitting with the city they were quite helpful. Mr. Tann even called the city inspector and talked through the city requirement to make sure we met every requirement of the city. Their price is not the cheapest, but the quality you get with Tann is well worth it. We highly recommend Tann.

Everyone I spoke to at the office and John Tran and the electrician who did the work were all professional and helpful. The first electrician who installed the lights was wonderful . He showed me how to improve the lights I had. Juan Acosta came a few weeks later to tweak the light fixture. He too was so helpful and professional. I really appreciate all the fine service at Tran Electric.

This company is great. Aeron installed two kitchen fixtures for me yesterday. He did a great job. He went way above and beyond to help me get these and get them installed. There is a ceiling fan in between the two lights. Last night it wouldnt turn on. So I called the company this morning and Aeron came back out right away and took care of it for me. I would not hesitate to use this company again and I highly recommend that if you are in need of an electrical company that you call them.
