I needed some 2-prong outlets upgraded to 3-prong as well as a new lights installed in my stairwells. Ryan Electric sent Brandon and Bailey who reviewed all my electrical needs, made some suggestions, and offered several quotes. After consideration, I chose the items I felt were critical now and they got to work. After reviewing all the outlets in one of the rooms with a mix of 2-prong and 3-prong ones, they explained how the existing 3-prongs werent wired correctly. I love the new lights in the stairwells and the additional light switches they were able to add. I truly appreciated the way they explained things and the work they did was top notch! I highly recommend Ryan Electric and will call them again.

Technician, Brandon, was very professional. He kept me informed of their plan, and their progress. He answered all my questions. They installed the box and pole with extra support. Ryan Electric talks directly with Evergy to make arrangements to turn off the power, for the final hook up and the inspection. It is very easy working with Ryan Electric. It has been years since I last needed them to work at my house. Some of their staff has changed but the professionalism and quality of work remains.

We had Ryan Electric out on emergency short notice (same day) visit. They gave us a 4 hour window for a show up time but arrived quickly after the phone call. On a Friday no less, we were not looking forward to spending our weekend with an electrical issue. Thankfully it was taken care of quickly and at a reasonable rate. Thank you Steve (our technician) and Ryan Electric for your fast and courteous service. We will be needing electrical work done soon on upgrades to our home and we look forward to using Ryan Electric again.

I contacted Ryan Electric to check out a few things and determine what needs to be done. It surprised me that this part of the service was free regardless of whether I continued with the service or not. The technician/electrician, Brandon, was great. He seemed very capable and knowledgeable, and was able to tell me what my options were. He gave me a few choices with estimates right then and there and said he could stay and do it right then. I said ok! I was pleased with all aspects of the service, so based on that experience, I would definitely call Ryan Electric again.

Bailey and Brandon had a professional but relaxed manner and were a pleasure to work with. I have other electrical work to be done and, based on Bailey and Brandon’s performance, I’ll be calling Ryan Electric for that too.

Yet again had them out to trouble shoot a cooktop issue and to update / replace whole home surge protection unit on my panels. Electrician Spencer was great. What a breath of fresh air! No overselling, on time, respectful. I feel safer as they realized my 2 electric smoke alarms weren’t working! It was obvious to me once they pointed it out. One of my electric panel breakers wasn’t even UL listed?!?! Who installs that? Ryan replaced. All in all, a great experience! Prices reasonable. Try them.

I was extremely happy with my experience with Ryan Electric. A limb had come down on the utility line and my weather head was broken. Brandon came out to replace the weather head and set up a new reattachment point on the house. I also had a power surge installed on my box and several GFCIs installed on outlets. Brandon explained everything he was going to do and gave recommendations on his first visit. He is very articulate, knowledgeable, and professional. I really had a very good experience with the Brandon & Bailey team!!! I will ask for them again if I have future work.

Spencer was my technician. He called me when he got to my home as I was not there. We were very impressed by the service we received from Ryan Electric! We had a few non working outlets and flickering lights that needed help. After submitting a service request, I was contacted next day to schedule service and was provided an initial estimate and explanation of what to expect. Electrician Steve showed up as scheduled a couple days later to diagnose the issues and perform same-day repairs. He was so nice and did fast, quality work! I also appreciated that he reviewed the cost for repairs with me after diagnosing the issues but ahead of performing the actual repairs. The whole process was painless.

Spencer from Ryan Electric came over to help us with an outlet that wasn’t working. As a courtesy for a new customer they offered a free safety inspection. During the inspection Spencer diagnosed a potential safety issue with our wiring that went back to when our home was built. He took the time to explain the issue to us in a way that my not mechanically inclined mind understood. He presented us with options to address the problem without any of the high pressure sales tactics that some service providers stoop to. Spencer even gave us the option to have the issue repaired that day, it was 3:30 pm. I doubted that it could be done by the late evening, though Spenser assured me that the Ryan crew would be willing to work late if we wanted it done today, at no added charge and did they ever. Soon electricians were showing up to help Spencer out and these folks were the friendliest and most respectful bunch I have ever encountered. They knocked the work out in amazing time and left us feeling much safer in our house. I would highly recommend Ryan Electric for any potentially shocking issue that you might have. (I couldn’t resist the pun)

Our electrician, Brandon was right on time, came in and gave a quick estimate including some things that I really needed to know the cost of before deciding if we were going to do. It was amazing that they were able to do the work same day as I had painters that were going to do some work and it was helpful to have the electrical work done first. Another electrician, Ryan, joined him and together they got the job done by the early evening and everything looked great. Super happy with professionalism, quality, and outcome of work. Have used Ryan Electric for several years. Very disappointed in my last service. Called to have them install 2 outside lights. Was informed how much it would cost $637, I said that was a little steep for such an easy job. Was informed it was not as easy as I thought and the job would take min 2 hrs. Thought price was reasonable if it was that difficult, so asked them to proceed. After 60 mins tech was gone, apparently it took less than a hour. When I inquired about it was told the owner would call me. Never called, called again, told once again I would get a call. Over a month later, still never have received a call or a refund.__________________________________________________________Update 1/30 - Was contacted by Ryan Electric. They provided me a satisfactory and reasonable refund for the work done. I believe them that they tried contacting me, however I double checked and I hadnt received any messages, so will leave it up to a glitch with my phone. Turns out the estimate was too high according to them so nice they took ownership of it. Would recommend calling them as they resolve any issues and they do good work.

Had two 110v outlets installed as well as an infrared patio heater that required a 220V. Bradley and another gentleman from Ryan electric arrived, gave me a quote that was fair and then they started immediately. They detailed everything they were going to do. We had to wait on Evergy to install a new meter, but Pat in the office kept us up-to-date with what was going on on the back-end side of things and checked in frequently. On the day of the upgrade, Steve came with a crew of four others to ensure that the job was finished in one day. They finished earlier than we had expected and explained what they did thoroughly before leaving.We already have them scheduled to come back out and do one more wiring project for us. There is no one I’ve hired to do work at my house that I trust and enjoy more than Pat Ryan. I’ve owned and lived in 3 different houses over the past 5 years in the Kansas City area. Pat Ryan and Ryan Electric have helped with my renovations at each house. The estimates I received from Pat were always very competitive. He shows up when he says he’s going to or gives plenty of warning if he’s running behind or ahead of schedule. He’s courteous and thoughtful. He even gave up a free Saturday to help me meet a deadline for a home project. Last winter when we lost power, I called Pat, and he talked me through how to hook up my generator to our generator power converter at our home, as I had never used it before. Turns out I needed to buy some cable and parts and make my own power cable. At 6:30 pm on a Saturday evening, Pat walked me through what I needed to do step by step and informed of all the precautions I needed to take. He even called later on to make sure everything worked out ok. He wouldn’t accept any compensation for any of the 30 minutes of consultation. I had an issue with losing power to what I initially thought was an outlet... no problem, Ill replace that myself... obviously that didnt work. It expanded to another part of my kitchen that included my refrigerator. Now I definately needed help. I called a couple of Electric Companies with good ratings online... they were booked for a couple of weeks. However one of them recommended Ryan Electric . I gave Ryan a call, and although they were also pretty much booked, they had someone out there that afternoon after hours. Within 30 minutes they had detected the issue and resolved the problem. They are now the only number I have on my phone for electric issues. Great service, great people!

Utility pole taken down by a vehicle. The incident disconnected the wiring that ran into my house. Utility company could restore the electric power but could not reconnect it to the house. It would require an electrician to reconnect to the house. Afternoon. multiple calls, Ryan Electric squeezed me in to send an electrician (Seth) to reconnect power to my house. Seth analyzed what needed to be replaced and how to improve the structure incase the incident happen again. Once Seth was done with his repairs, the utility company returned to connect to the house. Utility company was happy to get the project done the same day the incident happen. I was happy to have power to the house the same day. Thanks to Ryan Electric (Seth) and Evergy for their efforts.

Ryan did a major amount of work for us; our 1977 house hadnt had an electrical upgrade since it was built, and we needed so much done! They gave us a bid, met our needs, treated us so professionally, answered all of our questions, added to our original list without complaint, cleaned up every bit of their work, and we just couldnt be happier with their service. They added a new electrical box in the garage, and replaced the original electrical box in the basement. They added wiring and outlets everywhere from the patio to the porch to the laundry room, garage, attic, you name it. They are absolutely the best!
