Very quick to respond, even on a weekend. They were willing to come out on the same day but it wasn’t an emergency so we had them come the following day. He confirmed that day and let us know when he was on the way. Once he arrived and checked out the problem; he let us know what the next steps would be. It could be a simple fix, or more extensive (and more expensive). Thank goodness it was an easy fix. He fixed the issue in a timely manner ad made sure the area was clean. I highly recommend Excellent Plumbing and will call them if I have need in the future.

Gino is awesome and I would highly recommend him for any type of plumbing work. He knows what he is doing and has the best equipment to get the job done.I had a very intense and time consuming job where my main water valve (both of them actually) were not working and had to be replaced. The valves were also behind my water heater in a tiny small closet. Gino had coordinate with the city to shut off the water completely before he could remove the water heater and replace the valves. It took us 2 attempts to make it happen as the city couldn’t turn the water off. Gino was super flexible and came over on a very short notice. He finished the job in a record time and did an excellent, high quality work.Very responsive, honest and helpful. I am going to call him every time I have a plumbing problem. You cant beat Gino for quality work with no messing around! I had a main sewer backup that nobody else could fix. I have an overhead sewer line (not easy), which a couple professionals before wouldn’t even attempt, but Gino was confident he could do the job. He got here right on time and worked like a superhero to get it cleared 80ft down the main line and totally gave me my house back! I watched what he was doing, and I can tell you he earned every dollar that day. He did such good work I had him come back a couple days later to install a new water heater. He was totally honest, gave us the most quality product available for a good price and took pride in his work, making sure everything was done safely and correctly so it would last into the future. And to top it off hes just a nice human being too! Im a first-time homeowner and its not easy to find the right person to take care of your investment, but I now have Gino on speed dial for the next big job. Give him a call.

We had a small gas leak by our dryer that the prior owner of the house was nice enough to leave for us to deal with. Excellent Plumbing came out and addressed the problem quickly, professionally, and for an upfront price. They even took a look at and tested my my meter outside when I said I was smelling gas outside too (Nicor ended up coming out and replacing most of the equipment on the side of my home) for no extra. I will use Excellent again. They were friendly to deal with and seem fair.Edit: I hired Excellent Plumbing again to replace a kitchen faucet and replace a leaking toilet (and associated leaking angle valve). Both jobs were completed professionally and they tried to repair the toilet before settling on replacement. The bill was bigger this time but still seemed fair for being here several hours.

I initially called them for toilet replacement and then I asked them to come to fix a copper pipe that cracked in the winter due to ice. Both the times they did a fantastic job and also made sure that the area remained clean. Update for new work done 3/3/23--Called Gino because my Moms battery back up sump pump went out. The original installer that supplied and installed that pump wanted $2850 to repair it. Gino provided a whole new system for 25% less than that, plus that included replacing the standard electric sump pump as well (which the original contractor did not include).On top of that, Gino answered the phone himself when I called (tell me another plumber that does that!), gave me a price on the phone, then showed up and installed the unit within 3 hours of that original call. Seriously? That type of service pretty much does not exist today with most contractors.Anyhow, great job, neat work, great service, and a great guy on top of it. What more can you ask for? I highly recommend Gino for any of your plumbing needs. You cant go wrong!****************************************************Gino did this work at my mothers house. And while I marked it as a plumbing pipe repair Gino really didnt have to repair any pipes because he was able to solve the problem much more quickly and inexpensively.Half of the time when my mother flushed a certain toilet, there would be a loud rumbling sound in the walls and floor. Gino correctly diagnosed it as vibration in the copper water pipe that leads to the toilet. The water pipe would vibrate against a gas line pipe that ran alongside of the water pipe in the crawl space beneath that bathroom (apparently the water pipe had drooped a couple of inches over the years).Anyhow, Gino insulated the water pipe and the vibration noise stopped.Another plumber might have tried to sell us on new water pipes! He explained to me that since I have an old house (almost 100 years old) I have galvanized piping. Over time corrosion develops on the horizontal pipes and become clogged over time. Unfortunately this can occur if you keep turning off your water and turning it back on, or eventually will happen at some point in time. He explained that now homes are now made with PVC or copper pipes now to prevent this.I appreciated the explanation and most likely will have to call on them again to re-pipe my house. I used services of Excellent Plumbing several times. The work was always done by Konstantin and it always was an excellent quality. Konstantin installed new sump pump and new backup battery in my basement. Also, he replaced my old water heater with the new one. Besides those major projects Konstantin completed a few other jobs like replacing broken faucets, changing toilet flappers, etc.Everything was properly done and completed on time.After finding this company, I have no longer plumbing problems. Now I know whom to call in case anything plumbing related breaks in my house.
