I had them install a utility sink in the garage and had them add a spigot to the outside of the garage. They did great work, great clean up and accommodated my schedule. We had storm drains from gutters and downspouts that were clogged. Another company had failed to clear them. Frank and Luca came within 30 minutes of when I called them, found and cleared the blockage and made a repair to the drainage pipe. They were efficient, polite and cleaned up all the work sites. I have disabilities and needed a tall toilet. They listened to me and supplied a 19 inch toilet as requested, tested for water damage and once everything was cleared, installed the toilet. I plan to use them again to upgrade my second toilet and replace my hot water heater.

This guy is really special. He is an engineer so his equipment is top notch, in some cases one of a kind. He showed me on the camera exactly where the root problem was, and what needed to be done. Root problems return, so seeing it on camera and knowing exactly where it is, using his locator, will save me lots of time and money. All of this was part of his regular price. Well worth it!!

I’ve worked in construction most of my life and dealt with many plumbers over that time. Frank and his team were yet the best in terms of professionalism and expertise. They were on time, very knowledgeable and saved me a lot of time and money by explaining things as they went.Frank himself was very patient and helpful through the bumps we hit through the job. He hydrojetted our waste line which we believed to be clogged due to soft tissue. He took the time to thoroughly examine the 150ft of pipe until we found a root block found to be the culprit. Had just moved into a new apartment and on one of our first mornings there our cat had managed to get herself stuck behind the water heater. She was in a seemingly uncomfortable position and was completely unreachable without removing the whole water heater. To say the least I was incredibly worried.Searching for any solution I started calling plumbing services nearby. The first two I reached out two immediately sent me to a robocaller auto answer, so I hung up to find a real person.When I called Rootal-Pal I was immediately greated by a person. I explained the situation I was in and asked if they could get out quickly. They said they could schedule an appointment for right then.Frank and Luca arrived quickly and were very friendly. They showed concearn for my pet and helped work with me to figure out exactly how we could make sure she got out safely.They worked very hard and managed to get my cat out completely safely. (Too anyone worried she was fine, just a little shooken up. Frank and his team are SUPERB. I had received a very competitive quote from them in December, and initially thought I could repair our water heater myself, and so went along for a few weeks of tweaks and making it work in fits and starts by myself. When the water heater finally went out, it was two days before Christmas! I called, talked to Frank, who said they would be there the next day. Sure enough, they came on time, worked on it for a few hours till late at night in the cold with the garage door open, and replaced the old heater with the new one and made everything code-compliant too. There were no hidden charges, no gimmicks, no extras - everything done per quote in record time and very competently. I strongly recommend him and his team, they are honest, professional, and super capable, and performed an A+ rush job at a great price. Great company, great people.

I began my day recently by discovering soaking wet carpet in my closet. The hot water heater is directly behind the wall so I figured there was a problem there. My sister in law recommended Frank; he had done a couple of repairs for her and she had been very satisfied so I called him. He said he could be over to take a look in 20 minutes. When I asked how much to come out, he said, “Nothing!” How great is that?He confirmed the hot water heater was leaking and that it would need to be replaced. We discussed a little about water heaters and why they fail and how if the original installation had included a certain part, my closet wouldn’t be flooded...He said he could replace it in 4 hours ( same brand as I already had) and that he would do it in a way that would prevent future issues in the house if ever there were another leak! I needed a little time to work that out and he said it was no problem, I could call him when I was ready, which I did about an hour later.Frank responded quickly, said he would head out to get the parts and get my installation done that afternoon. And he did. Because of the timing on my end, he didn’t start until about 4pm and he finished at 8:00. He didn’t turn down the job due to the hour but instead worked out in our cold garage until the job was done. There was no surcharge for “after hours”; we paid him what he quoted. He even recommended a water restoration service he has worked with for 10 years in case we end up needing any work done.He was knowledgeable, efficient and polite. I couldn’t be happier with the service. I was lucky he had finished his earlier job and was available to help me. It’s far too cold out to be without hot water!I would recommend Frank at Rooter Pal without hesitation.

Our outdoor gutter drain was blocked, according to the people who replaced the raingutters. They suggested calling a rooter. We didnt even look at the place it was not draining, but called Frank, who was very responsive and scheduled a time quickly. Frank was very professional, responsive and friendly. He clearly explained everything he was doing and the price. There are no hidden charges and he even gave a small discount to my mom who felt the price was fair but stressed plumbers are expensive. It was an outdoor drain so there was a chance it wouldnt work and he let us know that before he started doing anything but the price was the se because you pay someone for their time- totally fair!. When the water went through but seemed a little blocked he dig around the outdoor piping a little and saw it was separated/bent and would need to be partially replaced He gave us a quote but also told us that the cost was high because his hourly rate and perhaps a handyman could do it cheaper. My mom asked the gardener to look at it, because it would involve removing a small tree, and the gardener fixed it quickly because it wasnt clogged just bent from a fence installation and didnt even have to remove the tree. In fact, if he had looked at it before it would have fixed the block and we wouldnt have needed to call and saved the $$ we spent trying to unclogged something that wasnt actually clogged. . But we assumed it was a bigger block like tree roots, and didnt check it out first. So Frank was great, and we will definitely use h in the future for other things, just wished we had tried fixing first ourselves, or had known to check out our own pipes first just by digging around a little.

As they say, you can get a better experience when there is a problem and it gets resolved rather than having no problems at all. Frank the owner came out and tried to clear our downspout drain. He could not clear the drain. And then he charged us the full visit fee, but included a small discount since he was not successful. Frank said there must a tee where his tools couldnt get into. After we thought about it, we felt we were overcharged for the unsuccessful attempt. So a I dug around the drain, found the tee and exposed it. We called Frank, explained the situation, he came back, and cleared the drain. He also tried to clear another exposed pipe and found it stops in a few feet underground, so we dont have to do anything with that. So, overall, were happy with the results. Thanks Frank.

They are incredible! I had a copper pipe pinhole leak damaging my walls, leaky shower drain, and leaky shower hot cold valve area. I scheduled service online after the remediation company opened up the walls for drying for 10 minutes later, a normally ridiculous request. In about 10 minutes, Frank called me to confirm and said he was on his way! I was afraid a lot of removal of floors and shower would have to happen. But, Frank cut through the wood from the bottom to make things accessible and fixed all three problems with minimal impact in only 2 hours from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Wow! Frank has saved the day and made us all much more relieved.

Sunday we knew our water heater was going bad. I called one plumber who responded quickly, but he was out of the area and wouldnt be back for a week. He recommended Frank. Monday morning I called and Frank answered the phone!! Gave me an idea of the cost, said they could be there in the afternoon. Later got a text and said someone could come at noon! Noah came, answered my questions, made some suggestions and the work was started and I had hot water by that night. Their price was competitive. I would use them again for any major project!

Frank repaired a leaking washing machine and main water disconnect valves. He did a quality job and explained us all further steps to take to mitigate the water damage. We had no water in the house because of the leak and Frank was able to come by in 2 hours after I called him 7am in the morning. I tried calling several other places but no one could do the repair on the same day even knowing that I have no water in the house. Frank on the other side was able to move things around on a very short notice and do all the repairs quickly so I had the water back by noon the same day.

If you could describe your ideal person for plumbing/heater etc. work, it would be something like this: Has way better prices, is local, takes great care, and doesnt cut corners (my replacement water heater was hundreds of dollars less than anywhere else, but he still includes solid brass fixtures). Oh--and has an engineering background! He has literally built some of his own heavy equipment! Frank is a treasure. Of course Ive already scheduled him for more work. I feel very fortunate he lives in the area.

We had a plumbing emergency with bad wastewater overflowing and flooding into the house. Bailing frantically, my wife and I didnt have have to shop for plumbers though I did call three before going with Rooter Pal. Frank answered the phone himself and even though his crews were out on other jobs as this was right in the middle of the huge rain/flood disaster, he offered to come right out and help. He was the only one out of the the three that offered me a price estimate over the phone, based on what we expected to be the problem. I wasnt in a position to shop around and appreciated his forthright approach.He went to work with his high power snake and cleared the line, warning me that it didn’t feel right when pushing through the clogged area.Having my hands full at the time, I decided not to have a camera run down to determine the cause of the obstruction, but soon changed my mind after realization as to the extent of the damages to our home and not wanting to repeat any of this!A few days later I had him back with his camera and unfortunately his suspicions were correct in that the pipe had partially collapsed and our worst fears were realized, sharing the video with me to illustrate the matter and tracking the line outside, he was able to quickly determine exactly where this had happened and give us a detailed explanation and estimate of costs for repair. We went with Rooter Pal for the work given that he already had diagnosed the problem and seemed to have a very solid understanding of his trade. Additionally, he was well versed in exactly which permits would be required for this project with the City and after our OK, proceeded to secure the necessary permits and bond and schedule the locate services required before any digging.He even went out of his way to come by and screw on an air tight cap over the open toilet pipe after the mitigation company had ripped out the floors and toilet leaving only a rag stuffed in there. He was concerned that it wouldnt be safe until the pipe had been properly repaired. After the permits were obtained and the ground painted up, he and his crew were prompt in getting the job done and having the city inspector out to approve the repairs as required. The work was done well and tidy! Frank is a very smart and hard working guy. He knows his craft, tools and materials very well! His men are hard working and quick and they go the extra mile to do good work and clean up. Frank came through for us when we needed help and he was the only plumber to actually give us a quote ahead of time when we were hard pressed for emergency help and vulnerable.. I later found out that if I had gone with some of the others I called, the same service would have cost more. Frank and Rooter Pal do do HIGH quality work and go the extra mile to help! (Note: I am not in the habit of writing online reviews and am making an exception for some really exceptional services provided) Thank you again Frank!
