Remodeling our primary bathroom was our first major house renovation. We were nervous about the process, and overwhelmed with so many options. The OJL team was amazing from beginning to end! Cassandra was super patient throughout the whole process, answering questions and problem-solving promptly. Carlos and Rickey (the installers) went above and beyond! Their attention to detail exceeded our expectations. They treated our bathroom like it was their own. Our primary bathroom is now the best-looking room in our house! I plan on recommending OJL to friends and family!

5 Stars!!From our first meeting with Cassandra and Joey, when we talked about what work we desired to have done and what we can afford to have done, OJL was outstanding!. They listened, provided insight, and helped us create a plan to make our home more functional and as close to what our dream plans were.Cassandra is one of a kind. She is a wonderful first impression of OJL and does more than just estimating your project - she literally holds the customer’s hand the whole journey. She was always available for every question or concern we had going through this process and would go out of her way to find answers when she didn’t know off the top of her head. She never once called us crazy when we made change after change to get our final project just right.The crew was fabulous. Jaimie and Ben were a delight to have around all summer. We grew to trust them and enjoyed having them work on our home. Each day (even the HOT ones) they showed up with a smile and worked as if they were working on their own homes. They made sure we were happy about every little detail. We think we met every member of the OJL crew by the end of our project and could tell you great things about each of them.Overall, we are thrilled with our final results. Our “killer” deck turned out better than expected, our kitchen is bright and beautiful, the bump out added more space than expected, our refinished hardwood floors are stunning, and the added sliders made a dark back door entrance feel bigger and better than we could imagine. The folks at Odd Job Larry have just completed a very large overhaul of our master bathroom and we can not be happier. We took out an unwanted angled wall and added depth to a walk-in shower, both bringing extra time and complexity to the project. Lighting was updated, a heated floor was installed and an old-fashioned spa tub was removed. Like every project of this scale, not everything went smoothly: our vanities and shower panels were damaged in shipping, causing delays of weeks. Our estimator and project contact, Jim, was with us every step of the way. Cecily, at Kitchen & Baths (OJLs sister company), helped us create a modern looking new bathroom, guiding us in the right direction in our choice of cabinets, fixtures and surfaces. I hear horror stories about other contractors (shout out to Karlsen Plumbing), but OJL crews and subcontractors show up when they say they will be there and keep you informed every step of the way. Odd Job Larry has been our go-to source for most of our recent home improvement projects. We will certainly work with them again.

We have used Odd Job Larry for multiple jobs including the installation of a cupola, building composite patio steps, and a pergola. Those projects turned out great!Our latest job was gutting an old basement bathroom and installing a new bath and walk in closet, of their design. We are thrilled with the results! Although they ran into many unexpected issues (1944 house) resulting in cost overruns, they handled everything professionally and we can count on them to do the job right.We have had Ben, Carlos, Ricky, Louie, Bert, Jim and just about every one of their employees to our house - and every single one of them are skilled, respectful, professional, prompt, and knowledgeable. Pam at the office is also great to work with and a super communicator! We love Odd Job Larry!

Recently we hired Odd Job Larry Inc to remodel our bathroom. We were looking for someone to install a shower in place of an old tub, as well as replace the old toilet, sink and flooring. The company kept us informed of any surprises they found during the demo and reported them to us in a timely manner. We were very impressed with the meticulous work completed by the team assigned to our project. Especially Carlos. He was very knowlegable and honest with us. It was appreciated that they kept the work area tidy and cleaned up at the end of each work day before leaving. We would definately recommend this company to anyone looking for a reasonable price on their home repairs or remodel. The bathroom turned out great!

They found another issue and corrected the problem. Odd Jobs called and told us the extra cost. Was highly satisfied and my wife is now happy to have her bathroom operable. They also hung a new ceiling light for us over our stairs. We love Odd Job Larry! My wife and I hired this company to replace the trim around our garage door, which was cracked and moldy, in spots, and to update our shower. Cassandra from OJL visited our home to determine the work needed, and answered our questions Alexa in the OJL office took our order and scheduled the work for us, and Bert and Morgan arrived promptly on the scheduled day and went above and beyond the repairs and installations requested. They thoroughly cleaned up their work area and showed us the completed jobs. Both Alexa and Cassandra followed up with us immediately to ensure the labor was done to our satisfaction. Ive really enjoyed working with Odd Job Larry over several home repair projects. When contracted to do siding work, they were extremely professional -- in our first project, they took the time necessary to document and fix every piece of deteriorating siding, and their photos helped me to convey their work to my insurance company. Their estimators were responsive to text messages, which is really convenient when trying to resolve home repair issues during the work day.Im writing this review because one of my tenants needed an emergency repair today -- I called Odd Job Larry at 9:28am, and the problem was resolved at 10:28am, when I received a text from an estimator giving me details about the fix and next steps. This couldve been a really stressful day, but this company was quick, resourceful, and responsive.On top of the good work theyve completed and the responsiveness of their employees, everyone Ive spoken to at Odd Job Larry has been really friendly and sincere. This seems like the type of company that charges reasonable prices because they are interested in repeat business, the old school mentality of treating customers with respect and concern, knowing that the business and customer can benefit mutually by working together.I appreciate the work theyve done, and Ill continue to work with them going forward because of the trust theyve earned.

This is the second time I have used Odd Job Larry. The first was to replace fence boards. I appreciated their work so much, that I had them install two sets of closet doors, both of which needed trimming. Ben was on time, very friendly and knowledgeable. He let me know what needed to be done and took care of it in a timely manner. Ben kept his work area clean and left nothing behind. He even recommended a paint for the doors, when he heard me mention that I have a young nephew who likes to write on everything! I will absolutely use this company again!

After a significant life event, I no longer had the time necessary to dedicate to completing the finishing touches on the whole-house renovation of my 106-year-old home that I had started almost ten years ago. This project was a challenging combination of old and new that incorporated reinstalling and painting original baseboards, 5-panel doors and casing, French doors, building custom mirrored bifold doors, and a complete facelift the the back-entry stairs.Cassandra was an absolute pleasure to work with during the estimating process and throughout the project. She took the time to sit with me, listen to my story, and embrace the passion that I have for the work which I previously completed, then helped me create a plan that would result in the classy, cozy, and peaceful vision I had for my home from the beginning.Jaime and every member of his team of carpenters were professional, respectful, and exhibited the craftsmanship I would expect when using ones own set of skills in anothers home. Each day, the work zone was compartmentalized, cleaned, and my home was returned to pristine condition. Had Odd Job Larry mount an Ikea sink & Cabinet in our half-bath. They mounted it properly through the tile on the wall and caulked everywhere that was needed. They hooked up all the plumbing and verified all the seals were tight and not leaking. Then they cleaned up all the materials and left it in pristine condition. Fantastic work!

Odd Job Larry was very responsive to my request of replacing a bathroom sink and vanity. Julie was always available to discuss details and progress of the quote, Pam was great to work with over the phone to get any payment and other questions handled, and Ben did a fantastic job on the install work. Ben ran into some minor issues during the job (not his fault, just how the house is), but let me know right away and gave me options for how I would like to proceed. He even offered to go above and beyond and put some touch up paint on afterwards. The whole thing looks absolutely beautiful, and all the old stuff was taken away and the area cleaned up. Overall I am very happy with the work that was done!

My kitchen/powder room remodel is finally completed and all I can say is WOW! Odd Job Larry did an excellent job and a big shout out to Jaime and Ricky. These two guys went above and beyond making sure I was happy with what they were doing. I worried about how my blind dog was going to react to having people in and out of the house and the noise. Every morning, he greeted whoever was working that day and everyone was so kind when he wandered into the work zone. They took extra measures to protect him which I really appreciated. I also cannot say enough good things about the sub-contractors - Ben and Ben Jr/plumbing, Tim and Joe/electrical. Such professionals. And finally, there is Carlos who took care of the punch list items. He did such a good job correcting each issue - couldn’t tell there was ever a problem. Thanks to Joey, Jim and Pam. Odd Job Larry replaced the tile floor in our shower and installed a frameless shower door. They were very professional and friendly. They covered all of our wood floors with tarps to keep things clean. The new caulk line on the outside of the shower looked so amazing that we are having them give us an estimate to replace all of the caulk in our 4 bathrooms. We would definitely recommend them!

Odd Job Larry did a partial remodel of our bathroom, installing new flooring, sink & vanity, wainscoting, and lighting, and new flush mechanism for the toilet. The ladies who I spoke with each time I called were always friendly and professional, and returned calls as needed. The estimator, Kenny, arrived on time, looked at what we wanted done, made some suggestions, and had a quote back to us in the time he said he would. Quote was fair, detailed, and reasonable. After giving us an initial start date for the job, they called and let us know they were able to come a few weeks earlier, which worked out great for us. When the job started, Ben arrived on time every day and went right to work. Ben was always careful with and around our things and made sure to clean up at the end of each day. He was very friendly and polite and always kept us informed of what he was doing, and when a problem or question came up he was very quick to ask how we wanted to proceed. Ben did terrific work and we are quite pleased with our new bathroom.

Our second floor bathroom vents were broken and birds were building nests in the ductings. I called Odd Job Larry and Pam was very helpful with setting up the schedule for repairs. Dan came by and surveyed the scope of the job and reassured me a proper repair would be done. The repair personnel arrived on the designated date and were very friendly. They cleared the ducts of the empty nests and debris and replaced the broken vent covers with cage barriers. They cleaned up the bird droppings on the sidings below the vents, too. Very nice guys. A week or so later, Pam called me up for a courtesy follow up on how the repair was holding up. No problems, whatsoever. All in all, I dealt with a very professional team, from start to finish. They were very pleasant to work with. Really, no effort on my part other than making that phone call.

Odd Job Larry, while not inexpensive, is masterful at home repairs. While it sounds like a one man operation, Odd Job Larry is a whole bevy of home repair specialists. With only a few exceptions, they are a full service company. The only exceptions Ive noticed is that they stop short of jobs that would require a licensed plumber or electrician.The real miracles are (1) they show up ON TIME and (2) they KEEP YOU INFORMED throughout the process!

It took us 2.5 years to have a contractor respond, give a quote to convert our 3 season porch to an office, and actually follow-up with a scope of work and detail of costs. Odd Job Larry was a breath of fresh air. Their business acumen and communication is stellar. Their work, rather craftsmanship, was high quality and the work area was always clean at days end. The timeline and costs were maintained and any nuances that surfaced were addressed immediately and collaboratively resolved. The number of neighbors who stopped by our house and commented throughout the process added to our overall satisfaction with the completed project - and resulted in 3 more neighbors happily (and finally) getting their own odd jobs completed! Ben and Lou, came to fix my bathtub from a leak inside the wall. They brought in a whole new tub in the surround and they did an amazing job and in a very timely manner,! They are very professional they did a great job my bathroom looks fantastic theyre coming back tomorrow to finish a few odds and ends. I was shocked that they even cleaned up after themselves. They always left the work space nice and clean before they went home for the night which is greatly appreciated because I have a disabled daughter. I will definitely refer others to them.
