    Always call Total Home Services first! We have had them come for a new furnace, condenser, tune-ups, plus repairs and installations of appliances. They are great every time. Personal staff, great work, good prices, honesty, and integrity. They really care about their customers, our comfort, and our satisfaction.We recently had them come to install an over the range microwave. The contractor who had installed one with our new kitchen, did not vent it correctly, and it burnt it out. Not only that, they wouldnā€™t answer our calls.We didnā€™t want to chance another issue with having them do it again so we called Roger Hughes, owner of Total home services to properly install a new one. He took the time to make sure it was vented correctly and worked properly.Great people, very competent, and they care. Call Total home services first!

    THS came out because my AC wasnā€™t working. I had thought maybe the compressor had gone out but the unit is only 6 yrs old. Come to find out, with all of the construction dust in my neighborhood the coils were just dirty. A quick clean and it works šŸ¤™. Great company!

    Had my furnace tuned up by Roger and he was great! Showed up well within my scheduled time frame, very personable, and was respectful of my property. I appreciate that he took the time to explain their total care packages without pressuring me to purchase one of them.I will continue to use Total Home Services while in my current home and have them follow if/when I move.

    What a great experience. Itā€™s not everyday that the entire world decides to fall apart around us and then as a cherry on the cake our 1 1/2 year old fridge just stoped working. After trying to work with the manufacturer and finding very little help, I was taken to our great friend Google, who guided me to Mountain West Appliance Repair where I was lucky to speak with an upbeat lady who did all she could to get me scheduled the soonest possible.So what I had waited for over a month with the manufacturer got fixed in less than a week by this great company. A great amount of thanks to Lee, heā€™s very professional, treated our home with respect and showed a great human side to him.Weā€™ll def. Be bringing them back when weā€™re ready to tackle our AC and Heater.Thank you again.

    Richard was very knowledgeable, but humble about it. He was respectful to my husband and I, and our home. He was really thorough with making sure my microwave was really fixed now. He was hands down 100% better than the last repairman that said he fixed my microwave, but didnt!I would recommend Richard to anyone who needed his repair service!

    Jason and Johnny did a wonderful job on putting in a new ac unit up on our roof and upgraded our furnace to make it easier for us to pull the filter out. It was already difficult to work with our furnace in a very tight spot, but they managed it well without any complaint. Also our thermostat was installed perfectly, everything is good and working well. Our ac feels amazing, so thank you to both of them for coming out and working all day to ensure our ac works.

    Roger and Jim were excellent! Super friendly! And they resolved my issue in one visit! Roger explained everything to us, which was awesome because weā€™re first time home owners. Also gave us tips and tricks on how to keep our systems running more efficiently. We really appreciated him answering all the questions and explaining his process thoroughly. I also love that theyā€™re a family owned business. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing HVAC work!

    While Steven and his partner Preston couldnt complete the service of installing our new dishwasher, it was due to electrical wiring issues, not anything else. I have been so pleased that they explained why and gave me a couple recommendations to reliable electrical companys and left a card for follow-up if the electrician didnt feel comfortable finishing that plug in for the dishwasher.

    Roger was very informative and helpful. He explained how our air conditioner was performing for its age. He gave information about possible replacements when the time for a new one comes. This one is still running quite well for its age, and we didnā€™t realize it was the original unit installed at our residence many years ago. We would recommend Roger and Total Home Services of Utah.

    Roger was excellent. He came and diagnosed throughout our AC system and found the leak. When we were ready for the fix, he showed up the next day and got thing done immediately. He even kept the price that he quoted me on the day before, even though the R22 freon price went up that day.

    Bought a brand new fridge and the defrost heater was not working. Called and had a tech come to my house the next day and got my parts in just a few days.     Our A/C died at 7:30pm on a Saturday night after a 100 degree day (with another forecasted for the next day). We were pretty desperate and I called Total Home Services expecting to get an automated away message. But Jeremy answered and was at our house within an hour, with the parts on hand he was able to fix it in about 10 minutes and get the cool air flowing again. We were so super thankful for the fast service on such short notice (on a weekend evening no less). Well use them in future if we run into any issue, and we definitely recommend them for fast heating and cooling service!

    This is my 3rd review of Total Home Services. We do like them.This time we had a problem with the water heater. When the repairman (JASON) diagnosed the problem, the part couldnt be found nearby. It was 50 miles away and it was Friday afternoon. It was at Standard Plumbing and they were NOT about trying to get it to us.Jason was almost as disappointed as we were. I really appreciated his concern and empathy. We had to go all weekend without hot water, WOW!! On Monday Jason came and replaced the part and got the water heater working.Everyone I dealt with at Total Home Services was very kind and compassionate. They areTaylor, Joelle, and Jason.     I didnt know Total Home Services, they were recommended by my home warranty company. They did a great job. The initial assessment was done quickly, (one day) and when it was determined that the AC needed to be replaced, they handled the details with the warranty company. I cant say enough good about Yannik Weich the installer. Very knowledgeable and professional, he had my old unit gone, the new one installed, all the lines evacuated and recharged with the new refrigerant by mid afternoon, and he remained onsite to let the system run through a couple of cycles as he made adjustments to get it functioning with tip top performance. Very professional, quick and courteous. What more can a consumer ask?

    After calling around to a few other companies who didnā€™t answer. I called Roger and Jeremy at 9:30 at night with a leaking GE refrigerator. I was so worried the water was going to ruin my floors. Not only did he reassure me he could help. He walked me through step by step exactly what to do. He stayed on the phone with me and was very patient with me. After we got it fixed he walked me through why my refrigerator was doing that. He is very respectful and professional.     Total Home Services was amazing!!! My air conditioning wasnā€™t working very well so they came out to look at it. Unfortunately my AC unit was beyond repair. They were helpful answering all my questions and helped me select the best new system for my home. Everything was up front and honest. No hidden fees or up-sales!!! Installation was quick and clean and they cleaned up like they were never there. The team didnā€™t leave until my new system was totally set up and had answered all my questions. I even got a call the next day to follow up with a promise for another follow-up visit the following week to double check everything. I canā€™t recommend Total Home Services of Utah enough!!!

    Had a good experience using this company. Our Furnace and AC was over 20+ years. We were able to finance to get Daikin units. We also qualified for the rocky mountain and dominion rebates so we are going to subtract that from the total when we pay this off. Hopefully we made the right decision to invest in a new system. Although there were some tricky areas to the house, they were able to remove and install new stuff in about 9 hours. Also adding that the service also came with a complete air duct cleaning. Jeremy and his team did the best they could. We appreciate their service and office team. Thanks again.

    My tech Weston was amazing! He picked up my water heater from RC Willey and brought it out to me quickly. He did an amazing job installing the new water heater and corrected the old plumbing issues from the old water heater. He cleaned up the area and all of his mess like he was never there and he hauled away the old water heater along with all of the debris. Weston was polite, efficient, courteous, and professional. When he was done he showed me everything he did and showed me where to find the companys info if I had any problems along with the installation date, which he wrote on the unit.     This company has taken care of us on 4 or 5 different occasions. The latest being, We have a home warranty company and we usually request Total Home Services when we have an issue because we know we will be treated right and with honesty and integrity. Well. Our Home warranty told us that Total Home Service was no longer with them. So they sent out another company. Big mistake. The tech that came told us we needed Freon because our install was done wrong. He fiddled with some things and told us not to use our AC and that they would file with the Home warranty company to go to the next step. Then we find out that we were going to have to pay almost $500 out of pocket because Freon was not part of the a=warranty. We called Roger Hughes, the boss at Total Home Services. He came right out. Fixed the system. Found where the Other guy flipped a breaker so it would not work no matter what. Told us that company is notorious for requiring Freon over loads. Fixed us right up. Told our home warranty company about the bad service they sent us, and they told us they have had other complaints so they dropped them from the list. Total Home Services of Utah is the best in the business. Will treat you right and you will get the best deal there is! And they stand behind their work. Thanks Roger!!!!!

    Wow, what a difference a day makes. After posting my initial review, I was contacted by the owner of the company an hour later, he was sincerely concerned about my satisfaction. I spent a few minuets telling him what had conspired. He told me I would have a tech at my house first thing in the morning to take care of the issue. That indeed happened and I couldnt me more grateful and totally satisfied with the tech Jeremy that obviously knew what he was doing. Not only did he resolved the problem he was a great guy. I appreciate family owned businesses, they get it. I will most definitely use them in the future if needed. I thought my issue might be a anomaly as I read through the other reviews as they were mostly 5 star. It seems that my issues were the perfect storm and unusual. I learned that sometimes you need to give a company a chance to make things right. They did exactly that.I was referred to this company by RC Willy, thats where we purchased the dishwasher. We had a leak in the basement I I thought it was coming from the dishwasher, I scheduled a appointment which was a week out. Got a call the date of the appointment that they had a emergency and would have to reschedule for a week later. The tech came out looked at the dishwasher, pulled it out from the counter and said there was no leak, pushed it back in and charged me 105.00 for the service call. He told me I needed a plumber. I called a plumber and they came out and fixed the leak. We went to use the dishwasher after and had standing water, which we did not have pryer to the water leak. I called Total Home Service to make a appointment and they were a week out, so scheduled another appointment. The tech shows up and upon arriving at my door he tells me its his second day on the job, Im thinking ok that should be ok cause they need certification by GE, so Im sure they have been trained. Anyway he pulls out the dishwasher and said the line was kinked, he also pulled the line and messed with it. I was watching him and could tell he didnt know what he was doing, he apologized and said we would have to get someone else to look at it so we rescheduled for a week later. I had called their office and told them I needed someone that knows what they are doing and that I was very frustrated. When the tech showed up it was the same guy! I told him that I had asked for someone that knew what they were doing and he assured me he did now. So he looks at the dishwasher, mind you he didnt pull it out, and said I needed a new motor? And he would have to order it, I asked him how he knew it was the motor? He said cause he replaced one the other day??? At this point I just want to get it fixed, he told me it would be a week, that was today, so I take another day off and wait no call, no schedule. I call the office and ask what time he will be here, the receptionist said the part had come it but it would be a week to have someone to install!!! At this point I ask to talk to a owner or a manager, the receptionist told me to call back later and maybe there would be one available later. I said please have them call me, she told me they were all too busy to do that. Sorry for the long review but good grief I have never dealt with such a unprofessional company. The side of their truck says satisfaction guaranteed, not so much.

    I had a really difficult time working with my warranty company on a dryer repair, but once Total Home Service got on the case, they were able to straighten everything out, undo all the weird administrative mistakes the warranty company had done, and then correctly service my dryer and get it working again. The whole time they were very professional, and did an excellent job.

    Lee did a fantastic job!! Our LG refrigerator was leaking water inside.He diagnosed the problem in a few minutes and ordered a new icemaker and installed it.     Lee is amazing! We have been trying to get our oven fixed for 3 months with a different company. Lee came today and took OVER AN HOUR looking diagnosing and testing to ensure that he ordered everything that was needed. He was able to reproduce all the problems we have been having and test the igniter vs the sensor. I am so grateful for Lee it feels like soon we will have an oven that actually works!
