Weve had Guarini do a few jobs over the years, mostly on short notice: two water heaters, and repair of a steam radiator boiler system. Every time Ive called them Ive been honestly surprised by how fast they show up (usually the same day!). Price has always been as good or cheaper than the quotes Ive received from other plumbers.A couple of times when weve had issues after repairs due to our ancient 120 year old house, theyve done a followup fix with no cost to us. Each time theyve walked us through the issues were facing and what parts theyre replacing, never once pressured us into more costly repairs.I really do appreciate the work you guys have done for us.

I recently had my water heater replaced by this company. By the way, this is my third time using them for a water heater replacement.My installers for the day were Ervin and Jeff. These guys were professional and they worked together as a team and did an excellent job. They completed the job in a timely manner and moved on to their next appointment.I initially asked a lot of questions before scheduling the appointment. The reason for all the questions is because it had been a number of years since I needed a water heater replaced.I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised to see the quality of work hadnt change throughout all the years with the company. Therefore, I have to strongly recommend this family owned company to anyone requiring their services.

I was able to schedule an appointment for this afternoon and received a confirmation email immediately. My water heater conked out on July 3rd (I guess it wanted its independence early). I contacted PSE&G Worryfree and we scheduled my replacement for July 5th with Guarini Plumbing & Heating. The two technicians, Filipe and Fernando, arrived on time. They assessed the situation and explained what needed to be done to bring the gas, vent, and water connections up to code. Around an hour and a half or so they had completed their work. Filipe and Fernando were polite, cleaned as they worked, and answered all my questions. A highly recommended team! Thanks guys.

We noticed the leak around 5:30am, was on the phone with this company at 7:30am and had a newly installed water heater by noon. Guarini Inc is doing work on a one block stretch of Magnolia Ave. They are replacing the water and sewer mains and replacing each homes water and sewer line from the curb. The crew is nice and when some water was leaking into my basement they quickly found and fixed it. I am grateful for the new lines being replaced at no cost to the homeowners. My only complaint (and knowing that Rome wasnt built in a day) is that they have been at it for 4 months with no end in sight. It is very disruptive to the neighborhood. I dont understand this. Are they being paid per diem?

Really top notch service! I own a home in jersey city and unfortunately had a lead water line and a collapsed clay tile sewer line. This was a big job considering the sewer line was 10 ft. deep. I got a few quotes from some other plumbing companies and they were mostly around the same price; some were very high though. But after speaking to Bill Oriani in the office and having him walk the job I was confident he can get the job done.Rachel in the office took care of all the scheduling and permit setup! Kudos to her as she had to deal with the historic department, building department, and traffic control. Living in JC; trust me that is no easy task!Guarini completed the job in 1.5 days and explained and showed everything to me every step of the way. Mike and his team came in to do an assessment on flooding we were experiencing inside of our home due to recent heavy rains/storms.He and his team flushed the pipes to the sewer, and then installed mechanisms which would prevent flooding from being a recurring issue for us in the future.The entire team at Guarini did excellent work. Kudos especially deserved to Linda & Carleen on the administrative staff for their integral roles in expediting resolution for us.

March 8 will had the 1st floor bathroom shower plate develop a leak and potential basement apt damage. Technicians Fred and T.J. arrived early, using CoVid-19 protocols and safety. They worked out a method where they did not need to break any wall or shower enclosure. This saved time and money. They replaced a 30 yr old Moen system will a diverter plate and newer Delta system, with updated code specs. Fred and T.J. were done in about 2 hours time, leaving the bathroom clean and usable. Job well done.

Update:After speaking with the owner after my experience with one of their employees. I am pleased to say that the company does care for the quality and safety of their customers. Proper guidance was given as to what the actual work entails and how we can go about resolving the issue.Had a horrible experience with one of their employees. They were set out to replace a water heater and were sent through pseg. The first comment from the plumber was do you have a private plummer or they are doing the job. I expressed thats why they were contacted and he continued to state that if they dont do all repairs they wont do the work. I understand things need to be to code but if someone is not informed of what is needed to be done for it to be to code one wont understand. He only kept stating its expensive and never fully explained the depths of the repair. Which is highly unprofessional also the way he spoke to me was very rude as if i am supposed to know what is the work needed to be done. Also he stated they cant evaluate more until monday which i also expressed to him that i have an autistic child in the home and i needed something done sooner which he said no i have to wait until monday. When my husband arrived his whole demeanor and his tone changed but at that point my husband told him to leave since he heard how he was speaking. And told me to contact the office and pseg again.I have read good reviews and I hope it was just one bad apple but they need to have there employees speak to people with Professionalism to be able to do proper business.I was able to speak to after hours team who ensured to have a supervisor call and have another plumber to evaluate and give a proper explanation as what exactly needs to be done.She is the only reason why Im able to give 2 stars I really hope my experience tomorrow will be better than what is was today.Highly upset that I have a family with children and elderly with no hot water for another day now.

We want to replace our HWH and called PSEG and they connected us with Guarini to provide the estimate/installation. Diego came promptly on 1/30/24 to provide a more detailed estimate, and he was incredibly thorough (testing water pressure and checking chimney venting). He provided info in laymen terms and handed me the written estimate. A different company provided an ballpark estimate on 1/29 but didnt do those tests, so we didnt have an accurate idea of the estimate add-ons that they wouldve stumbled upon. Im reaching out to Guarini for a revised estimate to change from gas to electric HWH. Like that they have qualified staff on the phone, scheduling, etc. Very happy with Guarini customer service.

I recently had my gas water heater replaced through PSE&G and they sent Guarini Plumbing to do the work. I had an overall positive experience and would definitely recommend this company.They showed up on the scheduled date/time and the price I was quoted was what I was charged. They had to replace an additional pipe that connects to the chimney (which cost me an extra $200+) but another company had also informed I would need to do that so I was ok with it. The installation guys were friendly and the work was completed in less than an hour.A few hours later I noticed some dripping from the pipe attached to the relief valve which stopped on its own. The next morning I noticed some additional drips and since I didn’t know that was normal I contacted Guarini and they scheduled someone to come between 1pm and 4pm the same day. At 4:30pm no one had shown up so I called them once again and later the same evening 2 different guys showed up. They checked and stated that things were good. They replaced the pipe with a longer one pointing directly in the drain pain (which should have been done initially. The old pipe was short and was dripping outside the pan).Since then things have been ok, I’ve been monitoring daily and I don’t see additional dripping. In summary, there are some things that can be improved but overall I was happy with the work.
