We just had our patio cover replaced by Blue Night Construction, and could not be happier with the results. Joe and Geovanni are true professionals, and the quality of their work is second to none. I highly recommend them to anyone interested in a wood patio cover or pergola.

My patio cover slats had a lot of fungus due to all the recent rain (winter 2023). And my prior handyman had moved to Texas. My wife found Blue Knight Construction online, and I though I would give them a try. Joe Rondstadt, the owner, came out and gave me a very reasonable quote to replace the damage. Joes tech, Giovanni, came out to my house here in Irvine and spent about half a day on the patio cover. It turned out way better than I could have imagined! Blue Knight is very thorough and definitely goes the extra mile. As much as possible, they cut and paint at their shop prior to showing up to minimize time. And Giovanni went the extra mile removing several bad slats, painting, touching up and cleaning up. I highly recommend Blue Knight for all your patio cover needs. Rod Stevens

There is so much thoughtfulness and care that Joe and his team took to build the perfect patio for my family. It is a work of art. Joe (owner) took his time to sketch a perfect plan, helped me approve this with my HOA, managed the Irvine city approval process, and communicated with me throughout the process. Joe Ronstadt and his crew from Blue Knight Construction did a real quality job in replacing our 30+ year old patio cover with a new one that will probably last much much longer. Joe has a lot of experience in building these type of structures and it shows in his attention in the design details and building practices his crew used. All materials used were the highest quality. One thing I particularly liked was that there was a full crew of three skilled carpenters working everyday until the job was completed. They never took off to work another job until my job was completed. Another small but significant detail that illustrates Joes professionalism was one day he gathered his crew to have a safety meeting. In response to a dangerous cracked and falling beam on a pergola, Blue Knight responded quickly with the best creative solutions and exacting, detailed, workmanship. They immediately shored up the beam, and within weeks came back to replace our side yard pergola completely. They even returned after the job was completed to modify the look of one area for me – no charge. Don’t settle for a lesser contractor.
