This was an incredible experience! We recently moved into our house and the basement had never been touched. CMH came in and did a complete finishing of the basement and we couldn’t be happier! The communication from CMH during the entire process was fantastic and really stands out as something you don’t see from many contractors today. We felt their quote was very fair. They started the job when they said they would and ended up finishing a week ahead of their initial estimate. Whenever any potential issue or delay would come up, they would immediately communicate with us and let us know the plan. The only “delay” we ever experienced was because a certain material was on back order from the manufacturer and CMH gave us consistent updates until the part came in. They just finished the job earlier this week and we are so excited to start using the space. We could not recommend them more!

CMH Builders, Inc. did an excellent job finishing my basement! From start to completion of the project, they were professional, responsive, prompt, and caring.Every person from CMH/their partner companies was friendly, on-time, and took great pride in their work. It gave me a great deal of confidence knowing the people entering my home each day were true professionals in every sense of the word.I also had the opportunity to interact with the owner of the company quite a bit during the project. Its clear to see that he deeply values customer feedback and holds his team to high standards.The communication from him and his team were top-notch throughout the entire basement remodel. I was as involved, or as hands-off, as I wanted to be every step of the way - but I always knew what was going on each week/day.Ultimately, CMH was able to complete my basement remodel ahead of schedule and deliver a new space in my home that is exactly as I had envisioned. Everyone was super easy to work with. Loved how project turned out and they made the design process easy. Only item we werent thrilled with was the quality of the flooring. Love the color of it, just super thin and would have spent extra on thicker/higher quality is all.

We used CMH to finish our unfinished basement. We had many different companies/contractors come out to bid on the job, and hands down CMH was the most professional and made the process easy from beginning to end. Every worker was friendly and professional. We had a wonderful experience and loved the finished basement. They make it so easy from picking everything out, decide on the design, and the communication. Our project manager, Juwan, was a delight to work with every step of the way! I can’t say enough good things about our experience.

We just completed our basement project with CMH and from start to finish they were excellent to work with. They took the time to answer all of our questions and were very flexible with any of the change requests we made. The entire team (framers, drywall team, electricians, plumbing and painting) were all very professional with us as well as made sure to clean up at the end of each day. Our PM Nick Vazquez was very prompt with responses and when onsite walked through and addressed any questions we had. All around great experience with CMH and I would recommend them to anyone looking to have their basement done.

Juwan Sargent was our PM he was excellent and got the basement finished quickly and effectively. Managed trades in and out well and listened when we had requests and issues that arose were solved quickly. Brandon was our salesperson and also excellent we felt we knew all the options we had to work within our budget and are so pleased with the end result of our finished basement.

If you’re looking to finish your basement, CMH Builders is the only name you need to know in Indianapolis. From start (January) to finish (April) they were courteous and punctual and communicative with me the entire time. Every facet of my basement project was tackled by a specialized professional. From the framing, painting, flooring and bathroom install right on down to the AMAZING bar install and movie theater installation...100% professional. I was especially struck by the joviality of the guys while working. They enjoy their work and it shows! I really appreciated the personal attention along the way and especially as the project completion grew near, the owner of the company made many visits out to personally see that things were to my satisfaction and if not, immediately handled it for me. CMH even has a terrific designer on staff that held my hand through the decision-making process which really helped ease some of my anxiety. Seriously, from start to finish, a great experience.

My experience with CMH builders was fantastic from start to finish. They are extremely professional, very good at communicating, and their business process is very efficient to complete projects ahead of schedule at or below budget. The process begins with the creation of your floor plan and 3D interior design. They work with you to get the plan and design that you want at no cost to you unless you decide to do business with them or you can purchase their plan to contract elsewhere. Once you have decided to move forward, you will select the interior furnishings with their interior design team in their showroom. From there you meet your project manager who is your point of contact throughout the process. He/she will manage contractors and sub contractors that do the work in your home, provide weekly status updates and plans for the next week, and make sure that the project is being completed accurately, on time, and at budget. Your project manager is who you can voice any concerns you may have throughout the process and they will take appropriate action to resolve any issues that you may have. Our project manager was Ryan Pruett. His professionalism, communication, attention to detail, and his genuine caring that we were happy and the quality of work of his company throughout the process was second to none. We were so pleased with the work and effort that Ryan put into our project. Our project was a complete finishing of an 1100 square foot walkout basement. This included full plumbing, electrical, HVAC, adding two bedrooms, two bedroom closets, two exterior bedroom windows, a living room, bar area, full bathroom, storage room, and utility room. I cannot say enough about the quality of work that this company provided. We are thrilled with the results, we would absolutely do business with CMH Builders again in the future, and we would recommend them to anyone in central Indiana that is considering finishing their basement.

Craig, Lindsey, and Brandon were all three very professional, enjoyable to work with, and knowledgeable of every aspect of our basement finish build-out completed recently. Brandon comes out to your house first, then meets you at the design center to deliver the estimate based on your desires (be sure to grab a free beer and a cookie if you’re there during snack time). 😉Lindsey helps you perfect the design once you sign up, and “El Presidente” (congrats again on 15 years) Craig personally sees to it your project is done on time and to your exact specifications. He spares no unturned detail, either. You need only trust he knows what he’s doing, remind him of a few things here and there, and he picks out other details even you don’t even see to ensure they’re correct when the project is done. The entire staff was pleasant to work with. The crew who actually came every day to build the place respects your home as well as being pretty fun to get to know - especially Ronny. Please give Ronny a hard time like he’s your best friend... he’s got the personality to handle it!But seriously, if you’re in the market for a basement finish and you live on the south side of Indy, Craig needs you to look him up. Despite the office/design center being on 86th Street just west of 421, Craig and his team wants your business because he’s looking for more projects south of town. Not to disrespect the Northsiders, he’s just looking for a larger footprint in town and more projects to showcase to potential clients all around the City. CMH Builders is an excellent contracting company. Never mind that Craig’s a Boilermaker! Haha... just playing with ya, Buddy... (Go Big Red)!
