    Lumens Electric is awesome! Jonathan was very courteous, thorough and professional. Hes an excellent electrician!They have replaced all my old lighting with new updated lighting and some outside lighting as well. This is a project Ive been wanting to do for a while now. Im so glad I picked this company they did an excellent job and I will be calling them again!

    Lumens replaced my main panel, along with a few small electrical projects around the house (installed stove wiring junction box and an outlet for the sink disposal). They did an excellent job and they displayed clear professionalism and competency. Getting the job planned and scheduled was a breeze, they were very communicative and they showed up on time. Would highly recommend working with this local company.

    Great service. Pablo, Jonathan, and Joe were very professional. We had a significant, urgent residential electrical issue. Pablo expertly diagnosed the problem. He and his team made the needed repair and got power back to my house. They also gave me a military discount which was much appreciated. I highly recommend Lumens Electric.

    Very good company so far. Carmelo was very knowledgeable and helpful and his assistant was very respectful. They worked hard and replaced our entire electrical panel and installed a plug for our generator. I would totally do business with this company in the future.

    During the 2021 freeze our pipes burst in the ceiling of our home. The water ran down the inside and out of the electrical box on the outside of the house. Water also got down in the ground wiring which damaged the lines and Centerpoint stated because it was outside the home the homeowners are responsible for the repairs. We found Lumens Electric LLC on Angies List, we looked at 7 different companies all were trying to charge $7,500 and above for the job. The owner of Lumens Electric LLC is a 2nd generation electrician who retired after more than 20 years at Houston Light & Power to join his fathers company which he now runs with his sons. The quote for the repairs was well below $6,000. Even though they had to dig up my yard and my neighbors yard for the underground repairs everything was put back in order. They worked quickly, they were extremely courteous, and cleaned up behind the job. They offer a good warranty on their work, we have not had any concerns since the repairs took place April 2021. I am happy to give these guys 10 stars and would recommend them to anyone needing a good electrician with experience and affordable pricing. The picture is one area where the pips burst, where the stove is that entire wall had to come out because the electrical box hangs directly behind it right outside and all the underground wiring runs right underneath that area.

    From first phone contact through completion of upgrading my electric panel and changing a fluorescent ballast, my entire experience with Lumens Electric went smoothly. Jonathan was prompt, courteous, thorough, attentive, and very professional in evaluating and estimating the work needed. I especially appreciated that he returned to oversee the final steps. The work crew, Carmelo and Freddy, were amazing. They worked quickly and were very neat. No debris was left behind. I would recommend Lumens Electric to anyone needing electrical work in their home.

    Great service. I have an old home that does not have a wiring closet for my phone or cable. I had to move my landline phone service to a new location in the yard. Lumens added a phone wiring cabinet in my attic, run a cat 6 cable from the new outside location to the wiring cabinet and then rewired my existing phone lines to the wiring cabinet.This is my second time to use Lumens for wiring changes in my house. They have also done work for my son at his house.Highly recommended.

    Lumens took the job on short notice and completed it on schedule and without hassles. They were very professional, coordinated with Centerpoint and City Inspection and kept us in the loop until completion. Prices were competitive. Would definitely recommend.

    Pablo and his crew have done two jobs for me and both were executed perfectly and affordably. They were friendly, courteous, punctual, and well organized from start to finish. Getting a quote and paying the invoice were a breeze. All in all, they upgraded my service amperage, replaced my main panel, ran wire for and installed outdoor ceiling fans, fixed a wiring issue with my doorbell, and ran a new circuit for an EV charger and installed the charging unit. If I have any electrical work in the future I will definitely be a return customer.

    About a month back, I used Lumens for replacing my 40 year old breaker and meter boxes. Right from the first call, Pablo and his team were prompt, professional and highly skilled through out the entire job. I got an affordable quote, compared to the other licensed contractors. Johnathon came for the inspection and explained the entire process clearly, from permitting to final walkthrough. He answered all my questions. On the scheduled day, the technician was on time. He worked with CNP and city inspectors to ensure a smooth job completion. They did additional wiring work and provided outside access for non-electricians, for no extra charge. They clearly marked all the breakers and gave me a walkthrough of the work done and tutorial of new box. During walkthrough, they realized a small thing which was left out - which they appraised me and took care of right away. I was very impressed with their thoroughness and honesty. I highly recommend them. I’ve decided to use them again for couple other projects in my home.

    After trying many big name electricians and being stood up or experiencing poor customer service, I decided to look for a smaller company.I chose Lumens based on their reviews and decades of experience in this industry.Jason was the electrician that came out & he was dynamic! He explained in full detail what the issue was with my outdoor dusk to dawn light.He told me what the fee would be and was prompt in going to get the new fixture I needed and installed it in a prompt timeframe.I will DEFINITELY be utilizing Lumens in the future.I also passed on their information to my family and friends.

    Jason was a clear and concise professional. He stated exactly what needed to be fixed, what could wait, and what was completely optional. His personable nature made it easy to talk with him and he was quick to replace our entire breaker box. With all that said, the price was comparable to other companies, and we could even finance. Would highly recommend them to anyone in the area!

    UPDATE: I have to add a negative note to my earlier glowing review. A couple of months ago, I called for an estimate. Mr. Rios came out and wrote down what I wanted to have done. Then I said other electric jobs are on my wish list but arent as high a priority. He urged me to describe the work or problem and hed get back to me with an estimate; I asked for a line-item estimate because I didnt think I could afford to have everything done at one time. He gave me one total estimate that, as I expected, I couldnt afford all at once. I texted back and asked how much it would be for just the couple of things that I could remember. Again, I got one total price with no itemization or even a task list. I just wanted for this much $#### we will do 1...2...3. When I texted asking for that, I didnt hear back. After another little while, I texted again asking the status, and they replied let me check. Then nothing. Crickets. Im very disappointed with my 3rd Lumens experience, and didnt want to have to look for another electrician.- - - - - - - - - - -PREVIOUS REVIEW: Lumens Electric is excellent. I’m having them out a 3rd time. The first two times, they replaced my breaker box, then installed a GFCI (GCFI?) plug at the back outside of my house. Always professional and work efficiently. Reasonable prices. I’m so glad I found Lumens.

    My wife and I bought our first house, built in 1955 and still had the original 100 Amp breaker box. Had Lumens come out and install the correct 200 Amp Breaker box. The Electrician, Jason was extremely professional and completed the job in 8 hours.

    Lumen’s replaced all of the original 1961 wiring in my home, bringing everything up to code. The team and owner were consistently polite, professional, on time and always communicated in a timely manner. It was a big job and they had to work around our family as this was not a renovation - we were living there for the entire project. I have no complaints or concerns and really can’t say enough nice things. So glad I found them.

    I have used this company twice once to andd ann electric outlet and the second time was to install an electrical wall panel and both times I was extremely pleased. I have had no issues both are working properly. They offer fantastic service with very pleasant technicians and fast service.     I am very satisfied with the lumens service...Some companies charge a fee to come out and give you a quote, however, Lúmenes did not do that and their quote came out at a very competitive price.The work was completed on time and as expected.The workers were polite and professional and helped me understand everything they were working on and doing as the project progressed to completion.I couldnt have asked for a more pleasant experience.
