I came across Cravens Electric as I was looking for an honest, reliable, and affordable electrical company to fix my home dryer. Every time my dryer would turn on, big sparks would come out from between my two outdoor electrical boxes.The first company that came out was giving me different quotes that were just costing me an arm and a leg up to both arms and legs. And still wouldnt fix the problem since I was being quoted for a whole bunch of unnecessary items that I didnt need at the time.The second company charged a trip fee to just come to my house and show me a tablet with a $300.00 plus price just for them to take a look at my issue, which was a hidden fee. The same details I explained to the technician in person, I couldve explained over the phone and saved myself the trip fee for them to say that I was going to get charged a big fee to just start looking for a problem. 👎🏼Finally, Cravens Electric showed up and found the problem almost instantly, very knowledgeable, giving me a good explanation for my problem and what the solution was to get my dryer up and running again. They didnt try to sell me any other unnecessary stuff or fancy packages, but only what I needed and what I was asking for. Throughout the repair, the team was very professional and attentive to detail about my property, which was a plus. They were extremely helpful in getting my dryer and house back in service in a good timely manner.Its just like the mechanics. You cant just trust any mechanic because theyll try to sell you an alternator when all you need is a new set of windshield wipers...I will definitely use them again in the future for other electrical projects, and I highly recommend them. 👍🏻

I highly recommend Cravens Electric! Israel and Tracy came and changed 5 regular outlets to GFCI outlets and did a very nice job cleaning up afterwards. They were very professional and polite. I liked that I was provided an estimate before they started the work so there weren’t any surprises.

Tracy was back along with Isreal to install a whole home generator. They were the general contractor and managed everything. Were super happy with the entire experience.

A lifetime client was made. I can’t explain how amazing the customer service was in my experience. I contacted on a Friday night at 6pm to let them know a portion of my house had no power. They literally were on their way home for the weekend and turned around to come help me and my family. This right there should show you how amazing of a company this is. They fixed my issue and were very professional. It just impressed me that they dropped everything and made me feel like the #1 customer. Highly recommended!!!

Luke and Estaban gave me the estimate for the service I asked for, then offered an optional solution which lowered the cost by almost 80%. Did the job on the spot and cleaned up perfectly. They were professional and friendly. I will only use Cravens Electric from now on. I highly recommend..

We had an installation of a ceiling fan that was 15ft high and a light fixture that was 20ft high. Drew and Chris were really great, professional and friendly. There was a point when we realized that the wires on our new light fixture had been cut, so we needed to take it back. They went the extra mile and waited for us to take it back and return with a new one. Great service all the way around.

They were finished with the work in a reasonable time and everything is working again. Unfortunately my home will need more work in the future as it is getting older, but I look forward to working with the guys at Cravens Electric again. I cant recommend them enough!

Cravens Electric just finished installing our new ceiling fan. We have cathedral ceilings in my home and the wiring in our fan was severed previously. The fan is extremely high up and located at the bottom of a 6 foot down-rod so this was no easy task. Oscar came to assess the situation and notified me that the fan I had purchased required a 3/4 inch down-rod and the previous fan used a 1/2 inch. I called to both Lowes and Home Depot and neither had 6 foot down-rods in the size I required. I let Oscar know and he had his coworker Jacob drive to RICHMOND (!!! We live in Pearland) to grab the rod from a light fixture store. I was truly blown away with the level of professionalism and helpfulness they displayed today. They were kind and courteous even sweeping and vacuuming my floor after they finished. The ceiling fan looks amazing and they explained to me how they wired it so that the fan and light would be operable using separate switches which is something really convenient that our previous fan didnt do. I will recommend Cravens to anyone I know thats in need of electrical work. Thank you so much Jacob and Oscar! We really appreciate your hard work and willingness to go above and beyond.

HANDS DOWN BEST SERVICE EVER!!!!They came out to my house today and fixed all sourts or problems!! Fixed fans lights and did the attic lighting to!!! Very low price for the work, and I must say the work was beyond expectation and perfection!! Some time last year they also did the whole electrical system to my house and did again an outstanding job. If youre looking for someone who is nice and professional then Cravens is the way to go!!!

If I could, I would leave 6 stars. I had an electrical problem in my guest room earlier this year and had another company come in to fix the problem. And then it happened again, both times while guests were visiting from out of town. I didnt want to go back to the original company as they obviously didnt do the job correctly. I then found Cravens Electric from Angies List and their response time was incredible. I arranged for service the following day and they called twice to update me on the technicians arrival.My technician was Oscar and he was fantastic! Not only did he explain everything to me giving me options he was incredibly respectful of my home and left his work area neat as a pin.I would highly recommend Cravens Electric and Oscar to anyone and will most definitely use them again in future.

This is my second time using Cravens Electric and both times they have been PHENOMENAL. They are very professional and are great subject matter experts when it comes to electrical matters. About a year ago, my grandmother needed a new breaker box installed because her panel box was very old and outdated. They came right out and installed it for her. Just recently we had a breaker that kept tripping for unknown reasons to us. Justin and Esteban came right out the next day and were able to diagnose the problem. They fixed the issue and charged us a very good price and even gave my grandmother a senior citizens discount. If you have any electrical problems/issues, I suggest you give them a call.

I want to give a shout out to Luke at Cravens. My husband was about to install a portable generator that cost almost $1000 Luke recommended he get a much cheaper generator because it was more powerful and better quality. My husband returned the first generator, got the cheaper one , he hooked it up and it is good to go! Luke did not have to do what he did. You want a company with good people, check out Cravens.

We had to get our 2000 sqft house completely rewired. Cravens replaced knob and tube, updated the breaker box and made sure the house was completely up to the latest codes. Well worth the money we spent on the work. These guys were honest and professional throughout the 10-day job. We were impressed at how surgical these guys worked when it came to the rewiring, the dry wall repair work was easy enough for us to fix ourselves afterwards and was not nearly as extensive as we initially feared. Would recommend in the future.

I’d give Oscar and Christian more stars if I could! They installed a ceiling fan in our two-story living room using a very tall ladder. They were very conscientious not to ding doorways, or walls while bringing the ladder in and out. They both were very knowledgeable and pointed out issues with our original wiring, and made thing right / safe. Thank you for a great experience!!

Surprisingly Awesome!! For a contractor I must give Cravens Electric a 5 Star. I called one late afternoon and the lady answering the phone was very nice and she had to call me back to let me know someone if someone could visit me the next morning. She did call me back and told me someone would be at my home the next day around 9 AM and he did and he were on time. I needed a new electrical panel they had it installed the same day. There were 2 installers and both were very nice, respectful and knowledgeable. They cleaned up and were gone by 6 PM. Their price was reasonable compared to other quotes I had gotten. I most certainly will use them again in the future.
