We built our home 27 years ago and had our first plumbing need! I had no idea who to call. I searched google for someone local with good reviews and decided to call MT Dunn at 7:20am (their posted hours started at 7am). At first I thought Id made a mistake as it sounded like I might have woke someone up and the call ended with me being told someone would get back to me. I didnt have high hopes. But a few hours later I got a call back from a nice guy who said hed be by later in the afternoon. He ended up calling saying he could arrive even earlier (around 12pm). It was a big job (a very clogged kitchen sink pipe which was clogged 30 feet out in the crawl space and the clog was 30 feet long). I wasnt able to be home but my son was able to be here. Dan or Dean (I cant read his signature) did a great job! I sincerely appreciate that they were able to come the same day. I will definitely call MT Dunn should I have future plumbing needs!

Just had my second occasion to use MT Dunn Plumbing in Hillsboro, and again couldn’t be more pleased. One was standard interior plumbing work (faucet replacements) and this morning was an emergency sump pump replacement. Mike Dunn and his staff are responsive and professional. Great communication and documentation. I’ve found my plumber, and will most definitely call him again the next time I need plumbing assistance. Two thumbs up! 👍👍 Thanks Mike!

During the freeze that started on Friday 1/8/24 I lost heat then power, and as a result I had a pipe off washer in the kitchen burst. I was gone, my neighbor had checked and found flooding.I called other plumbers the next morning, and was being told I could get an appointment in February. others varied by one to weeks wait, even though I explained I had no water, as it had to be turned off for obvious reasons.I called these guys and it was given the immediate attention it deserved. They came right out and did an amazing job.Mike was quick but thorough, and made sure everything was OK before he left.From now on I will be calling M T Dunn for my plumbing needs.They actually seemed to care. That seems to not be the case with many. Mike and his son are an asset in their field.

These guys are trustworthy. We’ve used them twice already, in 2018 and again in 2024. Different issue. Both times they came on time, professional, and efficient. Efficiency is important especially when locating a leak and they charge hourly.

Mike was really responsive and came out quickly for a very small gas leak on the water tank heaters pilot gas line. Explained what he was doing, found the location of the leak and quickly fixed the issue. He was also willing to wait around when I asked if he can double check the fix at the end of the visit. He patiently answered all my other plumbing questions while we waited. Friendly, patient, efficient and fast! He also gave me a much lower quote for a replacement water tank heater. Definitely recommend Mike from M T Dunn Plumbing!

We had a great experience with M.T. Dunn when they replaced our water heater today. It was not an emergency, and the owner took the time to have a thorough back-and-forth e-mail conversation with us about our needs that took place over a couple of months while we made up our minds. Great customer service! We had.tried this with other, larger companies, but they would hardly talk to us. Mr. Dunn arrived on time and did a thorough professional job, including clean-up, for a reasonable price, and even threw in some unanticipated needed parts for free. I strongly recommend this company!

We had an excellent experience with MT Dunn Plumbing.Our water heater was leaking and needed to be replaced. We called Mike and set up an appointment. He called to let us know they were in route, showed up on time and did an excellent job. They were curtious, did a great install, explained how to use the new water heater, cleaned up / removed debris when finished and their price was within the range initially quoted.I would recommend MT Dunn Plumbing to anyone looking for a quality plumber at reasonable prices!

I cant believe how fortunate I was to find M.T. Dunn Plumbing. i would give him 10 stars if I could. Mike and team exceeded my expectations for our master bath remodel which included and additional sink, custom shower, and steam generator installation. I cant say enough about his reasonable pricing, attention to detail and pride in a job done right. He obviously knows plumbing and spent extra time to help me understand the important points I needed to consider as a homeowner. Plus, he was very collaborative with my general contractor whom hed never met before. And, when I increased scope on the fly, he was nothing but accommodating and helpful. It can be hard to find good contractors these days which is why Im so glad to have found Mike. Dare I say I cant wait for my next plumbing need so that I can work with him again? Yes. Hes that good!

My old water heater died. I called MT Dunn plumbing at 7:15 am and they had someone here by 9:00 am with a new water heater and had it all installed and up and running by 11:00 am! Amazing service. Friendly plumber. They hauled away the old water heater and all of the packaging from the new water heater. Highly recommend!

My old (3 year old) water heater was no longer able to heat, and I called to have it fixed. Dunn told me that its a Home Depot special model thats not worth fixing, and he explained how to return it to Home Depot for a refund (so nice to get $800 back for the piece of garbage!). He then installed a good water heater, for a very reasonable price. I really appreciated being told over the phone how to check problems with the old water heater (he trusted me to be somewhat handy and able to drain the water heater to check for sediment, and turn on and off various valves). I really appreciated his work and honesty!

Our tankless water heater wasn’t heating any water. I called Mike at MT Dunn Plumbing and even though he was unable to come to check it out that day, he went out of his way to help me find information on what the problem might be, and how to contact the water heater company to get technical help. He was kind and helpful, going above and beyond. Very rarely do you find a company that cares about its customers so much. MT Dunn will be my go-to plumber for any future plumbing needs!This is an update to this review, because I couldnt find how to post another one. We discovered a leak under our kitchen sink so I called Mike. It appeared to be a leak at the faucet, and since we were thinking about replacing the faucet, we decided to do that. Mike told me where to go to look at different faucets and what might be good kinds. I purchased one I liked and Irich came out a few days later to install it. He did a wonderful job, we love our faucet and appreciate Mikes expertise and willingness to help in any way he can.

He replaced our hot water heater (which was up in the attic), replaced our kitchen faucet & installed a water structure unit onto our water main. Our pipe burst and we started calling. Got a call back right away from Mike, who sent IRich out to help us locate and turn off the main shut off valve. IRich came back 30mins later to fix the pipe. We were extremely satisfied with the service and would highly recommend MT Dunn Plumbing.

He was careful as he worked in my crowded home, and he cleaned the area when he was done. His price was more than fair. You cant ask for anything more than that. I heard dripping in my bathroom and assumed a kid hadnt turned off the shower all the way, but when I checked it out the shower was off and the dripping was coming from inside the wall. I called M.T. Dunn plumbing after reading their high reviews. Im so grateful I called them. They squeezed me in their schedule the same day I called and fixed everything the same day! We thought we would have the water off for much longer. Professional, courteous, tidy. I will be recommending them to everyone I know. Excellent!!!

I contacted Mike on his web site help request page to have a knocking sound fixed. He was on vacation and still got back to me right away. He replied telling it sounded (by my description) like a failed PRV and he would be back from vacation on Monday and would contact me then.On Monday, Mike called and we set a time for his son Irich to come out and fix the PRV. Irich showed up right on time and made quick work of fixing my knocking sound by replacing the PRV. He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and did a very nice job on the valve replacement.I couldnt be happier! I highly recommend Dunn plumbing and Mikes son Irich.

These guys did some work on a home I purchased sight unseen in Oregon. I was completely at Mikes mercy when it came to literally every aspect of said work. Ive had poor experiences in the past with contractors on out of state real estate deals and Im super suspect. Like....super suspect mike was sensitive to this and never used it as an excuse to be inpatient or to get offended. I also made not 1 not 2 but 3 surprise visits to the house and checked up on the progress. Mike was ahead of schedule every time I showed up. Never asked for a draw other than what wed agreed on and didnt try to squeeze in an extra penny on me. I can say with absolute certainty that these guys could have taken me for a ride given my geographical capacity to keep monitor their work. I can also say with absolute certainty that they didnt. Our water heater starting leaking and we called around to several places for quotes. MT Dun was competitive and we went with them and couldnt be happier.
