Clog Busters recently installed a sewer line and did repairs on my mom’s house that was for sale. This had been my mom’s home for 63 years so it was an emotional time. Clog Busters was a great company to work with. Tom the owner explained all the work and Tricia in the office was very responsive and also kept in touch with my realtor. Jeremy the foreman always answered all my calls and texts and met me with me personally several times as well as the new owners. I really enjoyed working with him. #1 go too company for sure. Clog busters is hands down a top notch company! These folks really set the bar high. They were willing to work night shifts from sun down to sun up at a fairly difficult job that seemed doomed from the start. They rolled into town and meant buisness. The crew was very welcoming and made the atmosphere of the job seem stress free with there knowledge. They pipe lined well over 120 of 6inch pipe. Looked amazing on camera when it was all said and done. I have you know, this was a very high profile job and these guys saved the store from being shut down for over a week if we would have ended up having to trench it all through 10inch concrete under the fuel pumps. Talk about a money saver and you couldnt even tell they were there when they rolled out. Thank you clog busters! I contracted Clog Busters based on the inspection report that the sewer system of a home I purchased had some cracks. I appreciated the quick quote. Unfortunately, they were busy so I waited a month to have them begin the work even though I had to pay 50% down just to schedule. No big deal, I guess. They came out as scheduled but after spending two days to install the clean out, I was told that I had to wait two more weeks to actually install the liner. The crew itself was great. Respectful and communicative. No one want to pay money for something they cant see. I give the crew 5 stars, the company 3. Thus the 4 stars.

Your workmen did a good job -- they identified what was causing the blockage and cleared out the sediment that had built up in the drain pipe. What I especially appreciated -- after they identified where the blockage was, they inserted a plastic drain pipe above ground until they could return to clear out the blockage. It was expensive to get everything working again. The 2-person crew came two times.

Had a home inspection done recently and the company subcontracted a sewer scope with them. I have the name of the employee, but dont want to throw him under the bus. In summary, he did fine, was quick, thorough, and told myself and my broker what needed to be fixed.The only part I AM disappointed with is that I asked for an estimate for repair. He said he had no idea, couldnt even guess. Yes he DOES have some idea, unless he is brand new and never did this before. He wouldnt even give a price bracket. My broker gave me an estimated cost. Thats all I wanted.Good service, but you can at least give a customer some general idea of the cost to fix.

Every time it rained hard, the drain would back up and flood my garage. Clog Busters put a new drain, piping and a cover after discovering that the old pipe was crushed midway down. So far we have not had to run out into the rain and start the pump, and it has been raining hard for a couple of days! Great to work with!

Update (8/9/21) - Well, as predicted we had another back up with our kitchen sink and downstairs wet bar. Called Realistic Rooter who did some work with us and they were booked out until August 30th. Went back to Clog Busters and had an estimate for same day service in the afternoon (2-4). Surprisingly, Nate showed up to do the work about 10a! He cleared the clog with some pressure water, pointed out a few things we can do to keep this from happening, answered all of our questions, and left the place as clean as he found it. Respectful and kind. Outstanding service (again!) and would definitely recommend Nate and Clog Busters (If they arent available for your needs, also try Realistic Rooter). Having a couple of good, trustworthy plumbers in the Portland area is a real comfort. 10/10 would still recommend!Had a clog in the main line that backed up water all over the basement wet bar when the dishwasher would drain or the kitchen sink was used. Originally called Crown Plumbing, who was entirely booked up for the day; they recommended Clog Busters. The team took the time to explain the problem, the solution, and future steps to ensure the problem would be abated. 10/10. Would use Clog Busters again (and given the age of our house, will probably need to).

I needed a main line cleared and anther company charged me and still didnt fix the problem (3 Mountains Plumbing). Clog Busters came to the rescue and was very fair and honest with us. I used some Drain O a day before Clog Busters came so they started with a scope rather than trying to charge me for something I didnt need. Fortunately it was clear and I was only charged the scope fee. I really appreciate a company like Clog Busters and they will be my first call next time anything backs up.

Clog Busters has been amazing! In the trades I find that customer service is not always the highest priority, this is not the case with Clog Busters. I called at 8:00AM on a Monday and Tricia (apparently the owner) said she would get us on the list for the day. Matt, called me shortly thereafter to say that he was working in the neighborhood on a house where owner was not home and could come as soon as it was convenient for us. So, he was at the house by 8:30 AM and had the problem solved by 9:15 AM. Matt did a great job of cleaning up what had been a filthy bathroom.I could not have asked for better service, from the back office support to the technician they were outstanding. They will forever be my first call with sewage problems...

Called for help with a mystery clog, way back in on of my drain pipes, that was backing up water into my garage. They scheduled me in next-day and Chase arrived promptly 5 mins before the start of their two hour window.The clog problem I struggled with for 2 days, took him less than an hour to fix and he was able to alert me to other potential problems with my system that I wasnt even aware of. The level of customer service was excellent and the pricing was transparent and fair.Would definitely call them again (hopefully I wont need to for a while).

Last week I wrote the love Clog Busters review below, and this week I love them even more! After unclogging my pipe last week, everything drained fine and then a few days later, things backed up again -- on the weekend no less. Travis, one of the technicians who had helped last week, was swamped, so he gave me names of a couple of other places to call. When they couldnt come, he prioritized me to see first thing on Monday. Then, after he got rid of the new clog, he didnt charge me a thing! I couldnt believe it!The old plumbing in my house is sure to get clogged up again, and the only company Ill be calling from now on to help me is Clog Busters. Ive been telling all my friends about my great experience with them, too. As I said below, theyre efficient, competent, show up when they say they will, and they have a heart.(First post below.)----------------------------My plumber recommended that I call Clog Busters when my plumber was too booked up to get to my house when sewage started coming into my basement. I was so relieved when Clog Busters said that someone could be at my house in a half an hour. I was certainly pleased when the two technicians arrived even sooner than that. But best of all, these two men quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and left my basement floor clean and sanitized.Shortly after they left, I called them about something new that I noticed that I thought might be related to the problem they had just fixed. Without hesitation, Clog Busters came back to check things out. Turns out it was a different issue that I could deal with later. Instead of being annoyed with me, the technicians were very courteous and told me thered be no extra charge for this return visit. I am so pleased with this company! Efficient, competent, and they have a heart.

My family owns a restaurant in North Portland and when a drain was clogged behind the bar Clog busters came out to fix it. We were very impressed how quick and professional the technician was and he even checked all of our other drains and toilets as a courtesy. We decided to make them our go to plumbers. A few weeks later on a busy night at 11pm both toilets began to overflow and a drain behind the bar began to overflow as well, we had to close down for the night unfortunately. Clog busters came first thing in the morning and were able to fix the problem that was in our main line. They sent a scope down and sent a reasonable quote for a permanent fix but also gave us other options in case we couldnt afford to do the big fix of how to maintain what weve got so it doesnt happen again until we can afford to do the large fix. I really appreciated that. We were once again impressed how quickly they got the job done, they even sanitized everything.We originally just called them on a whim after searching for a plumber online and they were the only ones who could come that day. We are so glad we found them, they are very professional and reasonably priced.Thanks again!

I have used their service a few times over the years and always been happy except this last time. They came and removed the clog, (somewhere under the house), but didn’t clean out the pipe between the sink and the pipe they removed to access the clog downstream. They told me the auto vent needed to be replaced as the sink was still draining slowly. Turns out the pipe just below the sink had sludge that was blocking about half the diameter. Thus the slow drain. Wasn’t real happy about paying for a service that I ended up having to redo (bottom of sink area), myself. Gave them a four past food service and the noted tags.

So we had a kitty emergency during our renovation and one of our cats had gone somewhere in-between the first and second floor and Tom, the owner and cat aficionado, came over to try and scope in the joists. Tom came in the middle of his work day, all the way out in NE in Cully, to help us find Shanks the Cat, and didn’t charge us a dime. Incredible!I have worked with this company several times as a real estate broker and they have gone above and beyond to make the sewer scope work (climbed on the roof- crawl through hellish crawl spaces, etc) and after this crazy experience I now know that the whole company culture is all about helping and service.When I called in begging for cat assistance they had no idea who I was- and I didn’t say that I had worked with them through my clients. Wasn’t until afterwards, after Tom said it wouldn’t cost a dime, when we got to talking that came to light as I hadn’t met him before on the inspections and learned then that he was the owner. Dealing with people with expensive, gross problems is a hard business which Clog Busters does well.I figured out that I had a major sewer problem after mopping up five buckets of black water in my basement. I was heading out on business trip later that day, after an appointment with the plumber I usually hire. Unfortunately, my regular plumber confirmed that I had a major problem that he wasnt equipped to handle. He referred me to Clog Busters.Travis from Clog Busters arrived an hour after I called (still 3 hours until I had to get on a plane) and quickly diagnosed the problem and got the sewer line working until the repair could happen. Getting the sewer line working involved yarding a huge root out of the line 40 feet from the access point.My wife and daughter were joining me on the road later that week for an extended weekend adventure. Travis and the Clog Busters team quickly motivated to squeeze our project in while we were away which was incredibly helpful.Our project entailed hand digging a nine foot hole under our front porch in addition to the other difficult and unsavory tasks associated with replacing a sewer line. The team at Clog Busters killed it. No unforeseen, expensive additions to the scope of work, no delays, no hiccups, just a new sewer line when we returned from our weekend adventure.Fixing a broken sewer line is a difficult, expensive, and high-stakes endeavor. It might be possible to find another company that would do as good a job as Clog Busters, but it is not possible to find one that could do a better job.

I love these guys! We had water coming up in the basement from an old drain pipe and clean-out, and Travis form Clog Busters came out to find the source of the leak. He quickly diagnosed tree roots blocking our sewer line, and since water had no escape route to the city sewer, it ran into our basement through the old clean-out drain. Clog Busters scheduled us in for the next week, and they came out and put in a new sewer line, and we had them install a new water line while they were at it, and now everything is going quite well. The whole team is calm, professional and really good at what they do.I appreciate their efficient sewer line replacement. Instead of digging up the whole front yard, they do pipe-bursting from the street into the property. They had to dig up part of our garden, a 4 foot by 3 foot section, and they had to go down 9 feet to get to the sewer line, but they protected our lawn, garden and driveway from all the mud and machinery. After connecting the line, they refilled the garden hole, sealed off the old drain pipe and clean-out in the basement and now we are good as new.
