Flash electric did an amazing job for us, on short notice they jumped to the task and took care of everything. I cant speak enough to how high the quality and professionalism was. On top of everything the price was lower for more work than any other competitors we received quotes from. Even the inspectors were impressed. If you have any reservations about getting electrical work done leave it to flash electric. Couldnt be happier and would recommend them above all others.

I always look for local, reliable, reasonably priced, and when the work is completed, it is well done and cleaned up. Flash Electric meets all of that criteria and more. I decided at last minute after doing a cabinet project that I actually needed a couple of more outlets. Sam came out, gave me a time and materials quote and in less 45 minutes the project was done. One of the best experiences I’ve had with a home repair contractor in my 20 years of owning a home.I needed a wall switch and under-sink outlet installed for a garbage disposal. I called Friday. Sam arrived first thing Monday morning, gave me an estimate, and said they could work me in same day due to a cancellation.A couple hours later two electricians arrived and got straight to work. It’s an old house, and routing the wiring was challenging, but they handled everything quickly and professionally. They cleaned up when they were finished, and the whole thing was done in about 2 hours.The price was reasonable and the service was great. I would definitely use them again should the need arise.

Sam the owner followed up with the demo of the system to make sure that I understand how to switch on my generator and connect it to the house. They are also price competitive. I hired Flash Electric to wire an unfinished basement and install a generator kit so I can run my house with a generator in the event of a power outage. I had to call for service on Labor Day weekend. Flash Electric was one of the few businesses that even provided emergency service on the holiday weekend. Sams wife runs the office and she was wonderful. Very kind and understanding of my frustration. I also appreciated the communication regarding what I could expect when Sam got here as well as the updates on when I could expect him. He even arrived earlier than she initially said and she let me know that and that he was on his way.Sam was very personable and professional. He assured me he would be able to fix my problem and he did. Again, he was wonderful with communication along the way. I also appreciate that he keeps the necessary supplies on his truck. First, I would like to say Flash Electric was very quick to respond. The owner of the company took my call and just happened to be finishing up at another job and said he would come right over, which was a blessing to say the least. He was very polite! When he got to the house there was a bit of a mystery with where the source of the problem was, but he was determined and patient. He even went underneath the house to investigate the problem. The problem was solved and the power was restored. The price was very fair!!! Flash Electric is a great company--they are indeed experienced professionals. Definitely give these guys a call!

Sam was great! We had a 65” TV mounted over our fireplace which had a plank wall on it. Before Sam, people advised our plank wall would have to come down or have many of the planks removed. Sam was able to remove the planks, run the wires and then to my shock he replaced the planks. He cut perfect squares for the outlets on the plank wall. It is Gorgeous! His assistant Duncan, installed two outlets in our garage and they look like they’ve always been there. Beautiful work all around! And the guys were upbeat and positive the whole time they were working. Their energy was contagious. I really appreciated Sam’s recommendation on the TV mount because it was overwhelming trying to pick one on my own. Extremely happy with the work and professionalism! We will do business again!

I needed a Westinghouse generator I bought at Home Depot installed. I’d had the generator for almost 3 years and had had such a difficult time finding someone to install it. The companies I’d called in Greensboro seemed to only want to install the ones they sold or just the high end brands. It was very discouraging. On a lark I called Flash Electric in High Point. When he came for the appointment in under 3 hours a transfer box for the generator was installed, explained to me and my husband twice, generator started several times and project done. Amazing!! Totally freaking amazing.And one other thing - the communication was almost instantaneous. Fantastic experience.

Very pleased with the work Sam did for us! We had a brand new light fixture installed in our dinning room and had it installed about 3 feet from where our previous light was located. I have had these guys out several times already as the age if my home is problematic when it comes to electricity. They are on time every time and they are always professional. They explain whats going on so you feel informed and make suggestions that fit your lifestyle. Today, I had them out to fix some ceiling lights that stopped working due to old wiring. I explained I hated my fixtures and we made a plan to change them out and add more outlets (old home means not enough outlets).They made great suggestions and fixed the problem. They are kind, professional, and tidy. They also all have great senses of humor which made me feel at ease (its nerve wracking having bad wiring).I will continue to call them as I work on my home. I have already recommended them to several friends. Really takes the stress out of needing to call a professional.

Sam is great! i Had a gfi outlet that kept clicken off which a sandwich table was connected to he came in diagnosed the issues in about 10 mins turned out it was connected to another outlet out side that got water logged cause of a leaky cover & the gfi was doing it’s job he replaced the outside outlet & cover & all was good a total pro, fair price quick & clean. Not to mention screwed on a door nob for us!!!

Context: I had a separate electrician perform some work on my house, but they ended up causing more problems than I initially started with. I reached out to that company, and they told me sorry, not our problem despite now not having power to a part of my house.That is when I reached out to Flash Electric. They were booked up pretty full but made the time to come out and see what was exactly happening. Within that short visit, the electricians noted that the previous company had installed a faulty breaker, which was arcing and causing my outage. Sam and his guys fixed this issue the same day and actually explained the underlying problems.I have since used Sam and Flash Electric to perform a panel upgrade and a service upgrade to my house, which was booked and executed at the price I was quoted. Everyone on his team was professional and knowledgeable about their trade. I have not had any problems since and will absolutely be using Flash Electric again for my future projects.
