I recently used Ackert Electric to change some thermostats from analog to digital and to change a dishwasher plug from hard wired to a plug under the sink. I was impressed with every aspect of this company, from the first phone call, to some follow up phone calls regarding the specifics of the quote, to the actual work done. With respect to the actual work, I particularly appreciated their efficiency (especially important when paying hourly!), the quality of the work, their friendliness and their professionalism. I would not hesitate to call them again for any future work. This company knows how to do business!

The owner and his company are one of the good guys. Incorporated over 10 years ago. A US Veteran. He and his team do stellar work. I have personally known the owner for at least 12 years. Always a Stand up Guy. Checking the CT Website Tim has never sued in State Court. Owner has been licensed with the State of Conn Since 1987. AND no complaints filed. 5 Star recommendation.

I’m a plumber who works locally. Today was the second time this year that I ran into a snag and needed an electrician on a job ASAP. I called the office and spoke with a lovely young lady who was able to get me someone quickly and did so with great customer service. They sent out Matt who was able to help us restore water to a 92 year old gentleman’s house. He was nothing but positive and patient, especially when it came to my many questions. They will continue to be my guys when I need help in the field and I know I’ll be able to count on them when I Inevitably mess up something in my own home. Thanks again guys!!

WE WISH WE COULD OF GIVEN ACKERT ELECTRIC 6 STARS WE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE BREAKER FOR OUR WELL CALLED THERE OFFICE AND WAS IMMEDIATELY TRANSFERRED TO TIM ACKERT THE OWENER HE SAID HE WOULD COME TO OUR HOME NOW NOT 20 MINUTES AFTER THAT CALL HE WAS AT OUR HOUSE BROUGHT A NEW BREAKER LOOKED AT ARE PANEL AND HE WAS ABLE TO GET OUR OLD BREAKER WORKING AGAIN WHEN ASKED HOW MUCH WE OWED HIM FOR HIS EMERGENCY VISIT TIM SAYS THAT THERE WAS NO CHARGE WOW!!!!!! IF THATS NOT 110% I DONT KNOW WHAT IS VERY RARE KIND OF A MAN. THANK YOU SO MUCH TIM. PAUL&SUZY MARTINS

I couldn’t be happier ! A tree had fallen and knocked out my electric from the house . I was referred to ackert elec by my uncle who has been in the business for years. And he was right . After I made the call they were there within a half hour and less than an hour for repairs. So happy with the job and the efficiency. Thank you so much I would recommend ackert for electrical needs to anyone who needs this service. Local and reasonable they get my 5.. I will be using the again soon .
