Boiler Installation was well done , efficient layout and good craftsmanship on piping system. Tanner, Brennan and company communicated well and were very courteous.Additionally Cody made subsequent visit following up with some control mixups on our heating zones we noticed over New Year holiday. His response was prompt and corrected controls. He also provided excellent answers to questions I had about the new high efficiency boiler (new for us).

Our old water heater went out so we called Black-Haak since we had a great experience with a furnace tune-up earlier this year.The technician, Kurt Kempen, was so nice and talked me through options. We said we were thinking about a gas tankless water heater with a relocation so it’s not in the middle of the room but not opposed to just replacing with a new 50 gallon one. He didn’t push us to a decision and just gave us all the information we needed to make the right choice for our house. We chose the tankless with a relocation.Skip forward to install and the plumbers, Kirk Knight and another guy (I’m so sorry we are horrible with names and his name wasn’t included in the text), showed up on time and were awesome! Very friendly, professional and did a great job explaining what they did and everything we needed to know about the tankless water heater.A whole team of people came a couple hours in to check in and make sure everything was going smoothly. The electrician, Shaun White, was also very nice and professional. He put in the outlet, explained what he did and went on his way.All around great experience again with no issues. Everything looks and works great! Financing option was a plus since this came out of nowhere. We will definitely call again for a new furnace when the time comes!

Amazing customer service! The woman who helped me set up my appointment was very friendly and helpful. On the day of the appointment, I received an email stating that the technician was on his way, along with a photo and a little information about him. The technician, William, was on time, very friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to show me pictures of the interior of our furnace and explained the meaning behind the numbers gathered during the cleaning and tune-up. He was also very patient with my questions. This is the first time we’ve used Black-Haak and with the great experience we had today, will use them from now on! Highly recommend!Sherry Morton

Andy Mauthe, Cole, Brian, Hector & Rodger delivered, installed and commissioned our Generac 18kW whole home generator system Sept. 12-13; they did a professional, clean install, all very courteous, able to answer numerous questions as the installation progressed. They finished on the 13, all very neat and caring in their approach. Andy also did a great job helping us with the mobile app. setup and explained the system thoroughly. Highly recommended!

I received good care from this company. Our furnace was leaking water on Thursday. Phoenix came out same day and assessed it was a bad collector box. He was informative and gave options. Did mention it was an 18 year old furnace and could be time for a new one, if more goes wrong. I talked to Derrick, in sales, on options. We decided to go the repair collector box route, but on a part like that we had to wait till it got delivered. Which could be anywhere from a few days to a week. I do wish the delivery of part portion was a little quicker and precise, especially if someone is really in need of heat. Since we were strapped for time, we changed our minds and ended up going the new installation route, since that could be put in next day. Derrick in sales gave great info and verified with us the plan. The installers Jamison and Eli were professional got right to work. They were informative and showed me the thermostat options when finished.

What can I say about Black Haak Heating? They are the best, let me tell you why. Came home from vacation Wednesday and turned on the furnace but it would not work. Called Black-Haak at 8:00 Thursday and talked to a wonderful woman, she had John here at 9:00 ( made a whoa sound when he saw our dinosaur furnace) made me chuckle, and at 11:00 Devin was here installing our new furnace and they were out the door by 2:00. Couldnt recommend anyone better they are a FANTASTIC TEAM. Way to go guys.

Eric’s experience as an electrician and home generator installer was invaluable to me as I explored a home generator purchase. He was able to analyze my electrical setup, explain how each generator works, their pros & cons, without personal bias or pressure to buy. Black-Haak is fortunate to have highly professional & personable employees such as Eric.As a follow-up, I had asked Eric if he would stop by during the installation to make sure installers were on the same page with the plan. Since my installation date was two-and-half months later, I wasn’t sure whether Eric would show up. He did! and made sure everyone understood the plan. The replacing of our furnace and air conditioner went very well. Clean up and hauled away all anold equipment. Very friendly young man. We got three companies over for an estimate. Black Haak was quick and reliable with getting back to us. It’s been 3 weeks and our furnace is in and we have don’t heard back from either of the other two companies. They had four people here to get the job done.

The tech that troubleshot the furnace was fast, friendly and honest. They said theyd have someone here today by 8am. The techs were knocking on my door at 8am. The two techs, Devin and Eli, were professional, friendly, clean and extremely efficient. In less than 2.5 hours the old furnace was gone and the new one running! Johnny has come over twice now to work on our AC because our freon appears to be leaking (once to check our freon levels and add some dye and the 2nd to come back to see if there was a leak). He is very knowledgeable and has been great at explaining whats going on. We didnt find this elusive leak in my AC unit but he checked everything over multiple times to ensure all was working like its supposed to. Once he made sure the AC was in good working condition, he came up with a plan to follow up next year to see if anything shows up. Overall it has been a great experience and he has been very thorough.

Once he figured out the unit was complete toast, he made sure the service manager (Dan) called me within the hour to give me an estimate (which was considerably cheaper than I was expecting!) Black-Haak did a great job and worked hard to complete my request. They spent 2 full days in the attic of my house in sweltering heat so they could get my A/C up and running. It was great to see true craftsman at work who cared not only about what I could see but also what I couldn’t see. I will definitely call them again for work I need done.

Morgan Baerwald, Dan Fox, Devin Priebe, Cole Shultz, and the rest of the team did an amazing job at Black-Haak. My furnace and AC needed replacement and I couldn’t be happier with the new units. The whole team was very punctual, kind, professional, and efficient to say the least. They’re options on helping with the financial side of things is a huge help as well. Highly recommend them to anyone, and would go with them again!

I requested to upgrade my homes electrical from 100amp to 200amp service. I got a few quotes, Black-Haak was almost HALF the cost of local competitors...for the same task. They worked with WPS, and scheduled the required inspections. Andy and Cole showed up promptly at 8 am the day of install and got straight to work; an inspector came through and approved shortly after noon, and by 2 pm service was restored (had to wait a bit for WPS to come back out and complete their portion of the upgrade--otherwise this would have been much earlier). Thanks to Black-Haak my house is now up to code, whole home surge protected, and now has proper grounding. I cannot thank the team enough for going above and beyond to ensure my homes safety.

Kody was fantastic! He actually saved us $4,000 dollars. They originally diagnosed we needed 3 air conditioner pieces replaced and when he came he reviewed before installing and one was just missing a spring! By him not assuming and looking everything over before performing the work he saved us a lot of money. Builds trust with companies that have great employees like that. Thank you!

Thank you Black Haak for your quick response for our air conditioner! Nathan did a tremendous job of walking through the issue and answering our questions! When it came apparent we should replace it due to age, Black Haak had us up and running with a new air conditioner and furnace in only 2 days. All the service personnel and office staff have been wonderful to work with.
