Our experience with Lion Home Service was absolutely superb. We woke up to septic tank problems bright and early Saturday morning. We called them early and they answered the phone so we didnt even have to leave a message for a call back. The customer service agent was professional ,kind and sympathetic and was able to get someone out to service our tank within a few hours. Josh, the Technician that came out was fantastic. He did a great job communicating when he was on his way and when he would arrive. He was professional and also very kind. He did not try to upsell the service yet provided what we needed and recommended a time frame in which we should have it checked next time to prevent another event like today. We felt the fee for service was more than reasonable. We highly recommend them.

Lion Home Service is wonderful! Our technician was amazing. He knows his stuff. He brought us furnace filters and when checking out the furnace he blew a fuse. He fixed it and made sure it turned back on and was running before he left. Always on time when we make our appointments also!!

We’ve had a slow kitchen drain that has been a problem for years. After thinking we needed pressure jetting done, and after three failed efforts from other plumbing companies who either couldn’t do the job, visited and didn’t show up for follow up work, or simply failed to come for the initial inspection, Lion Home Services was a breath of fresh air. Honest assessment (snake the line instead of more experienced dive pressure jetting), on time appointment, and competent work. I would highly recommend.

Woke up to our 1st snow fall for the winter and we had no heat! My elderly parents live with me! I called another heating company 1st and they couldn’t come to my house until Monday afternoon (today is Saturday). I scheduled an online appointment with Lion Home Service and Josh was at my house within a couple hours and had my heat up and running within 45 minutes of his arrival. He was very informative and efficient! I highly recommend Lion Home Service!

This is an update from yesterdays review. When running our dishwasher we would have a leak under the sink. Scott came over yesterday and snaked the drain to the main line. Last night while running the dishwasher it leaked again. Lion guaranteed the work they did yesterday and Scott came back this morning. He was here for a couple of hours, and was successful in clearing out the blockage. Im so thankful for his hard work and perseverance in helping us! We will definitely use Lion Home Service again in the future!

Woke up to a completely clogged shower drain. I was able to make an appointment, online, before they opened. Text messages to confirm time and location of technician, made the process seemless!! Scott was quick, efficient and very knowledgeable! This was our first time using Lion Home Service but we will absolutely use them again!! We wholeheartedly recommend them!!

(See update at the end of the post) My experience with Lions started great, but ended poorly. I had a backed up drain with a broken main line going out to the city connection. Originally, I was visited by Ramon and Gabe. Their service and support was excellent. They came evaluated and found the cause to my back up. They answered my questions; presented my options; and helped get our drain semi-usable until we could have part of our main line replaced. They were both kind and respectful to myself and our home. Just based on their work, I would have given 5 stars, and they are the reason Im even keeping this at 3 stars. Unfortunately, when the team came to repair my main line, I was disappointed with the service. The crew seemed very rushed the entire time at my home making more then one comment about the wanting to get home. The first problem was they broke the main water line running into my house. They stated they could repair it, and as far as I know, they did. However, its 8 feet down, so I might not know about any problems or the quality of the repair. The next issue was the installation of the drain clean out. I had one clean out already at my home. This was broken apart during the dig and needed to be reinstalled. Also, they installed a second clean out. My original clean out was tucked up near my home in a flower bed. One of the new clean outs is still in the flower bed, but is about 15 out into it. This was ok, but the second was installed out into my lawn. I was frustrated by that. When I asked why these were placed so far out, I was told they couldnt go nearer to the home because of the space needed to repair the water line they broke. They offered to keep the cap low enough, and to cover it so it would have less impact. I agreed just because at this point, I was ready for them to leave. I really wanted them to undo their work and reinstall it closer to my home but I just wanted to move on. My recommendation to the company is to ask the home owners about placement prior to doing the work. The third and fourth issues came up during clean up. They had to reinstall a sprinkler line. I had dug this up and exposed it over the weekend. It was buried about 15 deep. When they were reinstalling it, they filled so much dirt into the ground that the line ran up and back down to the connecting sprinkler. Had I not stopped them and asked them to dig it out deeper, my sprinkler line would have been closer to 6 below the surface at the top of the rise. After they left, I still dug it out more to get it right. Again, I was just ready for them to go. Finally, they were leaving the trash of the broken pipe in the dirt as they filled up the hole. I dont really care about the dirt 6 down, but as they were pushing the last of the dirt into my flower bed, I watched an individual cover up a 10-12 section of broken pipe with dirt like he was trying to hide it. He then started to push it into the bed. I stopped him and asked him to remove it. I asked the rest of the crew to remove the other pieces they were just shoveling into the flower bed. This trash would have been left in the top 6 of my flower bed. This second crew was the total opposite of Ramon and Gabe. I felt that quality work and respect to my home was not even a concern. It seemed that the faster they could get the job done was all that mattered. It was all of this low quality work and poor attention to detail which made me go from recommending Lions to not recommending them. The most important part of this experience was the repair. This has me questioning the quality of that repair to my main line.UPDATE: Lions came to my home and inspected the work. They camreaed the drain to make sure the work was done correctly. Along with that, they addressed the issues with those involved. Seeing that this company has many positive reviews. My issue is likely isolated and not what their normal performance. I appreciated their immediate response to my concerns and work to assure that my repairs were completed correctly. I am rating to 4 stars.

My experience with Lion Home Services was exceptional from beginning to end. They responded quickly to my request for help, and were able to come the same week to troubleshoot my issue. The technician, Tyler, was prompt, professional, and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He explained to me what was going on with my system and how to maintain it. Matt came out the same day, explained the options we had and was able to get the work done that same evening. After 2 interactions with Lion Home Service Im twice as satisfied.Update 3/25/24This year I have had 3 more reasons to call LHS and have been tremendously satisfied. Matt has come on 2 different plumbing calls and is always professional and does great work.DJ came out for our Winter Inspection and made sure our furnace and water heater are working correctly, advised on potential future problems, and communicated all of the information clearly. Matthew arrived well within the quoted time frame, he was looking at our hot water heater, that isnt heating. He slipped on shoe covers, researched our heater, called Lions Master Plumber, after more research (because our heater is so old) provided us with 3 quotes and gave me with his contact information. It was a real pleasure meeting with Matthew...we are sold with Lion! Earlier this year they installed an HVAC and we are sooo happy with the unit and their service....great company to work with!
