Highly recommend! Our toilet was leaking into our basement and being in Riverview I was worried it may be our sewer backing up due to tree roots. Doug took the time to thoroughly check all avenues and determine if the issue was the sewer or the toilet itself. I love that all options and prices are laid out before hand, so there is not a sticker shock at the end. Very reasonably priced, especially for the level of care and knowledge brought to the issue. We have used them once before for our furnace and the exact same level of care and knowledge was given by that employee as well. Thank you again!

When I say that this is the place for all your plumbing needs, I mean it. They quickly identified my issues and were able to come behind other technicians at other companies here in Great Falls that couldn’t fix the job. Ultimately they had to swap the entire water heater and they did it incredibly fast before the holidays and it runs so much smoother. My experience was fantastic, truly. There was water pouring into our crawlspace when we called Kindred the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Not only did they immediately pick up the phone late on a Saturday evening, they arrived an hour away in Augusta exactly when they said they would.Kole was incredible. Very nice guy with a lot of knowledge who made us feel like he had everything under control. He even wore shoe covers without being asked. He had to replace a valve and re-run several things, but even though it ended up being more complicated than he originally thought, he had us up and running in just a couple hours for less than I thought it would be.I sincerely hope they read this review and give Kole a raise because he really saved us this weekend. Our central air went out and Kindred answered for the emergency service. They were professional from beginning to end and replaced our entire AC system. The price was very reasonable and the 12 year warranty that comes with it is unmatched! Our technician was Ace and he was absolutely awesome. He was extremely thorough on explaining what he was doing the whole time and he worked extremely hard to make sure we were cool for the upcoming heat. I cant speak highly enough of this business and recommend them to anyone in town!

Our A/C suddenly stopped working on a Sunday in July with the temps in the 90s for the following week. We called Kindred and Donato, the technician that came out was great! He was very upfront with the costs and explained each different step that he took. He was able to fix our A/C unit quickly and it now runs better than it did before.

The bitter cold here took its toll and for some odd reason, my furnace quit working. Kindred was the ONLY place that I could get to come right out and get us up and running again. Thank you for installing our boiler/water heater last summer Jeremy and Team. When winter hit and we had a valve leak in one of out old registers, Kindred (Justin) came right out and fixed it. On top of that a Kindred team memeber noticed that they could make the boiler more efficient and will be working on moving pipes. I am so impressed and so happy with the service they bring. New review 7/15/2024: Kindred showed their high quality and responsiveness for a failing water heater. Called and left message at 0800 Monday morning about leaking water heater. Valerie called me back within minutes and said someone would be out asap. Got message Kevin would be here shortly. He checked things out and determined replacement was necessary. I asked when he would be back expecting in a couple of days. He said he would be back in less than an hour and complete it Monday. As he was checking the new water heater, he noticed no up draft. Further investigation revealed the flue around heater and water heater was falling apart. That was quickly replaced and now we can sleep soundly knowing we shouldnt stop breathing thanks to carbon monoxide! Thanks Kevin and Bob!We had a drastic plumbing failure. I called Kindred on Monday morning and they said they would have someone out that afternoon. Jeremy showed up at around 2:30. He completed repairing the failure and looked at a couple other issues. I plan on using Kindred whenever I need a plumber.

They were very responsive even with their busy schedule like most other professionals in this day and age. Cole came in and diagnosed my furnace and ordered the parts needed. When the new part came in they were quick to schedule and Cole and John came out as there was difficulty with the furnace turns out the new valve was bad and there was a wiring issue. Very professional and helpful with letting me use some of their heaters in the mean time as it had gotten cold in between. Very thankful for these guys and appreciate all their kindness and professionalism.

We had some issues with our 17+ year old Rinnai On-demand hot water heater. Called numerous plumbing contractors and most were either too busy, didn’t work on these type heaters or for whatever reason never returned our call. This was our first encounter with Kindred and they have performed magnificently. We expected a long wait but were pleasantly surprised when an appointment was made available within a couple of days. Jeremy and an associate came out well within the timeframe we expected on the specified date. In fact, we received a call from their office approximately 15 minutes prior to their arrival informing us they were on their way. Apparently, this is standard practice with this business and was much appreciated. Upon arrival, first thing they did was to put cloth booties over their shoes prior to entering our home and once again, we thought it a nice touch. After conducting a thorough check of the unit and explaining the problems and possible solutions, Jeremy sent us two quotes later that day, one for repair and one for replacement. Due to the age of our unit and my own personal neglect of not servicing the heater as required over the years, we opted to replace it. We set up an appointment for the work and as before Jeremy arrived precisely on time, slipped on his shoe coverings and got right to work. We should also mention he placed floor coverings down the stairway to the basement and into the laundry room where the heater is located. We were very impressed with Jeremy’s work ethic, professionalism and willingness to explain exactly what he was doing. Moreover, he completed the work ahead of schedule and advised us that a two- year service commitment for our heater was included and they would automatically schedule the first visit for next year. We have to say the customer service, professionalism and respect for our property by Jeremy and this company in general, exceeded our expectations and was absolutely outstanding in every aspect! Your service, both times has been outstanding. First call was for our tankless water heater which was a fast same day replacement. Second call was for a sump pump that had gone bad. They had a cancellation and got me taken care of!

In addition, they brought out heaters over the weekend while I was waiting for the install of the new furnace. They were very timely in getting my house warm again. Their response time was amazing. The two young gentlemen who installed my furnace were well trained, friendly and proved very informative once the furnace was installed. They even added an additional vent downstairs in order to keep the basement at a more efficient and effective temperature. They worked quickly and were very conscious about the interior of my house as they worked. The furnace was top of the line and economical as well. The control module is easy to understand and operate once the technicians explained all of the features. I am excited about being able to control my temperature remotely. As an out of state landlord it can be difficult to find quality vendors when the need arises. I called endless amounts of HVAC companies and was willing to pay whatever fee necessary to get someone out quickly since my tenants were without AC. I had 2 companies come out and try to get me to sign an estimate to replace the unit before mentioning they were booked out 2 months. I was losing hope until I finally called Kindred! I explained the situation and they had a tech out for a quote and then replaced the unit the very next day as a heat wave hit. They didn’t try to take advantage of my desperation either as I had 2 other quotes to compare it to. They were more affordable and used better quality equipment! I’m now a happy landlord with very happy and cool tenants. Will definitely be using Kindred for any future plumbing/HVAC needs!

Pipes bursting at 3 am are so fun.. sometimes you need a good hard reset. Nothing like making a call to a plumber only to be told they are totally booked and pound sand. Not Kindred. They had my pipes fixed up and running in no time. Can’t say the water restoration company is in a hurry though and mold isn’t covered by your insurance y’all. So if you’re looking for a good business investment I’d say water remediation is a GREAT investment. Keep hammering guys. You guys are great!! Ty

So grateful for Kindred’s professional support during my weekend “mini crisis “. First of all, much to my surprise, the phone was answered by a live person on a Saturday! -Huge relief for a grandma in the middle of winter, who’s heater went out right before the grandsons arriving for a weekend stay.Bob, was genuinely polite and reassuring when he answered my call. He let me know he was on a job, but would be able to arrive in about two hours. While waiting, all kinds of scenarios of huge fees, hours of repair, or totally needing to replacing my older furnace ran through my head. When Bob arrived -he did a little trouble shooting, then explained what thought could be the problem to my husband. In about two minutes, I heard the warm air blowing through vents. Thank you for your quick response on a Saturday, your knowledge and professional customer service! Will definitely recommend! Happy Grandma.

I am late reviewing Kindred Plumbing and Heating. In Feb and March of 2020 I had the pleasure of dealing with Val in the office, and John, a Master Plumber. I live in Helena but chose John at Kindred in Great Falls because he knows his stuff. We have two Rinnai Continuous Tankless water heaters in our house, and a local plumber told us we needed to replace one of them. I was suspicious of their knowledge of the product. Thank God I looked online at the Rinnai website to search for a Plumber in Helena trained in Rinnai products...found NO ONE in Helena, but Kindred Plumbing in Great Falls. I called and Val was very helpful and she told me they do work in Helena. When John arrived he was thorough, knowledgeable and quick! He fixed the Rinnai that we were told needed to be replaced in 20 mins. The prior Helena Plumber had put the fan back on incorrectly; that was the entire problem. I was told by the Helena Company that I would have to replace that Rinnai; and the ballpark was nearly $2000 for the plumber; and I would have to hire a contractor to cut in to the wall because the venting system would also have to be replaced. This would have included holes in the ceiling and outside, as well. The contractor who did our stucco on the house would also have to come to repair once the new Rinnai was in place. Really? During his initial visit, I asked John if he is familiar with Weil McLain Boilers and received a resounding YES. John wrote a bid to install a flushing mechanism on the second Rinnai, and to clean, service and adjust the Boiler and scheduled me for another visit. He had to dismantle the boiler to clean, and also installed a new Igniter. He told me how often both the Rinnais and the Boiler should be serviced. And offered to add me to their recall reminders. The charge for travel from Great Falls to Helena was minimal, as they try to schedule non essential repairs when they have other jobs in Helena. I cannot recommend the Company or John Kindred enough. Customer for life!
