I had to schedule my appointment about a month and a half to 2 months in advance. Alex was polite and did mention a $300 fee for the leak inspection on the phone. When he came over he turned on the water for the floatation device which was off after previous work had been done. Thus the culprit for lack of water and me having to fill with a hose was found. Apparently not the water loss I had feared. He turned on/off the pop up system. He gave me a few tips about what to buy for cleaning the pool and that was about it. I plead ignorance on the floatation water valve. I am not a pool equipment/plumbing expert by any means, although I am pretty capable of keeping it clean and chemically balanced. He said there was nothing else to check for as far as leaks which surprised me and charged the full $300. It seemed like a pricey maybe 10 minute visit max, to me, hence my 3.5 stars if it were available, but I wasnt going to haggle. A pricey bit of ignorance on my part, lesson learned. You can use your own judgment on the value. I get he is a professional and needs to be paid for his work, being a small business owner myself, but I personally found it a bit much for the amount of return and time it took to get him out here. My rating reflects the value of the visit.

Leak hunter is the best. Dont use another company I did and they didnt know what they were doing and never found the leak. Leak hunter put an x on the spot and then I had my handyman dig down and find the leak a few feet under ground right under where the X was marked. It was a leak right in the corner of the pvc piping so he cut around the pvc and replaced with new. They are amazing and knowledgable.

It’s been quite apparent for a while that we have a pool leak going on somewhere and for sometime. We were way beyond the bucket test as we were having to add water nearly daily to our pool, even throughout the winter, our hose was in the pool! I think both my husband and I were very afraid of the unknown, but knew that we had to find out where our pool leak was and deal with it head-on. We’ve actually been putting off having new cool decking done, just because we imagined so many “worst case scenario’s”, where we would have to have our deck cut to do a repair, once our leak was discovered. Obviously, trying to figure out where a pool leak is can be quite intimidating for any homeowner. Well, we started to do some research and the more research that we did, the more we were convinced, “this must be something really bad”!!! I then started researching Pool Leak Detection Companies and I am pretty big on reviews, and after reading the many positive reviews of others, we decided to call Alex with Leak Hunters. My only regret is not calling him much sooner!!!! Alex and his company are absolutely awesome!!! He came early this morning, so professionally equipped and found the leak soon after he started. All of this time we watched and waited because of the fear of the unknown, and it turns out our fix is going to be rather simple!!! I am certain some people do not receive good news like we did, but regardless, we would have had to deal with it… I now have the repair scheduled, and I can proceed with my Cool Deck within the next few weeks as well!!! We called Leak Hunters on Monday, and made an appointment for Tuesday morning. Alex arrived promptly, in fact he called to ask if he could come earlier and we were more than happy to say yes.When he arrived, Alex took the time to look over the area in question (we had a leak in our sprinkler system that I could not locate after more than a week of digging and pumping out water). He checked the water meter, verified we did have an active leak, then used a couple different tools as well as his own experience, and located the source of the leak. He was worth every penny of the service fee, and I would use him again if we have similar issues, and save myself a sore back and days of frustration!

We had a leak in our pool that we were not able to find on our own. After some research I found Leak Hunters online and the reviews were great. Alex was very nice on the phone and was able to schedule a time to take a look within a couple of days. However, due to prior companies that had worked on other plumbing issues in our house charging us a ridiculous amount of money to fix the problems, I was really nervous about it and expected the worst. Alex and Spencer arrived at the earliest time quoted and really lived up to their amazing reviews. Alex was very up front with what he was doing and how much everything would cost down to the time it would take to repair the leaks. They were both very professional, up front and put my mind at ease. They did not leave me with thousands of dollars out of pocket. The price was reasonable and they even cleaned up when they were finished so it looked like they were never there. After our pool was completely remodeled, it began leaking around 300 gallons a day. After many attempts our pool contractor was unable to diagnose the problem. We found Leak Hunters on the internet. Alex and his team came by with their highly specialized equipment and discovered the cause of the leak behind the pool light. He recommended an excellent contractor to fix the problem and then returned at no charge for a follow-up test. They are extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with.

Wow..Where to Start? I dont typically leave reviews, but Alex really came through and definitely earned this one. We had a mysterious leak in our pool that was loosing water daily whether the pool system was running or off. He came out to my home got into the FREEZING water (Yes in the Winter) to test the in-ground cleaning system and was able to determine what the issue was. Once the problem was identified, Alex referred me to a contractor to assist with the final repair. Alex the owner who came to my house explained exactly what he was doing and showed me exactly where my pool was leaking, even brought an extra pair of goggles so that we both were able to get the pool to show me how the test worked. Sure enough the dye was being sucked straight into the crack. Alex quoted me one price over the phone, and once he was finished at my house lowered the price; very honest. I was so worried my leak could not be found. My pool is massive and I have this amazing spa that flows into it from high above. I called Alex and he gave me set prices for each thing: pool, spa, equipment - he didnt ask me my zip code, or how big my pool was (to charge me more - like the other place did). No willy nilly numbers, he gave me firm, reasonable numbers (Im scottish so I appreciate that a lot) His prices were also about half what the leak company my pool-man company told me to use- and they required this huge process of basically an interview, an email - that never came- and signing a document, and then that other outfit was like 4 weeks out.)So when I found Leak Hunters it was a no brainer. Alex was professional, could fit me in within 1 week, on-time, capable, personable, and most important, he found the leak and recommended two outfits to repair the leak. He also let me pay with chase quickpay - which I love. The spa was still leaking a little after the repair guys, and Alex came back out to re-test for leaks, at no additional fee (he has a 30 day warranty!) Low and behold, the leak was not all the way sealed, and he showed me where the die got sucked into the leak. Gotta have the repair guys back out. But 100% to Alex at Leak Hunters for detecting pool and spa leaks!!!

Leak Hunters was fantastic. The guy that owns the company was able to fit us in rather quickly after receiving a HUGE water bill that suggested we may have a leak somewhere. He was extremely personable and professional and was able to identify the exact location of the leak very quickly. He explained things to me at my request while he was working so I could become a better educated home owner. He also explained how our timer settings worked on our sprinkler system (where the leak was identified), helped me change them, and educated me on the various plants in our yard that would likely be the biggest issues for root damage to pipes. He definitely went above and beyond and we will most certainly use this company any time we have a leak.

We were told by SRP we probably had a leak causing our water bill to increase. I looked all over but could not locate it. Leak hunters was actually recommended by a competitor who said these guys are the best for residential leak location. They set an appointment and they were on time. They were prepared when they arrived and they were courteous, clean and got right to work.They found several places we had minor leaks and all of them together created a substantial water loss. Most of the leaks were in outside faucets and irrigation systems around the house.They use electronic location equipment so they do not do any invasive work on the house. The equipment is very sensitive and can locate small leaks you would not be normally aware of.I was very happy they did not say I had an underground leak inside the house which was what I was expecting.I would recommend them, I would use them again, and I would refer them to friends.

Alex and his son came out to find a leak in what we thought was our pool. We were filling up our pool more often than we should have. He took his time (which I appreciated) and ran a variety of tests. Said the leak was not in our pool but determined that it was more than likely the slide/fountain structure due to the cracks and calcium buildup in the back. He told me to run another bucket test with everything off. He also suggested contacting a pool company to have it resealed. Alex is AMAZING!! I called him on a Friday, explained to him what was going on and he had me scheduled as early as that following Monday. Woo Hoo... he found the leak!! Next step was to have someone out to repair it. Repair company came out the following day, claimed that the leak is not where Alex said it was. Made a quick call to Alex and he was at my house within 30 minutes! Again, found the leak! IN THE SAME SPOT. If my repair guy would have moved down just a few inches he would have saved everyone the hassle. JUST A FEW INCHES!! If you have a leak or suspect a leak... use NO ONE ELSE!! Ive used Alex now twice, once for a pool leak and once for an irrigation leak. Nailed the pool leak first time and found an irrigation leak but had to come back for a secondary irrigation leak at no cost! Great service, reliable, professional and very customer centric. I wasted my time/money going to an irrigation valve guy first, should have started with Alex. Give him a call, hell fix your leak and save you money.

Alex was beyond professional and very competitive in his price. his price was lower than the competitors pricing from my calling. I was told by the other companies that it would be weeks before they would come out. My pool was losing 3 inches every 12 hours and with a 30,000 gallon pool that was a lot of water to continue losing. Alex fir me into his schedule and arrived the same day. He tested my entire system he used pressure tests for my equipment and also dye test for other components it looked to me that he had all the current tech to find my leak, he finally tracked down my leak. he said that he didnt do the repairs just finds the leak my repair was pretty simple and he fixed it for me with no additional charge.I was concerned that maybe the leak wasnt what he said but he assured me he had a 30 day warranty and if that didnt fix my problem he would come back. This morning he reached out to me to see if my problem had been fixed. I didnt lose any water last night so I decided to write this review for anyone who may have the same problem. I would recommend Alex and his Company Leak Hunters to anyone in the phoenix area!!

Due to the rise of my water bill, I decided to have our pool & spa check for leaks. My first phone call was made to Leak Hunters (leak detection services only). I was so blown away by Alex with his customer service, expertise, plus reading all the reviews of his services, that I looked no further. I was prepared for the cost of the leak detection services for both the pool & spa. Once Alex located the leak in the pool, he showed interest of saving me money, by not inspecting the spa (extra cost) until it was needed. Alex marked his spot for the leak, and visually showed me what he found. I have had the leak repaired, added water to the pool. I am happy to report, Alex’s team got it right!

I am so glad I made that decision. Alex, the owner and technician, is amazing. Very Professional, Honest, and Responsive. His customer service is above and beyond what is expected. He worked hard to find a difficult leak and was determined to find the problem. There was no nickel and diming through the process. He wouldnt accept payment until he was sure of the issue. He even came out a month after he had finished the job he was hired for, to help me replace a part I was having difficulty with. He came to help without the expectation of payment, hes just a great guy. Would not use anyone else. And will recommend to others. We were very pleased with Leak Hunters. Alex is very knowledgable, and did a quick, but very thorough job at detecting the problems with our pool. He answered all of our questions, and showed us what he was finding, so we could see for ourselves and understand the issues. We had Alex come out today to fix a leak in our sprinkler system. He gave us a quick estimate and went to work. After digging to find the issue, he found that it wasnt what he originally thought.
