Having an older home presents many problems an electrician must confront...an older major panel that needs enlarging, out of date wiring and wiring patterns that dont meet code, ungrounded electrical sockets and hard-to-reach spaces. My house from the mid-50s had all these issues and Arrow Electric handled them with ease and complete command. Hunter and his crew could not have done a better job. Our power went out on the hottest day of the summer and Arrow was extremely quick to help us out. They were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They fixed our unit and helped coordinate with the city to get our power turned back on on a Friday evening. They then followed up that night to make sure we able to get everything squared away with the city. We have a tiny baby and temps were close 110 so I am so thankful Arrow was able to help us same day and fast! They were great!

Michael was our technician and he was absolutely wonderful! The service was affordable, very professional, and timely! Michael offered very helpful suggestions and answered all my questions. He even entertained my 5 year old boy by letting him watch and hold his tools. My boy was in heaven! Michael also let me use a little bit of his own liquid nails and zip ties for a different project I was working on. He wall-mounted a TV and installed a power outlet to hide the cords. He even hid the Apple TV box behind the TV. He also hung up an LED sign and hid the cord in the wall. And I had another power outlet installed close to the ceiling in a hallway. All of the work was top notch and he was such a kind and helpful person. It’s not every day that you meet someone who loves what they do and loves people, too. Thank you Michael! I’ll be requesting him again in the future if I need anything!

Carter Burns is the electrician that came out to install a transfer switch for my generator. After completing the work, he asked me had I considered a surge protector for my panel. I said I had and thanks for reminding me. After asking the cost which was similar to what I had been quoted by another vendor years prior, he was able to complete that work as well same day. Very professional and quick!

We moved into our home about 3 months ago and our inspector that we had retained had warned us about the electrical system in our house. He was RIGHT!! VERY BIZARRE. My wife would use her hairdryer in one bathroom and throw the circuit breaker in the opposite end of the house!!!First, this electrical repairs are NOT an inexpensive job. I knew going into the work that we were talking thousands and not hundreds of dollars. Second, I feel that piece of mind is worth some sum of money (not sure how much, but worth it). So there we are.When Brandon initially came out , he could see that our home that did not meet Code and he told us this. This was basically the same items that our home inspector had told us. He gave us a price and we discussed each item and took things out and put things in to the repair estimate (like the surge protector). We agreed on a price.We got a call the day before the repairs AND on the day of the work. The team worked solid for over 5 hours. Brandon and Hunter showed me the surge protector. It was an Eaton system, and from what I know about Eaton is that you might pay slightly more for their parts but they are a quality manufacturer who stands behind their products. The same was true for the panel box manufacturer.We also had a bit of miscommunication which I will say was my fault as much as anyone elses. I said that I wanted an outlet to charge my ELECTRIC CAR like a 220 charger that you can hang on the garage wall, and I think that Brandon heard that I wanted a charger for my TESLA CAR. (electric car vs. Tesla car). So he DID give us an estimate for the dedicated line, but neither my wife or I caught that it said Tesla on the plug. So as he was installing the 220 line, he said theres your Tesla plug and I said No, thats not what we wanted. Literally it was a change order but I blame miscommunications. Not being familiar with electrical repairs, all that we knew was that we wanted an outlet that would furnish us power to charge our Nissan LEAF. Brandon heard something different. Regardless, he did install a dedicated 110 outlet that is literally RIGHT NEXT TO WHERE WE PARK OUR LEAF!! This is exactly what we wanted. So at the end of the day, how would other electricians have handled the same situation?? I was VERY happy with my panel box; my 110 outlet; and the fact that they cleaned up after their work.The TEST of the work by Arrow Electric was yet to come. Mark Thatcher (owner of Arrow Electric) came out to our homes on the morning of the City inspection. We both had been given a window of 2 hours by the City, and Mark wanted to be sure that someone was there to answer questions. He was VERY nice and we BOTH enjoyed a late morning coffee as we waited for the inspector. When the inspector showed up, it was VERY obvious that Mark and him had lots of work with each other. (THAT is a good sign.....I want someone who has had their work reviewed by the City and whom the City has some respect) The work passed and we had our green tag. Our homes electrical system is NOW safe.The take away from this experience has been very positive for me. First, you can go to less expensive repairment or people who will suggest that they can save you money (for example, no City Inspection), or you can go with a quality company. You will hear things like our company guarantees this work or our company guarantees the fusebox, but you later discover that their company is only 5 years old! Where is your repair company when you need their warranty 15 years from now??!! We have had 2 roofs put on our home by companies that no longer are around - - but they were guaranteed!!! Arrow Electric has been around for a good number of years AND I could verify that they use only quality parts.I recommend Arrow Electric for your work. Hunter and Brandon make a good team and I would ask for them again. You do NOT want to take a chance on a low bid electrical job in your home, and you want only quality parts to be used. Arrow does both and more. Ask for the team of Hunter and Brandon!

Choosing Arrow Electric was the best choice. We did lots of searching for a reputable electrical contractor to complete some important work. It didnt take but a moment to realize we were on the right path. I first had Kalan come out last week to figure out why my pool light and the outlet near my pool were not working. After inspection he found that I had a ground wire from my pool to the house that was cut. Hearing all that was involved for the repair I was worried this was gonna cost me big time, but was pleasantly surprised at their more than reasonable pricing.Within a couple of days Kalan came back out with Matthew, dug out the old wire and replaced everything. I couldn’t be happier or feel safer. Kalan and Matthew were great to work with and they’ll definitely be my go to guys should anything else come up. Barry was on time (actually early which was great for me!), very professional, very knowledgeable, courteous and explained everything to me about what he was doing, looking for, and what he found when he fixed the problem. He was quick but that does not mean hurried. He didnt waste any time but was very thorough. After he resolved my issue and installed a new breaker for my A/C, he checked over the main circuit electrical panel for any issues and tightened some loose connections. Taylor, the electrician sent out to run a new circuit for a ceiling fan did a fantastic job. He came in assess the situation gave me a couple options on ways we could do it and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. In addition he was extremely conscious about keeping debris and dust off of our furniture and carpet which was appreciated. Only downside was the company does not deduct the amount of the service charge to the total bill like some of the other companies do... All in all 5 stars.

We quickly looked up Arrow Electric from Best Picks Report for North Dallas. Sherry (sp) was so attentive and immediately called the Service manager to see if he could come by for a diagnosis. Joe called and let me know he had one of his technicians finishing up a job and they would be over within the hour. Jaime and his associate quickly found the issue and replaced the faulty switch. We would highly recommend this company to anyone needing quick and efficient service.

Ok, round two! But this one is a good one! The GM, Rodney, got involved and called us to see if we would let him make it right. He personally came to our house, oversaw the installation and decided that he wanted to take care of the situation free of charge. He truly felt bad and wanted to make things right in order to repair the situation. And he did. The technicians that he brought with him were very courteous and knowledgeable. Our experience with Arrow Electric was excellent. We had a service call to fix a bad GFI. The technician was very helpful and did the job we requested. The refreshing thing about this service call is that the technician did not try to up-sell us a bunch of things we dont need but instead was extremely efficient and friendly. He simply did the job we requested and only informed us of some other things we needed to watch for. My last several service calls from other electric service companies have been very disappointing as we (at least by one) were almost hounded to install a light I didnt need as well as other electrical items (Im sure most know which electric company I am talking about). Because of this we joined the Arrow Home Maintenance Plan to avoid trip charges, etc., in the future. Our technicians name was Sarge and he was great.
