I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Levco. Joe was responsive and helpful to begin the process of designing our new addition. He helped connect me with a fantastic architect and we were off to the races. He was also present every step of the way.John was our project manager for the vast majority of the project. He was phenomenal as well as incredibly friendly. Not only did he hold the subcontractors accountable, but he took care of issues that arose almost as though he was taking care of his own home. He also did a great job of anticipating problems before they presented themselves and helped us identify and implement solutions quickly to keep the project on track. Phil, Cindy, and the rest of the team were fantastic as well. I would hire them again in a heart beat and have recommended them to several others considering a remodel in the area.

Nothing but accolades for Joe and his whole team. We had extensive water damage through half our home resulting in a very long project. Work has been completed to our satisfaction, but Joe continues to work thru multiple issues with insurance company. He is truly an expert and an advocate.We feel like we’ve made lifelong friends!

Joe and his team were a pleasure to work with on creating the plans for our home addition. Joe came to our house to look at and listen to our ideas of adding an additional room that would serve as an office space, as well as an egress window added to the basement. We had a drawing session where Joe took our ideas and turned it into a 3D, detailed blueprint that we were able to visualize and make changes to in real time. Phil and Amanda contributed a lot to the project and were so easygoing! We met several times to nail down each detail of the project.We got to the very final stages of planning the project when we ended up purchasing another home and moving. I have no doubt this team would have continued to be reliable, honest and easy to work with the remainder of the project. I absolutely recommend this company!

The experience we had with Levco after our detached garage burned down was absolutely amazing. We had a certain idea in mind when building the new garage and had reached out to other builders who said they were unable to make this work. Levco dedicated their entire team to the project and were able to work with us and our insurance in order to make it happen. One of our biggest worries was that our dogs use the back yard all day and they were able to communicate with us, so that the space was available for them when possible. It was so nice to have such great experience after the disaster. Their family oriented business made us feel like family as well! This project went above and beyond what we could have hoped for. If you want to take a seemingly stressful experience and turn it positive, Levco is where its at! Another thing to note is that they reach out to the community and are a mission driven company which is really important to us when voting with our dollar! Thank you Joe, Brant and everyone who had a part in this project, we couldnt be happier!

Joe Levitch and Levco Builders just completed a fairly small kitchen remodeling project for me. It was the most pleasant and stress-free experience I have ever had with a building contractor. There was never any pressure at any stage in the process, but always assistance in making the many choices that remodeling always requires. Work was done timely by competent, friendly professionals. The job site was always left tidy and clean at the end of the day and they were very respectful of the fact that we had to live in our home while they did their work.I have read some negative reviews on Google, but it is clear that at least two of them are from trolls who never had work done by Levco. This is the tyranny of anonymous online reviews. If you want a cut rate price for low quality work, Levco is not for you, but if you are willing to pay a fair price to have a job done properly, professionally and timely, then Joe and his team will not disappoint.For those who care about such things, and I do, Levco is committed to reuse and recycling. Also, Joe’s personal long-term commitment to the community and its people should be acknowledged and is worthy of support.i would especially like to thank Jesiah, who was our lead project manager and worker, as well as Shane and Carmen, who all helped bring our kitchen ideas to life. Jesiah, in particular, is a quiet perfectionist whose work is a joy to watch.Follow-up nearly 5 years later…Nearly 5 years after Joe Levitch and his crew did a minor remodel in our kitchen, we found we had a slow water leak that had caused a significant mold problem and had destroyed the sunflower under a portion of the kitchen. When had a flood repair and contractor start work and got mold abatement handled, but our insurance denied the claim and we were left paying for the project ourselves. We were trying to find contractors to do various aspects of the job, but were not able to get workers to actually come to our home and start work. In frustration, after having no use of our kitchen for 3 weeks and with a large section of the kitchen floor and subfloor missing, I called Joe. He got a crew on the job in 2 days and his people did a great job of getting the entire mess mixed up in a timely fashion. They got our job all done in 2 weeks, with the largest amount of time spent getting flooring ordered and delivered. It is such a pleasure to work with a professional, ethical contractor.Thank you again Joe, Cindy and all your crew!

Levco construction completed a total house remodel and add on as well as a return a few years later for further expansion. We could not be happier that we chose Joe of Levco to construct our house. The entire Levco team were not only professional, but very efficient and great to work with. Their attention to detail and quality of work is outstanding. I recommended Levco to friends and family and will continue to do so as well.

Levco Remodeling did a remarkable job our remodel during a stressful time. We started this job at the outbreak of the COVED-19 virus. Joe and Brandt especially took the time to make sure the job was done and done right! Amazingly, it was done on time.The project involved knocking down and interior wall and raising the floor of an adjacent room by about 6 inches. That adjacent floor (sunken living room) was a big trip hazard, and the wall was just an obstacle that prevented us from making use of the entire space. It is now so open and beautiful. Prior to their work the area was (plastic) curtained off to minimize dirt and dust, as well as providing social separation from the workers. We appreciated that!Next our oak hardware floor was put down and Juan did a tremendous job. We are so happy with all Levco did for us! On my first phone meeting with Joe, I thought, I like this guy and I like how he explained his process. My wife and I met with Joe to discuss remodeling our 1905 North End bungalow in the spring, work started in the fall. He and his team helped us through the design process, his designers helped us with product selections. Joe assigned a dedicated foreman to our job who was amazing and on the jobsite daily for the duration of the project.We have nothing but good things to say about Joe and his whole team, people are blown away when then come into our house and see the amazing results.We highly recommend Levco Builders!

Levco just completed construction of a new garage on my property, and I am an extremely happy customer. Joe went above and beyond the call of duty in guiding me through the process of applying for a variance with the city on the very restrictive setbacks caused by my oddly-shaped property. Throughout the process of designing my garage, Joe proved to be both knowledgeable and creative; He thinks differently than many other contractors I have done business with, and I mean that in the most positive way possible.Levcos process was extremely well organized for a large(ish) project like mine. They were clear in setting expectations of price, timeline and scope of work - and heres the important part - they adhered to those expectations.1. They finished my garage within days of their projected completion date set at the beginning of the process.2. My garage was completed for the price that we originally agreed to (excepting for the addition of two additional change-orders that I requested along the way).3. All work was done as agreed upon, with the materials agreed upon, and of the quality that we agreed upon. The only changes that were made to the project were to my (significant) benefit, and with my vision of the project goals in mind.Examples of my expectations that were exceeded by Levco at no additional cost to me include:- They were concerned about proper drainage on my property, and noted that one of my major motivators for building the garage was to avoid parking in the mud during wet seasons. They decided to install a french drain to improve upon these conditions- They increased the size of all windows in order to let more light in to the structure.- They understood that my goal was to maximize useful space in the structure given the hard limits on building footprint size. They ordered extra-tall trusses to make the upstairs bonus room larger and more usable than expected.I was very impressed that deconstruction of my existing and unusable garage was done with the salvage and recycling of materials in mind. The entire structure had the still usable materials separated from the bad. Only one trailer full of the entire structure was sent to the landfill. They literally painstakingly pulled nails out of nearly every board in the structure that could be re-used and donated to other projects. I love the sustainability of Levcos process.I expressed a wish at the beginning of the project that they communicate with me throughout the process. I like to know exactly what is going on and when. Noah, our project manager, proved extremely competent, kind, and communicated exactly as I had hoped. He touched bases with me, per my request, on a nearly daily basis. He double-checked that tasks were completed per my expectations, and on the (very rare) occasion that I had a complaint, he was very quick to jump in and initiate immediate change. Mistakes happen, especially in large-scope projects like mine. Importantly, Noah took ownership of every mistake, whether it was his, his crew members, a subcontractors, or even just bad luck.One tool that Levco uses that I found invaluable: Their Buildertrend customer website portal. Its a custom web-based account were you can view all project documents, internally message any Levco employee, make payments, view an (accurate and up-to-date) calendar, and even see progress pictures. As someone who likes to be included in the process, I think this feature truly sets Levco apart from the rest.Lastly, I feel that the quality of work that they produced is top-notch. They used high quality building materials designed to last a lifetime, and displayed a high level of craftsmanship to make a visually pleasing and useful product. In my experience, Levco uses the perfect combination of both form and function.I love my new garage, and I felt that the entire process of working with Joe and the rest of Levco team was an extremely positive experience. I would gladly hire them again for future projects, and I highly recommend them to any perspective client.

A home inspection uncovered water in my crawl space. The buyers wanted the problem fixed and we were under a pretty tight deadline. Levco discovered the problem in the crawl space and proposed the installation of a French drain outside the problem area.They were able to complete the work in a very short period of time. In the follow up re-inspection there was still some dampness in the crawl space and Levco made sure it was dry and satisfied the inspector and our buyers over the course of a couple of days. They did not invoice us for any additional charges even though they had to come back.I would recommend Levco for the quality and timeliness of their work. They made our inspection process a complete success.

I can’t say enough good things about Joe and the people that work for him. They did a complete basement renovation for us. Our 90-year-old basement was a disaster, water seepage and all the issues that come with it. Now our basement is a showpiece. We cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Levco. Joe and his crew came aboard our project after a previous contractor had left our home in shambles. Levco took on the very difficult job of making our home whole again. Our project involved an entire home rebuild/remodel (including new plumbing & electrical) and the addition of a master suite in an existing attic area. Levco had a solid understanding of north end building requirements and promptly obtained necessary permits. Jesiah and his crew always took the time to listen and werent afraid to think outside the box to make things happen. Noah handled most of our custom projects. Hes a super talented carpenter and his attention to detail is evident by his beautiful work. Levco does not take shortcuts. Their work is quality and they stand behind it. I recommend this company with no reservations. We only wish we had hired them the first time around!

We hired Levco to demolish our old attached shop and construct a new one, along with a new patio. They were immediately responsive to our initial inquiry and with their team we worked out a design and construction plan that fully met our needs. The project had various challenges related to setbacks and backyard access. They resolved all those challenges and also worked with us to modify the plan as we went in order to help us stay within budget. They assigned a project manager who was excellent to work with and we enjoyed interacting with their whole team. We love our new shop and patio and are glad that we hired Levco for the project.

We were so impressed by Joe . He was so upfront and honest with us from the get go. We have a 1970s rancher style home and our bathrooms were in dire need of an upgrade and some TLC.Joe came to us in August of last year, and in mid -October is when we signed contracts to start the work.Our project started in December, and lasted thru just after the first of the year, We were assigned Josh, for the project manager, and he is Amazing!I could call him at any time and he would answer any questions I had.Shane is also amazing.I felt very comfortable with them at my house . Josh loved my dog, Ace, and Ace certainly loved Josh.As I am giving this company 5 stars, there were some staffing changes that occurred during the design time, and cost did change,, however,I know that the team that is in place now, will be aligned with Joe and his values .We look forward in a few years to have Joe and his team back to do our kitchen and dining areas.Thank you for all your great work !Sue Cook and Family

I want to thank Levco Builders for their professionalism in handling my emergency situation. I had Home Depot installers come to my house to install new flooring. They found my slab concrete very uneven and would not install the waterproof vinyl plank flooring until I remedied the situation. I called Levco that night and Jack came to my house before 8am the next morning, assessed the concrete floors and had a bid back to me before 10am. Shane and Brett arrived right away and determined they could correct the issue by the end of the next day. They even met the installers at my house to make sure all areas were addressed. I am very impressed by this team, led by Joe, who obviously cares a great deal about his clients! Also, thank you to Cyndi, Levcos office manager, who was very responsive and helped coordinate everything! You are all Rock Stars in my book!

Joe was super friendly and helpful. Our basement flooded and he came with all his special equipment (thermal imaging camera, moisture reader, etc) and helped us identify if we had things dry and where the leak was coming from. He had great ideas on the exterior that come spring when the ground thaws, he will help with for keeping the water from getting to our home. Hes a problem solver and a thinker. Took time to look at our floor plans and explain how the home was built with potential problems in the foundation. He knows what hes doing! Would definitely recommend.
