From the moment I met Ruben I knew I would be working with him. He was friendly and professional, he conducted himself with an authentic trustworthiness, never oversold himself, represented his work clearly and honestly, and we were able to have a very open non confrontational discussion about how we each liked to work, handle money on contracts, and how we wanted to approach the job. I needed another bathroom, A complete new build in a house I just bought, on a limited budget, with some very unique design challenges in a house that hadn’t been maintained well for decades, with lots of unknowns, in the wall, wiring, non standard out of code stuff … Ruben does excellent work. He is a master craftsman. What sets him apart beyond others in his field is his ability to see the whole picture, the whole job, and be able to steer it in the right direction, anticipate potential problems - and let me know where we might run into trouble, the range of cost for decisions we make, and listen to my ideas of what I want to see in the end, and when I wanted suggestions, he gave great options and helped me think of things I hadn’t thought of, ways to make the bathroom better.. oh yeah, and then he did my laundry room … framed out the whole space to not just fit in my oversized custom shower, precisely fit the shower head in a low ceiling, laid new pipes, cleaned out dumb old stuff, set the water and electric for both rooms, and he just finished days before he was supposed to. And he just spent a little time coaching me on the right approach for the next week of my critical work, and he’s going to come back in a couple weeks and help me do other stuff … I’m not sure yet exactly what, but now I know that I can completely 100% trust Ruben, he always does what he says he will, he cautioned me on the risks, and he saved me money at every step of the job. My bathroom plus laundry room ended up costing me what a bunch of other jokers wanted me to pay for a mediocre job on just the bathroom… oh also, this is important - he had given me an initial estimate, I outlined the challenges of the job, and also how I would be working around the house as well, he was hesitant on the overall thing I wanted to do …. And then he called me later that night, had rethought my ideas, came up with a different approach, a smaller budget, if I could operate by some parameters that he laid out about who bought what and when I paid…. No affect, no bs, no sell, no spin, just a decent guy who enjoys his craft, does great work, and just wants to do good work, add beauty and functionality to people’s homes, and conduct proper business. People don’t usually leave contact info here, and I don’t wrote many reviews, but I will stand by this guy. Ruben did a fantastic job changing the air vent in our half bath and replacing two blinds in the bedroom. He was punctual, professional, and meticulous with his work. The air vent and the blinds are perfectly installed. Ruben was friendly and respectful of our home. Highly recommend his services!

He gave us a proposal and within the week it was done, just like that! We had no experience with other companies so could not comment on the specifics of quality or cost. But I am happy with the results and how quick it was done. It was good for the peace of mind (our patio was not in a good shape😂).

Ruben was amazing. I had water in my heating lines and the house temperature was 60 F and dropping a few degrees per hour. Ruben diagnosed the problem and determined the best approach within 5 minutes. He asked for some buckets and drained the water (and entrapped air) right at the source (the furnace). He checked that everything was secure and left. All in 20 minutes! But that was not the end of his service. He called me every hour for the next four hours to make sure the temperature was increasing (it was) and then several times the next day. He was by far the most efficient and knowledgeable home repair person I had ever had work on my house. It was a delightful experience!

I’ve seen a house addition, kitchen, and deck that he built and the work was beautifully done. Ruben is creative and skilled, and works efficiently. Ruben C. was terrific! From the rapid response to our Request for a Quote, to scheduling a small but important set of jobs required to prep the house for sale, the process was flawless and easy. Would recommend and will call again when we need home improvement work done! He did some complex woodwork on a conspicuous part that looked original when he was done (to include arriving with stain color samples on the type of wood he used, for us to select on the day of the work).
