They helped us resettle into our home by thoroughly cleaning our ducts for the first time in two decades, working tirelessly from dawn until dusk. They also replaced two furnaces, installed humidifiers, and serviced our garage heater while also identifying ways to improve our setup. The entire crew was professional, hard-working, and truly dedicated to ensuring everything was perfect. We feel confident in the quality and efficiency of our home’s heating and cooling now, thanks to their expertise. This company always goes above and beyond for me. Installed furnace made sure I stayed warm by lending me a safe space heater before installation. Then most recently out to fix leaky hose for condensation to do with a/c. Highly recommend and friendly staff who never seem too busy for your needs!

Best HVAC company I’ve ever used!Over the years I have worked with about 7 or 8 HVAC companies and overall these guys are clearly the best. I had an unusual situation with an uncooperative warrantee company. The owner was very helpful and did whatever the warrantee company asked to prove the repair on my AC was necessary. The office staff was even more helpful and accommodating. She even got on a call with me and the warrantee company to resolve my issue. I can’t say enough for all they did and the patience they had. The customer service was outstanding.The price was good and the installation went smoothly. The team that came out was very nice and they knew what they were doing.I highly recommend this company.

IF THERE WAS AN OPTION FOR TEN STARS I WOULD SELECT IT! Honest, helpful, attentive, and willing to work with me! The owner actually came with two of his employees to do the job. I would not hesitate one second and selecting them again for any HVAC need, electrical, or plumbing. My mom passed away in February, at the same time my dad became ill, then my air conditioning went out. The experience I had with this company gave me a much needed lift! Give them a call, you wont be disappointed!

Dawn got me through a very stressful situation with my home warranty company & the guys at Family Heating & Air fixed my central air conditioning. They also went out of their way to come back & replace a blower motor & find one locally so Id have my a/c. I plan to use them for my duct cleaning next. These people care about their customers. Many phone calls to Dawn & she took care of me. And the guys were so friendly to my dog. 😊Im not able to post a second review, but after a month of having my new a/c unit, lightning struck and there was a power surge. Ive had to get a new furnace and a second a/c unit. Dawn helped me get through the insurance process and I cant say enough about this company. They truly care for their customers. I couldnt be happier! Dawn, Bob, Jesse, Todd & Gavin... I cant say enough good things. Thank you for excellent service and for again, caring about my dog while youre in our home.

Dawn, their office manager has been extremely helpful in helping me get some home warranty work facilitated, as well as the techs that did my installation. Family Heating and Air has been such a huge help to me from the very beginning. Im a new homeowner with absolutely NO experience with this stuff. They went above and beyond to order me a nice, new AC unit and was even able to install it sooner than the projected install date. I dont think my house was the easiest to work with either but they made it happen. Dawn is an absolute gem and walked me through the whole process. 🙂 Im so grateful!

Bob and his co worker are outstanding. My furnace went out and they had to go to Dubuque to pick up the part. Never hesitate one bit. Put the part in and there was an electrical issue, Bob stayed until he had my furnace running. Outstanding service and Dawn in the office is a sweetheart.Would highly recommend and they are my new go to furnace and AC people.Thank you all so much.

I had a issue as soon as I bought my house, the ac is 27 years old and they have help me trough the process and helped with the insurance by staying on the phone with them for who knows how long. Everyone there is doing a great job and I wont have to go another month in this hot weather without ac.

This place is amazing. Not only did they help me with my water heater, but with my air ducts, heater and a busted pipe under the house! They were so sweet, quick, professional and caring. They truly made me feel like family and gave me a great deal and made everything perfect and safe for me and my son. I cant thank them enough for all that they did. The lady I talked too was super informative, punctual and constantly kept me updated and with before and after pictures making sure I liked everything. My heater has been working wonderfully and my gas water heater has as well. I seriously will only be dealing with this company for all my problems! They are truly amazing people! I am so appreciative of them!

They have gained my trust 100x over some of the other companies in this area. Another plus was that they are fully licensed within Freeport. I highly recommend them for HVAC work.
