Had Bottom Dollar Carpet put new carpet & padding in my house yesterday. It looks great - and I couldnt be happier with the service. I had 3 quotes from different companies- Bottom Dollar was the best price. Josh quoted our project- then checked in to make sure we were happy with the results. The installers were respectful- and even vacuumed and swept up any mess left behind. I was worried they would scuff up my newly painted baseboards- Ive had that problem in the past- but they didnt at all. I would recommend BDC for anyone looking for new flooring. Great price- great service.

We called Bottom Dollar Carpet because we had some water damage in our bathroom and flooring in multiple rooms. They came out for a free estimate immediately and got to work as soon as possible. They were knowledgable, helpful, friendly, and skilled. They helped us every step of the way and did a superb job replacing the vanity, drywall, tub, paint, and flooring in our bathroom and surrounding halls and rooms.I cannot recommend this business enough. Our house looks better than before and it was done for a fair price and with little to no hassle.

I used Bottom Dollar to redo one of our bathrooms. Every home improvement project has hiccups but these folks genuinely care about the finished product and worked hard to make sure we were happy (and I can be tough). After we demod the shower we found we had room to add a bench & expand the space a little; they were very accommodating in changing things up. The Bahia granite I chose can vary a great deal from slab to slab but that wasnt an issue either, they kept sending me pictures til I found one I liked. I am very happy with the finished product (even if my blue walls had to go because the room was too blue). I plan on using Bottom Dollar again when I tackle our kitchen. Well done folks! Thank you!!

Worked with Mike the owner, he came out and measured the 5 spaces we were replacing the flooring. Install started 4 days later. Installer was professional and cleaned up after each day. In the end we ended up with too much additional flooring. They adjusted the quote to reflect the incorrect original estimate.

Bottom Dollar just finished putting in granite and a backslash in my kitchen. I am very pleased with the final results. They did a great job! Both the granite and tile person came on time and finished the job when they said they would. They also cleaned up after themselves so I could barely tell they had been there. We are so happy with everything especially our bathroom. Its beautiful. If I didnt run out of hot water I would not come out of that shower. It took longer then expected but so worth it. The process of replacing a cracked granite kitchen counter is daunting to a novice. I didnt know where to start having heard horror stories of unscrupulous contractors.I went to Bottom Dollar Carpets in Freeport and was extremely and pleasantly surprised from the moment I walked into the store. Very well stocked with flooring inside and their marble/stone slabs outside. Kelsey helped me with the questions as she was knowledgeableand accurate in her answers. I recently had a major flooding incident in my house due to some plumbing issues. I lost my wood flooring, and there was damage behind the baseboards. The recovery team from Bottom Dollar came in quickly, moved furniture out, pulled up the damaged floor, brought in their drying equipment, and faithfully checked on the moisture level for several days. They were competent in their knowledge of mitigation, and I was reassured in the process by their attention to customer service.Grout and tile cleaning services were also used. I was pleased with the outcome, as well as the attention to customer service.Bottom Dollar Carpet laid my new floor after my flooding experience. Juan was my installer and did a beautiful job. He worked hard all day, not even stopping for lunch. He loves what he does and takes pride in his work! Bottom Dollar Carpet has a jewel in Juan!

I have used Bottom Dollar Carpet 3 times when remodeling 2 homes and an office. The company does much more than install carpet. It is really a remodeling company that will go the extra mile to help you on any job large or small. For the first job 14 years ago, I had carpet installed in a medical clinic and it’s still looking good. For the second job, I had a beautiful wood floor installed, recarpeted the bedrooms, repainted the interior and exterior of my home, and replaced the kitchen and fireplace tile. During my last move, I had the master shower completely torn down and installed a large glass shower spa, and had the interior of my entire house painted. All work was completed by skilled craftsmen. In addition Mike, the owner, is easy to reach, congenial, and attentive. I would use this company again in a minute.

I just had my entire downstairs tiled by these guys. They were professional, in time, efficient and cleaned up every day when done. They went to great extreme to cover everything up to keep dust off as much as possible.I had just had my floors done by someone else and decided ( after water damage) to have these guys put down same tile. Mike Morgan, the owner of Bottom Dollar Design, is an asset to the local construction community. In an industry filled with unscrupulous people, Mike really stands out as a person of integrity. He is easy to work with, because he is a nice guy with a customer focused attitude.I hired Mike to do a full remodel of my home, after I had trouble with another local contractor. Mike came in to give me an estimate on the floors, and convinced me that he could take over the whole project. From the start, he seemed different than other people in this business.Mike told me how much the job would cost, and he assured me that even if there were problems during the project, he would personally make certain that everything came out right in the end.This was a big project, with many moving parts. I also have an extreme attention to detail. Any time I had an issue with how something was being done, I went to Mike. He was on my side every single time, and he made sure that his crews completed the work to my satisfaction. Mike is a big enough player in the industry that he has someone who can complete any job, and he has enough clout to make subcontractors do things right. This is very important when you have a big project!Mike did not ask for payment until I was happy with the work, and I never felt pressured for money. He seemed to be more interested in making sure the work was done right than he was in getting paid!In the end, the project was finished in the way that I wanted, for the price Mike gave me up front. A lot of contractors will try to get extra money out of you every time you have a small request during the project. Mike never did this!The highest praise I can give is this: If I had to do another remodel, I would gladly hire Mike Morgan again.

Bottom Dollar replaced the kitchen tile floor with vinyl plank flooring. In three bathrooms they replaced the tile around the bathtubs and replaced the sink countertops with granite, and replaced one tub with a jacuzzi tub. They removed all the upstairs carpet and installed vinyl plank flooring. I had a complaint about one issue and they quickly corrected the problem. The workers were considerate of my family members who were at home and cleaned up after themselves. A great job.

I used Bottom Dollar Carpet to replace the carpeting through my house and to renovate my master bathroom - this was a large project that involved ripping out the old (moldy) shower, vanities, and carpet (yes - carpet in the master bath). After that I worked with Josh (who was outstanding through the entire process - and I would highly recommend to anyone else) - to design what I wanted the bathroom to look like in terms of layout and materials. I ended up adding a wall to expand the shower, tiling both the shower and the floors, adding back-splash, and custom granite counters to go with the new vanities (all-in-all a lot of work). Josh was easy to communicate with throughout the entire process (I prefer texting and he would respond within mins). He was willing to work with in my budget and personal preferences and did a good job of coordinating the various contractors. The contractors who came through during each phase were professional and delivered high quality craftsmanship. I would highly recommend Bottom Dollar Carpet to anyone looking for home renovation - this family owned and operated business delivers in quality and customer service across the board.

During February, 2014, my wife and I decided to remodel our master bathroom and a small half-bath. We contacted 4 contractors and requested estimates. Two of these had done work for us previously, and we knew they did good quality work. A third was new in the area but showed us photos of previous jobs, which looked very nice. None of these three ever provided a quote, even after waiting two months. While we were waiting, we visited Bottom Dollar one day during my wifes lunch break- trying to find another option. We were immediately impressed by the design expertise which Judy shared with us about what the master bath might look like. Mike Morgan was also great about spending time with us in their store and showed us some granite slabs they just started to carry. We found an exotic one we really liked, and he agreed to hold it for us until we made a decision. He also helped us select tile for the shower which would go with the granite and our existing floor tiles (which we wanted to keep) and some compatible backsplash and glass mosaic tiles for a design accent. Once he came up with a price, it seemed reasonable, so we awarded him the job, even though it was the only quote we had. He just impressed us as an energetic, hard-working guy who would get the job done. None of the others offered any specific design ideas, and we got tired of waiting on their estimates.The job took longer to complete than Mike estimated, but friends who have done similar remodeling projects told us the duration was typical. Being retired, I was home every day and got to watch the work closely. Mike Sims did an excellent job on the shower rebuild (with ceramic tiles and the glass mosaic) along with the backsplashes for the new tub and the two vanity countertops. Fernando Ibarra (with Vision Granite) did a beautiful job installing the granite for the countertops, tub deck, window sill, pony wall top, and the shower bench and curb. The guys who did the plumbing were not as skilled and had to correct several minor problems, but we were very pleased with the final results. It really turned out to look even better than we expected.

After installing new shower, we started having problems with water draining out of shower. They came back several times to try and unblock. Bottom Dollar had to eventually take flooring out. They found there were too many P traps and had used 1 1/2 pipe. They took out p trap and installed 2 pipe and have had no other issues. We have used Bottom Dollar for other things on our home and have always been very pleased.

Bottom Dollar repainted my kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Gary and his crew were very professional. They took great care in protecting our floors, walls, etc. 30 year old cabinets look greatWill use again.

I was initially hesitant about replacing my carpet because of the upheaval it creates, but Bottom Dollar Carpet was so professional that I would recommend them to anyone.I paid an extra $40 for them to move and return all my heavy furniture. It was worth it. They tore up and removed my old carpet, pad and tack strips. Then levelled the floor in prep for the new tile. The first day they finished the hallway. Came back the 2nd day and did my dining room and back bathroom. The 3rd day they installed the custom stained 1/4 round and strips between the new tile and old carpet.The 2 gentlemen who did the work were very professional and extremely courteous. They were very unobtrusive while completing their work.I would use Bottom Dollar again, no hesitation at all. They deserve the 5 star rating.

Bottom Dollar Carpet helped me with remodeling my kitchen, I had shopped around and found that they were one of the most reasonable stores, family owned and very professional. I had them come and redo my counter tops and backsplash. They installed the new granite, it took them half a day and it was worth every penny, very detailed and took time to ensure all cuts were precise and smooth. The next weekend they installed my backsplash, once again very precise and professional, took time to explain any type of questions I had and took time to clean up and make everything presentable. I will now use bottom dollar carpet for my flooring and and any future up coming work.Ask for Josh he will help you with whatever you need.

I recently had new carpet and wood laminate installed. Sales associates were very helpful, phone communication throughout the whole process was great and the installation technicians were professional and on time each day.
