We had a sewage backup in our basement that we discovered late at night on the day after Christmas. We called Roto-Rooter and the technician - Matt - came out faster than the promised time window. He was friendly and efficient and explained everything he was doing and answered our questions. He did a thorough job identifying where the blockage was, clearing it, and ensuring that everything was fixed fully before he left. He also clearly laid out follow-up instructions and things to be careful of. We will 100% use them for their services again.

Tim was courteous and professional from the moment he arrived, he reviewed the issue and was clear with the pricing and provided great information with any questions i had and proceeded to do a clean and quick process of clearing out the clog. Gabriel was also professional in his approach with the camera inspection and showed the results of his findings and provided multiple options of how to address any future issues with various pricing and financing options as well. I am happy overall with the experience and service provided.

Tim was amazing! His attention to detail and his obvious respectful manner was fantastic to have in our home. He did as minimal damage to the drywall as possible, and he worked tirelessly to fix our mystery leak. He was friendly to our cat as well, talking to her to calm her down with the repairs going on. Great experience overall. We had an issue with our shower so Matthew and Bilal replaced the cartridge and fixed it up good as new. Very knowledgeable and explained the process along the way. They even helped us unstick a tight sink pipe during our bathroom update project. Gave us a discount since we had all the tools handy. Will call them again the next time we inevitably need a plumber.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I had a leak that came from one floor down to the ceiling of the other and caused some water damage. This occurred between the Christmas and NYE holidays on a Friday afternoon. In a panic I called 16 plumbers in Alexandria, all told me they couldn’t get out to me until 3-5 days or said it would be a $500 fee just to show up + whatever work they did (crazy), except Roto Rooters. They got a team out within about 3-4 hours. Jessica did a thorough check with heat gun / moister meter to determine amount of damage. Matt gave me a quick diagnosis of leak. They guided me through what they recommend for restoration / mold prevention at no cost. Both were kind and professional and assisted me at 7PM on a Friday night, even for a low cost job. I would recommend this company 100%.

I had to shut off all water due two a broken angle valve between the wall and the toilet. Technician came out within two hours and fixed it in about 15 minutes. Very pleased with the fast service, but I thought the service charge was somewhat high. Thus only four stars. Actually the high cost doesn’t surprise me, but it was higher than anticipated. Overall, they did an excellent job.

Called the company and then sent someone pretty promptly (1 hour 15), although it wasn’t an emergency. Tech (Brang) explained my options and did a good job with the repair. I thought the truck might be better stocked for the simple part I needed (shower valve) but he went and bought another locally. Call-out rate was higher than I’d hoped to pay but the service was good.

Professional customer representative when I called for appointment. Was notified 1 hour ahead of service technician’s arrival. Technician “Brang” was friendly and professional. Updated me step by step as he searched for water leak within walls. Eventually finding the leak he was able to begin a speedy repair. Supervisor came to house to inspect and document damages from water to walls, floor and carpet to assist with damaged clean up, repairs estimate and insurance claim.

Nick was exceptionally competent at this job and restored our drainage service quickly. he cleaned out the drains from the house to the septic tank. Today, Saturday, Ben arrived to check out our drainage line from the septic tank to the drain field. He ran a line from the tank 110 through the drain field. Our experience with this company has been enjoyable. All the personnel we encountered were friendly, communicative and professional. if needed we will use them again.

But he arrived and within seconds of me explaining/showing him the issue, he went off his knowledge and experience to troubleshoot the issue (garbage disposal just hummed) and he was right. Within a minute or two the disposal was working and he quickly cleared up what was blocking it as well and explained the entire situation. He provided a maintenance solution (Pipe Shield) for maintaining pipes throughout the house and explained when and how to apply it. On April 18, 2020 my wife noticed while going to take our daughter into the basement that a plumbing pipe had burst and had been spraying water onto our basement floor flooding the entire basement. Our basement was fully carpeted and had been completely damaged and soaked from all of the water. We did not know how long it had been leaking as the pipe was behind some insulation in our storage room. I looked up plumbing companies who could help in emergencies and I found RotoRooter and called them immediately to help. They quickly took my information and within 45 minutes Jonathan Davis, a plumbing technician arrived. He was very friendly, had a good sense of humor, and quickly identified the problem (a hole had been created from high water pressure which caused the flooding). He informed us that he needed to quickly run to Home Depot since it was close to closing time to get a replacement part, and he quickly left our home and returned back within 45 minutes. He was able to change and replace the broken pipe piece, and he took many pictures of the damage and sent it to my phone for good measure. Jonathan Davis was very informative, friendly, and did a great job! We are very thankful for him and highly recommend Roto Rooter for any plumbing needs. They also have a water cleanup division who we are also using, and those gentlemen were also very professional. I am thankful to Jonathan Davis and RotoRooter for all their help. Highly recommended!

I could not be more impressed by the service I received from Roto-Rooter. I just moved into the house and within a couple of weeks we began having water backup issues. I called a large competitor who came out and gave us the bad news that we would need a total sewer line replacement. I called Roto-Rooter for a second opinion. They agreed with a lot of the other competitors findings, however, they offered a different approach by taking it one step at a time until the issue was fixed. Additionally what was amazing about Roto-Rooter is they made us priority since we had kids which meant they started that day, worked very late at night and put us on the schedule for next steps immediately. The entire team was amazing always making it clear they felt bad and wanted to do what was best for us and constantly telling my family they would take care of us. The entire team was amazing, Hank Woods was our Excavation Manager and could not have been better to work with. Zakk (?) and Aaron did a lot of the work and were also incredible, Aaron even coming out on a Sunday to try to help finish the job.Additionally, I had Roto-Rooter extend my sump pump drain to the street, Gerald Dawson was great with coming up with a suggestion and plan due to some complexities. I had a leak from the intake line of an upstairs bathtub. Access to the plumbing of the tub was extremely limited and convoluted. I feared that the tub would have to be ripped out to get to the problem. However, John, a senior plumber with Manassas Roto Rooter, appeared in a timely manner and attacked the problem. He fixed it relatively quickly and without having to do any damage to the tub or surround -- which took a lot of skill. However, his real skill, in my eyes, was his ability to identify a replacement style that was both attractive to me and that lent itself to being installed in that cramped space with minimal pain and frustration on his (and my) part. Standard fixtures would not work (because of the lack of access), but he knew exactly what would. I will be a return customer when the need arises.

Once Mr John Monaghan arrived , he went to work and at the same time was providing me with so much Feedback on what he was doing and were the problem was , after a couple minutes he found the Problem and fixed it, I would highly/definitely/recommend mr John Monaghan form roto-Rooter .if you ever need help/problem.. he’s the perfect person to call .. thank you so much MR John Monaghan..

Kedron Kitchens and Mr. Dawson were both wonderful to work with despite the situation being so depressing to discover. They called before arrival to give notice then arrived at the time given, promptly went to work and were very personable. I would recommend RotoRooter and both technicians for water damage and plumbing problems.

Marqui Dawikins and trainee( Sesay) came and reran 3 toilet supply lines so I could install toilets with a skirt. They also seated all 3 toilets. Both were funny, engaging and very polite. I highly recommend, there was one slight problem Marqui astutely diagnosed the problem and everything was fully functional. Satisfied customer and recommend for others.

They had to excavate our front yard to replace the old orangeburg pipe. The two young men that were here were VERY professional, extremely respectful and nice, and went the extra mile by removing a huge stump in the yard also. Thank you so much and I will definitely recommend you all!!
